The only thing more beautiful than the film itself is the dignity these actors lent to Ratna and Ashwin.
Totally agree!
Yes..agree
Even I felt it
Overall it it nice movie it brought a very different aspect of relationship.
Perfect castinggg yaarr... And this story.. Script..direction.. Everything.. I cant get them out of my head..I feel like I have been watching them for an entire time through a keyhole..Now the movie is over..i misss themmmmmmđ€§đ€§đ€§đ€§đ€§đ€§đđđđ
Absolutely . . Bang onđđ
My friend that's exactly what I felt. That's the word. Dignity.
How much honesty is needed in people to be this candid? I have never seen actors discuss intimate scenes such candidly and professionally. That depth of understanding characters show in the film and that's why it turned out so well. This movie is gem.
Ya. Extreme boundaries yet how did they went cool .. Spreading +tivity about.. Be bold and do things and just don't be afraid.
True and to be able to tell her husband he das a good kisser and he husband has no issue no jealousy..wow..I'll check!
Such a beautiful movieâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžthe first movie of my life watch it more than 10 times....it will be gonna to in my gallery till lastâ€ïž
Thatâs true
Really a good film looking forward and waiting for part 2
Petition to make a 2nd part đđ
Please â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
even though I would love that, perfection can't be repeated
Yes pls
Yes please .
Yes! Same director, same Cast! Show us the next phase of this beautiful relationship...thank you!
This movie taught me how to be a gentleman like the male lead and be happy in little things like Ratna ( female lead). I hope these kind of films are made more often. We need it as a society. â€ïž
Well said

Yes of course you got the point about the entire film Mohit. I really love this movie. Love from SriLanka â€ïž
I noticed it too...thank you and sorry are natural for him. Makes anyone love his character so much.
Vivek Gomber's voice should be a film in itself đ€€đ
good one bro!!
Absolutely â€ïž
Ya really.
Yes...đ
Exactly. When he says ratna everytime my heart skips a beat. Also the way he says hello was so sexy damnnn
gomber made it sooo easy to fall in love with him. his hesitant smile was just adorable
Trueđ„°
Yes...â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I absolutely LOVE the ending scene...when she says "Ashwin"
GOOSEBUMPS đđ
Yaa
It was cute that he kissed her forehead first. This scene was made with such detail and precision, it reflects on the screen. It was a beautiful scene.đ
A goooooood ,sexxxxxxxx scene
She should conduct some acting classes for our so called Bollywood actresses .

No vulgarity, good acting and a perfect story.
Good to see such a masterpiece after a long time.
What's vulger...? If sex is a vulgarity u don't even born in this damm fucked world
WORD!!!
@@pakuzzzpankuzz2464 I swear! People get so worked up with sex. Even if the movie showed some sex scenes, it would have been perfect just the way it was made. I don't understand why people make sex to be something dirty. But the only dirt I see are the minds of people.
@@Jasmine_Sangma ikrr it's the fucking society who is making these disgusting stereotypes
@@pakuzzzpankuzz2464 I guess they avoided a scene like that for the stereotype itself of men sleeping around with their maids. This movie was perfect without it
My favorite part of the kiss scene is how Ratna has agency - itâs not being done to her, sheâs actively participating. Itâs what I liked about the whole film - she only accepts things on her terms
Just finished watching few minutes back. This movie taught us that its not always necessary to add up more masala or too much of drama for a HIT movie. Simplicity at its best! Wish it was a series lol :D
Absolutely
Loved the film! Ashwin is such a mature guy and the way he says "Ratna" is so soothing. đđ„°
This film is spectacular ....
đšSPOILER ALERT đš The last scene where she says Ashwin is so intense ..... Simply loved it
Atleast mention Spoiler alert!

Vivek Gomber 's VOICE have a different fanbase .
I can listen Tony Kakkar 's song from him hours and hours .... It's beautiful đ
Seriously đđ
The more I see of Vivek Gomber, the more I fall in love with him. â€
Me toođ„șđ„°
Me too. He is just awesome in the movie.
Seriously..I felt mostly attracted to his character Ashwin. The way he talked, the way he treated Ratna everything was just so awesome.
Yes exactly!
His voice, his personality, his eyes everything speaks volumes â€
absolutelyyyyyyyyy true
Ashwin is damn mature man and Ratna is wow with her self-respect â€ïž
The kissing scene was AMAZING. Omg so much unspoken emotions portrayed in such a short scene!!
What an amazing marriage Tillotama must have; to feel comfortable enough to talk about how much she enjoyed kissing her co star and her husband being fine with it rather than showing insecurity in asking further questions. Her marriage must be so strong. You hear of seasoned Hollywood actors whose spouses are so insecure about these scenes that they arrive on set to calm their fears of possible infidelity and you get other spouses who don't even want to talk about or ever watch those scenes. Then for Vivek to be comfortable enough to say how much he loves Tillotama as a friend. Wow !!! That is why this movie was amazing; it's because two friends were so comfortable with each other that they were able to be so natural and deliver a masterpiece. I hope there is a sequel.
Does Ashwin exists for real!! đ„ș
He's awwwdorable!!
He is too good to be real
@@lorebubbles1675 nah I donât think so. Letâs normalize goodness

Why do I feel like to watch it again and again .....
I watched it 3 times in a row this week.
i have watched it like more than 6 times đ„°đ„°đ„°
It was a fabulous movie experience for me ... a women who breaks all the restrictions and live all alone leaving behind all the stereotypes... also she always had a thing to move forward towards life learning this this was just a fabulous trait ...and it inspires us
FYI- Vivek Gomber is producer of this movie along with 2014 masterpiece Court and 2020 Venice Film festival screenplay winner, TIFF amplify award, selected at NYFF feat achieved by an Indian film after 20 years, the movie name is The Disciple , also Alfonso Cuaron is Executive producer of it.
Oh yes, I am waiting for The Disciple. But it would be great to see him on screen as well.
She has portrayed the typical Maharashtrian Bai role . Perfect. They lived to the norms of Indian society and then her heart beat her brain the moment she has called him Ashwin.
Am I the only one who hates the ending?
Noo... Mee too đ„Čđ€đ»
perfect ending indeed, there's a possibility that they meet in near future when their career becomes stable, it didn't had to be that they end being intimate and live forever together lovey dovey
this movie is underrated ,given the performances of the actors involved it was a treat to watch.
It is indeed
This film deserves a sequel with a love story progress between them
Agreed
If a sequel will made the essence of the film will gone. Just ending in this way creates a feeling of emptyness . Keep the film just in thai moment we will complete it with our own imagination.
Both are my favoritesđ Expecting the 2nd part of the movie
More like a gender swapped sequel would be great.
If y'all haven't watch this movie, please watch this masterpiece, one of the best out currently.
The ending was great....but still I want them together â€ïž
It's open ended hehe
I want 2nd part
Love the way Ashwin expressed his feelings to Ratna
OMG you both are so cute together! Tillotama's husband has competition, ha ;)
I feel that there is a level of maturity as well as respect in Ashwin's character. His thinking is pure and mature, and that is reflected when he kisses Ratna. I loved that scene, it was delicate, yet powerful. All those differences between the characters evaporate - until the phone rings!
I love how Ratna realises her feelings for Ashwin. She is trying to resist him up until that point. But she has wonderful moments, where at one point she says; 'shehar ke ladke kya chaahe the hain, hum ko nahin pata' - or something along those lines. And she says it with such disappointment. And the moment when she bumps into the lady who comes out of Ashwin's room. Oh her dagger eyes. Her feelings were simmering away, and she realises in that moment of intimacy. Brilliant writing, and brilliantly performed.
It would be great to get Vivek and Tillotama's thoughts on what they think happens to their characters after the movie ends. If the story were to progress, which direction would it take according to them?
I loved this film so much, I think I could write a novel on it! I hope to see Vivek Gomber in more acting roles. He was superb in this movie and I think he has the potential to become a great actor.
Completely agree
I loved Vivek in Court. Heâs a gem.
Do you think when she picks up the phone the relationship is moving towards each other?
@@ouhsc92 Yes, I do. It would be interesting to know why Ashwin calls Ratna at the end of the film, despite Ratna telling him not to contact her.
And why in that - final - moment she calls him by his name; Ashwin, when she decided to leave his house.
I feel in that end sequence, Ratna realised she not only loves Ashwin, but she has lost him too. So when he does call her, it's her moment to tell him how she feels.
And I think he calls her, because he is in love with her, and he knows he won't feel this way about anybody else.
I'd love to see a part two of this film and watch them come together breaking down barriers and living harmoniously in love with each other đ
@@VeeModa I like your interpretation, however I think the movie ended where it should have ended. its the genius of the director to hand you a mirror, you can see whatever you want to see in it. Can you recommend any other movie by Tillotama? I have already seen Monsoon wedding.
A Smile costs less than Electricity..But Gives more light..So Always Keep Smiling n Prove that you are the Best Tube Light

Vivek Gomber surprised me in 'Court' as an actor & as a producer hats off to him to make such fabulous film & now in "Is Love Enough, Sir" how he plays such a calm & composed character..Now i am his fan.
I was short of words when I watched this piece of work. Time just flew like a beautiful poetry.
Love you Tilottama & Vivek â€ïž
Thank you Netflix â€ïž I was searching for this movie from past 5-6 months. A proud Netflix subscriber đ
I watched this movie last year. One of few movies which actually made my lockdown worth staying at home. Brill actors brill performances. Bollywood has a lot to learn from this kinda movies.
What we Deserve : Sir
What we get : coolie number 1
We don't get a movie like "sir" because these kind of movies just gets unnoticed by the mainstream media, we as an audience don't appreciate these kind of movies.
Even if we hate "coolie no. 1" but we can't deny the fact that these kind of nonsense commercial movies are highlighted everywhere and manage to earn a much bigger amount.
OMG! Since the time I saw this move a month back for the first time on netflix and fell in love with Ashwin. His looks, voice, style is to die for
the on-screen chemistry melted my heart
Wow!!! I grew in up Sri Lanka and my entire adolescent years were full of Hindi Movies.I was so obsessed and could remember and sing all the movie songs word by word. Then for good 20 years I may have watched 3 or 4 films in total.Yesterday I watched The White Tiger and today this. Wow man the way this movie captured the emotions is so great. It was very touching to say the least!!
My favorite movie to date. Watched it 3 times. Can watch it a couple more times and will still be extremely hooked to the movie. Acting was brilliant. Ratna was superb and extremely convincing. Kudos to the team. Need more movies like these.
There is an inexplicable chemistry between you two throughout the film. That definitely explains how brilliantly you two have portrayed the characters. The scene in particular just was a culmination of the constant push and pull in the energy. How beautifully it was developed to that point! Loved the film :-)
Have watched the movie so many times just to listen ratna from ashwin... Damn he says so softly .. about movie it didn't at all seem awkward , very well presented!! Kudos to the director
Just brush your teeth and come to bed....đ...just two honest beautiful soulsđ
Both the actors have done a wonderful job. The respect these 2 characters shows to each other was awesome.
I watched this film 3 times via netflix..Mr. vivek Gomber and Ratna have made excellent performance.
This was probably the best film I've seen this year. very well written, executed beautifully. Simplicity at it's best, the characters are so real. I love it.
I can watch it many number of times and won't get enough.. an awesome movie. Watched it las year because of tillotama but ended up loving vivek too...
My favourite movie so far! Iâve recommended it to everyone and this movie opened a whole new world of great indian movies for me cause i never knew india made incredible movies! (I thought they only make musical ones with singing and dancing) đ
Vivek Gomber, you must do more movies!! It's a pleasure to see you onscreen. You are the most impressive actor of contemporary times in India â€ïž
they both are just so beautiful.....and tillotama * chef's kiss *
Loved it! May Ashwinâs tribe grow!! May Ratnaâs tribe grow too!! Such a beautiful movie with beautiful characters! Canât have enough of Vivek n Tillotama!!
Slow pace, realistically done, momentum buildup is nicely done - doesn't give away too quickly. My only suggestion is to make part two to enjoy the class battle and reconciliation :).
watched this movie long back. We need more movies like these. This is just pure talent..
This movie is a masterpiece...my question is that will Ratna meet Ashwin again? Eager to see them together â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Lots of love from Bangladesh....
What a fantastic film. Forces us to think what kind of people we are where we can imagine a love story happening in a corporate office but not between employer and his domestic help.
Seeing new faces and their extraordinary acting is always refreshing. Wish more good movies on OTT
Just watched the movie and their acting is just so raw and real

Such a graceful treatment of love, that is a rarity in bollywood. Such depth in your characters, bollywood biggies have a lot to learn from both of you. This is my new favourite movie, wish you both so much success
I love the movie honestly & felt like every human being should be given equal opportunities in there life without discriminating â€ïž
Grt job guys...such an amazing piece of work...they portrayed their feelings without overdoing it...was so subtle in each scene...and the kissing scene was one of the best I have ever seen... Initiated with a forehead kiss...damn Ashwin n Ratna lived their character â€ïž
Wonderful movie đ
Beautiful film after a long time. Lovely acting by Tilotama and Vivek
This is on my top ten favourite movies. You two are exceptionally good in the movie.
What a film! Pure art...no lust, no short dresses, no double meaning jokes...yet the essence of the film has been fully delivered to the public...all thanks to excellent actors and equally talented director!! This is probably the finest i have seen in decades..
Plz dont stop making such movies else we will have to submit ourselves to shitty meaningless films of Bollywood biggies..
