Locklear's exit velos in AAA look decent though and has a chance to stick in the lineup IMO if he keeps that K rate controlled like you guys mentioned. 2/3 batted balls were already considered hard hit (1 barrel). Lines up with his AAA batted balls on baseball savant (albeit 40 AB sample size)... .444 xwOBA and 12.5 barrel/PA%, .315xBA....seems like he's flying under the radar but rose quickly this year in the minor leagues. Agreed on watching his whiff rates, but everyone Ks on the Mariners right now lol, so if he can still hit the ball hard and get on base he may stick around.

Amador is coming off hamate surgery last August so I think he should be cut some slack for his performance earlier this season.

For real, they’re talking about him as a bullpen option in the future lol. I love these guys but what. He was drafted in the first round LAST YEAR and this was his first start. Let’s pump the brakes boys.

These ridiculous MLB rule changes by Rob Manfred represent the most serious crisis that has ever beset Major League Baseball- and the game of baseball itself- that has occured in the entire history of the game. Not only are the rule changes a clear example of CULTURAL GENOCIDE- the impetus of the rule changes were done without proper input by BOTH fans AND experienced baseball professionals. Instead- these rules were motivated by a perverse desire to mutate the game for the sake of big money gambling interests. And if that werent enough(!) MLB Inc. is now back in the collusion business with All Stars like Bauer, Longoria, Belt and Puig blacklisted in the exact same way as Barry Bonds.
I admit this is all more than a bit overwhelming. Nonetheless, this is something that needs to be addressed in a proactive way by everybody around the world who truly loves this game. Or at least immediately after Trumpito gets his ass handed to him this November👈
