      Thank you and glad you enjoyed it! It's funny because the lyrics are quite chirpy and happy, but the tune itself is almost melancholic. :)

      Thank you, Mark! This is one of those many traditional Catalan songs Llobet did *not* arrange. Instead, it was made popular by Pau Casals, who used to play it in concerts and often said it was a prelude to his desire for "peace" in the world. He played it at the White House several times. But it has also been arranged by other Spanish composers, like Federico Mompou, in one of his Cançons i danses. And I know of at least two great classical guitar arrangements: one by Emilio Pujol and another by Graciano Tarragó (the father of the great Renata Tarragó). You should look up the lyrics -- they're marvelous. Merry Christmas! -Dave B
