When most people think of Miami they think of South Beach ,but Today we are going to Miami Gardens Florida aka Carol City home of Rick Ross. I'm a product of 305' Carol City 🧡🖤🤍 I've been eating from Hammonds Bakery when they was on 191st. off of 37th ave A.K.A. The Front ✊🏿 The Meatloaf's are🔥😋. Everytime I go back home Hammonds is my First Stop ! To Grab me a few Meatloaf's 🤤
You should check out the Gullah Geechee community in South Carolina! They are descendants of slaves and have kept most of their west Africa traditions, they also have their own language!

Many connections to there, from Washington DC (most of my years, until very recently), to Rhode Island, to Boston, and born and raised all over Florida, where I am living now recovering from my stroke a very few months ago. This Black (now aging, but never old) boy has been privileged to see much of the states and the Caribbean (adopted Bajan many years ago), and look forward to seeing much, much more. Also my uncle that raised me is first cousin to Julie Dash, of Daughters of the Dust and they maintain property in South Carolina to this day.

Donna's restaurant in Miami Gardens the worst Jamaican Rest I have ever visit...ordered oxtails and rice and peas they put cabbage on my plate which is normal in every Jamaican Rest I have ever visit..but when I got ready to pay they charged me extra for the cabbage even though on the menu it shows it comes with the food, when I questioned it the cashier was very very rude so I refused the food and left, will never go back there ever again, my favorite Jamaican Rest is Jamaica House they dont charge extra for cabbage with your food.
