Looks like it deserves a triple axle !
There’s a whole Lotta places where they could’ve added much more storage. Above every window should be storage. On every wall in both bathrooms should be as much storage as they could put. Also, how great would this be if it had a tip out on the other side also in the kitchen in the living room that would just be great. Plus, it could use some storage cabinets and stuff up in the beautiful aloft. Thanks for showing our love your presentation! Your friends are nice also!
Since it's a "park it and leave it" destination trailer, anyone who needs to go to the bathroom can always use one of the public bathrooms at the campground.
I always did. Even bought a lot near one for that purpose
THIS IS WHAT I LIKE -
A trailer that is not too high off the ground. Doesn’t feel as much like home when it’s too high up. Along with my own interior custom, the only things I’d wanna change are
1) keeping it at 2 stories stories tall but not actually have a 2nd story above
2) and maybe getting one that’s already 57 feet but making it low to the ground like this one if it’s high like the ones that run on the highway. Low is key.
I agree! A half bath is needed.
Wow S LOW down on the camera moving lol but other than that VERY nice destination trailer!!!
Totally agree! Missing a half bath really is a missing feature!
I would definitely live in that
I think they were trying to make this light weight and skipped on some things I'd want in a full time living destination trailer. It should have a larger 4 burner stove top, a larger convection microwave, and I'd even want a dishwasher. I'd rather this have an 15k GVWR and a third axle to have the features I'd want. Despite being a destination trailer, it seems like it's set up for short-term camping. Like a well appointed hunting lodge. I also agree about the 1/2 bath. Cut the pantry in half, slide the fridge over, slide the living room over and put the 1/2 bath against the stairs to the loft so it's right there for the kids in the loft.
I love this. But it would be a 10, if it had double pane windows, and more storage cabinets upstairs n down. A bigger stove n microwave, a dishwasher. A curtain to divide the upstairs room. A half bath would be cool. I love the kitchen and living room. I love the windows. Great for a mountain or lake view.
Impressed by your consistent hard work! Keep it up! -- "Hard work pays off.."
You had me at wine rack 😂
Loaf area is big enough add extra bedding for kids to guests. Bedroom I would flip over the washer/dryer from the closet. Easier to do your laundry for bending down not hitting the bed. The bathroom lack of storage for towels. A half bathroom would been nice with all the people camping.
Having an indoor shooting range upstairs is nice but no jacuzzi on the roof is a deal breaker.
Keep this in mind for vacation property!
With that height and the weight, you are basically towing a giant sail down the road. It's basically a light mobile home. I'm surprised the wheels don't have quick disconnects.
Really pretty though. ***Why don't the manufacturers put a 'vertical' slide to lift the roof of the loft another 3 feet or so?!? Kids could stand up, and it could be lowered whenever you needed to travel (and the RV is already very light for it's size).***
Very nice RV
Whoa that is pretty big. Love your videos
I just LOVE this Recreational vehicle.
Curious about cost, value.
I just wanted to say I recently discovered your channel and I'm loving the content you put out!
Not enough carrying capacity. Should have 8,000 axels and G rated tires because they might be needed to get to your destination. If this is your home away from home, you will probably have a lot of stuff to carry, including outside furniture, hobby gear, etc. Also, not enough clothes storage in the master bedroom. I think a split bath with a shower in the middle would be great...a private master toilet and sink and the same for guests. Too many windows for heating and air-conditioning. This rv us off to an interesting start but needs lots of tweaks
i like the size of this model.. however, they seemed to have given the bathroom a last thought. it's like way small for the sheer size of this model
I agree. With how large the living space is, they could’ve cut another foot for the bathroom. Or like OP said in the video, adding a half bath.
This seems to be a women problem. Fine with me
I have this unit and I love it. I get a lot of pointing and waving.
I would have given this an 8.5. The reason I’m giving it a point lower is because of the loft. They give you a humongous loft with only 2 of those small mattress pads with the little bears on them and nothing else. Other destination trailers that I’ve seen have little storage shelves with the storage baskets/organizers, double the mattress pads, and I think that they should have split the loft space up either by a divider or by putting a small loft on one side of the trailer and another small one on the other side of the trailer. Just because they are kids doesn’t mean they don’t like to have some privacy from each other too. But other than the loft, I love the rest of it.
Go AJ. That loft area is HUGE
It’s very nice. You could bring lots of people. But 1 bathroom ! And I don’t think the a/c can keep up . I also give it a 6 .
Ok so for the size and that it’s more of a park model would have expected a larger oven maybe since it has other windows maybe not the window behind the tv so that and the fireplace have a wall of their own and a king bed I would give this a 7
Above the fridge??? Horrible place for wine ... heat rises & ruins it. I think once he put a mattress & bedding in the loft, he might have a hard time sitting up in it. But it is a huge space & would be perfect for small kids! I would rather see more dresser drawers in the bedroom than a desk and more cabinet space in the living room (a tad smaller windows & more storage would be better for me ... Storage, storage, storage! Love the huge pantry!
The point about something this big only having 1 full bath is huge. But not only is it just 1 full bath, the toilet isn't in its own private closet so people can use that while someone else might be showering/cleaning up. It's a very bottlenecked single bathroom for such a big trailer. I have a shorter 5W that has 2 fulls in it so this longer park model only having 1 is a pretty big negative. Neither of my bathrooms have the toilet in its own private closet, either, but I still have 2 fully operational bathrooms that can be used simultaneously.
I give it a 10. If someone needs to use the potty that bad just go outside and pee on a tree 😂
It needs a 3rd AC. I like you have a bunkhouse model that gets absolutely no ac! I bet that loft has ac vents but does the bedroom?
I love the pantry, I'd say no to the half bath
You're camping, venture outside to the bathroom if neccessary or make you an outdoor shower area. It would be cool if they made some type of fold out shower area on rv's. Something maybe you just shower with the bathing suit on.
very nice
I give a 7.5 as well. Yes for a integrated half bath and also with a included dishwasher and more closer space for the master bedroom, more storage.
nice
Should have full size insignia stove/oven.
The loft definitely needed more storage. I suppose one could add their own furniture.
I would have preferred a better entertainment center and smaller windows. This is a destination trailer, there will be TV time.
I like the mud room I saw in another trailer. You need a place to dump shoes, keys, backpack, coats by the door. Right into the kitchen doesn't work for me.
And a half bath. I live in a 1 bathroom house and it does get annoying.
No issues except the lack of a half bath as you pointed out. I would opt for a larger TV and a fireplace in the living room and convert the lower countertop section into one that flips up.
Definitely! It just don't look right at all
That sink is called a "Farmhouse Sink".
I loved the space, perfect for full time living, but don't like the loft and really needs half bathroom.
😆🤣@ coffee maker!
JD. great content. Enjoy your channel. It seems that you have upgraded your cameras and there is great resolution. Maybe too much so. The increased resolution has (I think) exacerbated panning because it seems to induce motion sickness. May want to take a look at that and consider a more stable panning technique or perhaps less. Thanks! Keep up the good work.
Thank goodness it wasn't just me! And quickly going back n forth in the bedroom , omgee I couldn't handle it!
Im curious of the quality of materials with this rig coming in under 13k lbs dry... Time will tell but its beautiful inside. Thanks as always for the content!!! 😁
with that much space they could have put another room and attached that bathroom to the master
How tall exactly is SUPER SUPER TALL, as a truck driver i regularly see newbie rv people forget that dimensions and weight are paramount if your planning on towing the towable rv
you never disappoint on your videos
Nice presentation! Been a while, since I've watched your videos. Still like them though. Thanks.
Some RV layouts work well for some buyers but not others. I agree, a half bath would be a great plus. However, at this price point and what it offers, the "pros" definitely outweigh the "cons." It also makes it hard to decide if one was to be looking at the Wildwood and Salem Views. I'm getting closer to deciding which Destination trailer I am going to buy and this a contender. The only way I wouldn't go with this is if I went with a Riverstone with a front Kitchen.
I actually think that there are way too many windows. It seems like it would be nice from the outside but when you get inside it's kind of disappointing. Not too much storage and a lot of wasted space. It does need some slide outs. Plus those lofts have not enough headroom. If I was a kid I wouldn't like it a bit. So thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
That loft is taller than most rv lofts
I think those 2 big awnings would be useful in hot weather to shade that wall of windows, but in cold weather you could roll them up and soak up all the sun you can get
I like the living room area with the sectional and two chairs, but I don’t like the location or appearance of the tv and fireplace. I think they should rearrange the windows and place an entertainment type unit in front of the couch with the tv and fireplace. I understand these destination trailers are made to be more cost efficient, but this is intended to be a vacation home so why not put a full size microwave and oven?
The loft is awesome as it gives you a huge area for kids to use as a playroom for toys, etc, or you can put a lot of kids up there with additional mattresses. I like the two glass doors which opens up the view. I think this has the largest living room than any destination unit I’ve seen!
Very nice , kinda would like to see a model with a pop up roof system above the lofts and something hardshell
Wow this is absolutely beautiful. This is 5X bigger than my whole apartment lol. I could live in this full time. Love it ❤ with the microwave, I am 5’4. , could I reach.?
missing more slides. With no slides on one side, falls far short of comparing to the RiverStone
This would be great as a park model that doesn't move. Moving it? No thanks. LOL
Any chance someone can go into the loft again? I'd like to see the bed area back there. Is it separated with a wall? Also does it slope downwards in there?
I really wish they would have done the dual opposing slides you get in the fifth wheels with the rear living area, it makes such a difference to have that 14 foot wide space with all that room around the center island.
I dont like the glass doors, I think of being in the woods at night and a bear or big foot, lol, out there can break it
I still think the Keystone you posted is the best loft unit on the market at this time.
Giant Aquarium! The biggest challenge would be obtaining the perfect spot so all those windows provide the best view of mountains or a lake. With all that glass you were careful not to show yourself in any reflection, good job. Yep, needs a half bath. I think the wood areas should be a darker slate color to match up with the plethora of dark window frames. Definitely perfect for a weekend getaway for a big group with lots of kids romping around over the master bedroom. Zero privacy for any adult guests to sleep on that sectional. No exterior walkaround? . .
I'm surprised that it's over 40ft long and isn't a triple tandem axle setup. Maybe it's due to the low weight relative to the size?
I’m sure you need to use lots of propane-battery juice to keep it insulated in the winter or cool in the summer due to the large windows. This rig is so big, nothing to move around every other weekend or month. You set it somewhere and it’s there for months on end. Windows should be tinted because you don’t want an invasion of privacy everywhere… well, the blinds help. Lol
I like the size. Definitely needs more storage space. I have seen smaller ones with way more space in the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. The pantry is a good size.
I'd have to give this about a 3 for a RV and a 7 for using it as an office. For me, dragging that thing down the road on a tongue hitch, would be a nightmare. I think a trailer this big should be a 5th wheel unless it is a park model.
It is a park model, destination trailer. You park it and leave it
I like it but I would want a bigger Tv prob have to mount somewhere for at least a 60-70" tv if I lived in this full time!!!
Looks like a great unit....however, why place the entry door to the bathroom across the hall from the double sliding glass door? I would have moved the sliding glass door back to enter into the living space. How about adding a residential kitchen range instead of the 3 burner RV range?
2:15 It's YOSHI!!
Sliding glass doors are bad enough in brick and mortar houses. I would never want one, let alone 2 sliding glass doors in an RV!
It seems like they should have full size oven and stove top for the size of the unit. Looks like plenty of space.
I'd ditch the TV and put in a nicer fireplace. I'd ditch the fireplace in the primary room and put in more storage. The loft could use more storage as well. I'd rather have more pantry than an extra bathroom 😂
Sorry I give it a 5. For a permanent structure need double or tripple pane window for winter parking. Need more kitchen storage.
6 Out'a 10 , I always appreciate the practical score from those that are living their brand. I niavely wouldv'e got carried away with the 1st impression Shock & Awe & given a false high score. Designers , please try seperate toilet & shower much more often incl most smaller models.
😊
Also whats the msrp? Or asking price?
I am wondering what is under the stairway. That seems to be a lost space. Yes, in an RV that is this big with sleeping space for kids, a half-bath would be a must. I'd give it a 6.5 as it is and with a half bath probably an 8.
It doesn't look like there's any towel storage in the bathroom. You didn't spend a hell of a lot of time. In there it's just quick in and out.
To many windows in my opinion
They can be switched out. With a different type of glass. But I like where your heads at.
If it was bulletproof or reinforced in some way with tint I would not mind it
It needs more closet space in the master bedroom. I don't see any place for any one what to sleep besides the lofts.
1000% agree with JD here. These destinations and massive 5th Wheels sleeping 6-11 people and only offer one toilet? I don’t get it. Also the awkward living setup, small fridge, and 3 burner stove for such a large unit with a large pantry seems to me to be a huge miss.
I like this model but would like to see other floor plans. I agree about the 1/2 bath but would like to see a nicer kitchen in a destination model. To me they really went as cheap as possible on the kitchen and kitchen layout. I wouldn’t buy it just because the kitchen seemed to be barely a thought and used whatever cheap laminate wood they had lying around the shop. Destination trailers should have nice kitchens being that is what will be used the most.
I wish they add another bathroom and the kitchen is less storage.
I thought there should be another bath too
I think i would've dropped in a slightly wider stove
A 7 is pushing it. The design had good intentions, but missed the mark. No room to the right side of the stove would really stink for cooking in there. Some nice storage in the kitchen but the top side cabinets are a waste these guys are tall and not sure they could reach them. The refrigerator is in an odd spot with the way the island is. The layout in the living room feels horribly off. All the weight is to one side and most likely a nightmare to pull on any roads other than straight. The master doesn't have the good closet people expect from this level of and rv. The loft is nice but unless you have 4+ kids seems a bit awkward to get to the back of it. The bathroom was ok , but totally agree it should have had at least a 1/2 bath in there. They could have lost those recliners and put one between the sofa and stairs. A bench seat or something down that wall would have made it less cheap looking, the tv looks like a miniature alone on that large wall. But that's just my opinion.
"...likely a nightmare to pull on any roads other than straight."
You realize this is a "park it and leave it" unit, right? You're not towing this all over the countryside making multiple stops.
Last time I checked you still have to get it to the spot before you can park it.@@johnpalmer3848
Thats amazing, but i have one question and one question only.
Y tho?
I really expected a much larger kitchen for a massive destination like this. I'm a bit disappointed
I like a central kitchen 2 bedroom 2 bath
That guy wants a bike rack, but it’s a bumper pull. Put them in the truck.
Over time with all those big windows and heat those windows will explode
Cool concept, but much of this RV doesn’t seem super thought out. And the finishes look very old school to me.
Didn’t see the bathroom. Not sure I love it.
The loft is virtually unusable if you don’t have kids
I don't think I would want to pull that down the road.
All those windows seems like a waste of space to me, I like how big the RV is but some of the space could be used in a more efficient way.
The desk needs to GO
The kitchen should been bigger
Me - a 7
I don’t like how there making the beds lower
