I’ve owned a S3 8l in the same Red color as yours, I freaking loved how the red matched with my silver wheels and silver mirrors and of course with the bits of chrome on the car. so look up for the satin silver mirrors, not the aluminum ones, trust me it will be a nice upgrade.

I need your help I'm in hick ass upper Michigan I don't know if I lost my tune or what my car stopped running normal after taking the passenger tire off to changed the axle after it snapped. I am fully committed on single turning my 2.7 a6 quattro with the 6mt. I'm honestly a Mazda rotory guy but my late father loved these so I bought one for him he was supposed to help me with my exhaust. It's supposed to have a GIAC tune for 20 psi on 93. So I'm assuming around 290-310hp on the k03 choking. I bought the car this March the day before my birthday with a blown clutch. I have no one to help me. I'm pretty sure I'm following you on three different accounts. I will crush this car before I sell it to anyone around here.
nice vid. i can relate to almost everything you said... go stand alone bro... forget stock ecu... i am using ecumaster pnp and i am actually happy.my car kick ass. it has 415 awhp .it is fast on the track, it is docile to pick up groceries and it is fun to drive. problem free for almost for 2 years even being tracked , going thru dyno sessions, top speed runs and normal traffic use... i think ecumaster has a huge responsability for this how´s about the lag between shifts? , thats one of my concerns. since i track the car can´t have lag..when on the track i flashift but flatshifitng isnt like magic. if you have a lot of lag, it will show up (the lag) another question about oil control and pcv´s... stock car is dependent on a good pcv system. i am not seeing your pcv solution. have you done anything special of just a catch oil can its done ? *edit just started following you on instagram. and sorry about the LONG text here
All good lol! I run a catch can for PCV and it’s vented to atmosphere because I have no inlet pipe Lag between shifts is not bad but if that’s a concern I would go with a ball bearing turbo which will maintain a lot more rotation during shifts. Who did you use for tuning on your standalone?
4uattros4 man i live in Brasil... things are way expensive then in the us . I really cant afford a bb turbo hahaha. I tuned my self. No tuners available and eitherway i dont trust any them . Normally those guys are amateurs that know less then me lol. Gonna send you a dm in instagram

Hey man Definitely can be done for under $10k. You can get it done around $6k but that will involve a lot of DIY on your end and also using the XS Power single turbo kit. You’ll need to modify your coolant crossover piping, intake manifold and wiring harness a bit. You can check out more details in this video link. I honestly don’t like recommending any turbo brand but I’ve heard good things from other who run them and they are rally well priced. I have also heard of some not lasting very long but at the price point it’s a chance you take.

@@CIPGAS not at the moment but my list is 034 auxiliary delete, 034 coil conversion & ICM delete with RS6 coils, 034 spider hose, projectb5 monster intake/034 phonolic spacer kit/stock throttle body/APR Bi pipe with forge DVs, stock fuel rail with 550cc, projectb5 oversized ywith big bore hoses, k24 and inlets, SRM 3inch DPs, AWE side mounts, wall to 450 fuel pump and of course ringer stage 4 clutch and flywheel. Any recommendation on motor and tranny mount? Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Also don’t forget the snub mount and also take a look at your rear diff carrier bushings, the diff mount and the driveshaft support bearing
Honestly not much you can do for body enchantments these chasis are sexy to began with plus you already have euros headlights. Just fix the rust and get a respray my opinion. If you buy wrap go 3m! Best wrap you can buy
Good thing you didn't go b7 a4 those blow around 150k with a known engine problem. i have a b7 a4 its gonna blow lol. They are actually good for a chasis and replacing with a new motor.

@@jiricech8198 Most of it depends on the tune. The torque created at lower rpm is what will hurt the motor so having someone tune it to soften the torque onset is vital
Depends if you’re looking to keep the car then yes. Almost all these cars have high mileage so 160k isn’t too bad. And for some perspective mine had 210k on it when bought it.

ecumaster is prepairing a real pnp ecu without adapters probably in 2021...I am considering.

Why not get rid of the false fire wall? More space for bigger turbos. Someone did a video on removing it. Check it out.
I’ve seen it but that false wall is also responsible for a lot of our front end rigidity and it’s a place for me to hide my mess of wires and hoses.

You can definitely pass emissions as long as you keep all your 02 sensors and also install a catalytic converter.

Yeah my bottom end is built using pauter rods and coated main and rod bearings. Also running built 2.8 heads.
If you were to put the intake pipe to run a mad, would you still be able to hear the loud turbo spool?
Yes you probably would hear it just as well.

Yeah that would be the limit for the stock block. And you could daily drive that but carefully lol

So i bought a c5 a6 card holder to replace the cup holder in the dash ill let you know if it works
