Roll on Saturday morning as I’ll be up nice and early to get sorted so I can get comfortable to watch the British military doing the thing that they are the best at doing 👏👏👏👏💂💂♂️
Hello Patricia, do you know what the tune with the bagpipes starting at about 2:38 is called? I had a guess at it trying to help someone else, but I'm not sure if I got it right!
@@damianthomas7489 Thanks Damian for getting back quickly. I guess what I should have asked is, with the first of these Company marches (I believe there are 3 or 4 in the overall arrangement), on what folk tune or popular tune is it based? I have heard the particular tune somewhere else, in a totally different context. I had thought it sounded like The Star of the County Down.
I’ve clearly stated this is the colonels review in the description, plus I have released it before th actual day of the troop, so it would be impossible for this to be the troop! I do appreciate your effort to call out clickbait because there is a big problem with that in the military filming community these days!
@@militaryevents107 I admit that "click-baiting" was a tad strong and have edited the post to refer as "misleading". No-one sees the description until *after* they click the title however. ☺ It's still an excellent video. 👌
Hello Jerry, it's the last part of the march "Through Bolts and Bars" by Ernst Urbach. The march itself is playing right from the beginning of the video.
@@jerrydowse5061 Hello again Jerry, if it helps, this is a very good (in my view!) recording of the march, but played by a brass band not a military band:- czcams.com/video/5OElmSMNPnk/video.html
Short and sweet. Very enjoyable. Thank you
Beautiful 😊 perfection with wonderful music 🎶
I'm an American, but I love this so much!

Under all that pomp and ceremony they are true fighting soldiers.

Absolutely 💎 diamond ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This is *not* THE trooping despite the misleading title. It's the Colonels Review from 5 days ago. The parade is on Saturday 15 June 2024!
