I must say no girl can stop herself from falling in love with the charecter ASWIN ❤......every character in this film is so realistic......SIR is a masterpiece film which has taken LOVE❤ to the another level......and your explanation is awesome ❤

This movie is so great. I love Ratna's maturity. It also shows how Ratna's younger sister got it easy when her elder sister was doing all the hard work, she ended up marrying and didn't even wait another 2 months for her diploma. Ratna even told Ashwin to act maturely because the society won't accept such a thing

In a manner the film holds up a mirror to society, at the moment we let our masks slip, and expose our real selves warts and all. The film conveys its message in a way that was very subtle and not preachy at all. It's a beautiful piece of art that though doesn't quite end off in a happily ever after, leaves you feeling good and hopeful when Ratna finally gathers the courage to address Ashwin by his name, rather than "Sir" ......👍👍👍👍

I was amazed watching this movie. I could not found a single flaw in anything of this movie. Beautifully narrated, what a perfect balance seen in every character played by the actors..brilliant! Dialogues, direction, screenplay, camera work, editing, expressions of the actors👌left me speechless. But..some people will always be assholes. I recommended this movie to one of my so called 'posh' friend and just hearing the name she told me "omg are you recommending that movie on 'maid-master' affair?? What a shitty subject!"

Ashwin calls back Ratna to the U.S? Ye nahi hai movie may...it is an open ending...Yeh hum par nirbhar hai ki hum kya sochay movie ki ending kya hai....May be they continued talking and may be Ashwin really called Ratna to the U.S .... OR may be they continued being friends only as Ratna knows very well that Ashwin's parents or the society will never accept them...! SO the second one is a more realistic ending.
But there are people who have married their maids & led successful lives, depends on how strongly people like Ashwin will protect girls like Ratna! If the bond between the two remains strong, no power on earth can separate them!

This is a lovely movie.
Its a very sweet movie and I can visualise both characters to be of the same gender, it would still have been equally sweet. But sadly we dont find such people often in our lives. Shayad life me ek hi baar aise log milte honge, aur kafi baar itne acche logo ko utna value bhi nahi milta.
