- Quick video on a trick I found to get perfect cut lines that will help you with proper fitment of your mini tubs on first gen Camaros and Firebirds.
After mini hours scratching my head wondering why my tub wouldn't go in straight I figured I could use a laser to see exactly where my cutline needed to be and it worked out perfect. I hope this helps someone on their project too! - Komedie
Great tip , starting mini tub work on my 69 , thanks
No problem! Honestly not a hard job at all. Just a decent amount of time. Best of luck!
Much appreciated for the video. I'm about to start my mini tub on my 67 firebird
Anytime! How is it coming along? I was honestly surprised how easy it was just alot of time, time, and time!
Really awesome tip appreciate the video!
Great tip! Show the fitment
Everything fit up perfect. Car is actually painted and mostly done now.
So I got a roadster shop chassis ordered for my 1969 camaro. Should I wait to have the body on the frame before I put in mini tubs or should I do it without a frame so I don’t have to worry about cutting frame?
Id say that's a question for roadster shop. There chassis compared to the stock frame rails is completely different. But I would imagine that there chassis is narrowed through that section to accommodate wider tires since it is a performance chassis so I don't think you will need to notch their chassis.
