It's not shady, the dude that sent them to him probably opened it, they are getting sent back to the guy.
I picked them up at Warzone. I guess the guy opened a few before hand. Kinda disappointing. I didn't realize a few packs are already opened until later on in the video.

Aw man, this takes me back. Started playing with some cards I got from a friend around the Masks block, bought my first starter deck and packs when Apocalypse was the newest set in standard. Seeing you open these takes me down memory lane 😍
My first opened pack was an Odissey and i got the famous "finkel" 1/3 fear when hit opponent you draw. Great value back in the days... to many nostalgia 🤤
I absolutely love old openings. I’ve actually been saving up for a very long time now and coming Christmas. My birthday gift to myself I am going to buy and open a box of Champions of Kamigawa
My first opening was a fourth edition starter. I remember getting fungusaur for 1 of the rares, don't remember the other. My first pack was Alliances. I pull a Balduvian Horde, which was the chase card and also a Force of Will from that pack. The Horde everyone was oohing and awwing about no one carded about Force of Will then.
I wasn't around or wasn't into magic when these released so seeing the older days of this great hobby of mine is a great time, thanks moss boss

First pack was Aether Revolt, pulled Ajani, Valiant Protector, he was in my first deck, that I still use with my friends from time to time
My first pack was from Eldrich Moon, I pulled a Decimatior of the Provences, my buddy Max called it "beginner's luck." Super excited to get my claws on some Commander Legends
I wish sets now had the storyline like the old sets had. I miss Karn, Weatherlight, Gerard, etc. I miss the storyline and flavor text on the cards. Great vid as always.
Me to. The Tempest block was my favorite! I can still name pretty much everyone from it!
The flavor text on the old cards were better written than some books in my opinion
@@MegaMania91 I agree. It was part of the magic, no pun intended, of looking at the cards. The artwork, the flavor text, the storyline drew the player into the game. Almost like you were there as part of the game. I miss those days

First pack I have ever opened was in an amonkhet planes walker deck. It was so fun

The first pack I opened was amonket, I will forever love that set.
My first pack actually came out of an m19 builders kit, where I pulled an ajani, adversary of tyrants. I was so excited to be able to pull pull my first planeswalker and immediatly build a deck around him
My first pack was from one of those Walmart triple packs. Had Future Sight, Ravnica and a Core set pack . Pulled Akroma's Memorial that I still have today in my Elves EDH deck
Always fun to watch old packs, also, first pack aether revolt and I got a planar bridge
Funny you stopped around mercadian, that's when I moved from the revised cards my uncle gave me and started buying boosters on my own. Those were the days!!
Timespiral/Timeshifted was an awesome set back in the day. The color pie chaos was great!
I know I'm late to answer this but my first mtg anything I ever opened was a elspeth vs kiroa duel deck set and still have both of them, love both decks so much
First Package i've ever opened was from Innistrad and i was rewarded with a beautiful Snapcaster Mage.. OMG :D
My first was a 7th edition starter deck box I opened. And there was this foil thorn elemental in it which was the coolest card ever.
We had Homelands and Fallen empire selling for less than $1.00 some 25 years ago
My first pack was M14 back when it came out. Pulled an Archangel of Thune and a foil Mutavault out of the same pack
First cards I ever opened was an Odyssey tournament pack. Booster pack was Torment. The tournament pack had a foil Cabal Patriarch in it, and I thought it must have been an awesome pull since he was depicted on the box. Booster pack had a Mutilate in it. Black has always been my favorite Magic color for some reason.
First pack i ever opened from prophecy had an Avatar of Fury. Was hooked from there on out.
Battle for zendikar was the first pack i ever opened and i pulled the nissa vastewood sier. The one that flipped into a planswalker.
I have a deck, that uses Stone rain with dingus egg. Well.... other fun card's as well😉. Super fun deck to play.👍

My first pack was 15 card bulk repack off the internet (it had disintergrate and thran forge, stuff from around that era) that I got for free for registering my email. They used to give them free in person too.
First set I opened was M15. Pulled a Chain Veil and gave it away. Had no clue at the time how good that was. Lol
First pack was Mercadian Masques. Pulled a Rishadan Port but as a new player I didn't know it was any good.
First pack I remember opening is Mirage. Such fond memories!
My two most favorite blocks were the Tempest block and the Time Spiral block. Main reason for the Time Spiral block was it brought back the characters from Tempest like Gerrard, Crovax, and all them!!
That first pack was already opened. The first set I opened was a fat pack of Core2020 and I pulled an Omnath and Risen Reef after playing Temur Elementals for a coupe months prior I knew I was hooked on the game and nowadays I play mainly modern 5-color elementals and Amulet Titan, as there’s a lot of cards from M20 that can go so well into both decks. Man m20 will always be my favorite set hands down. No fancy 3-4 variants of the same card or expensive collector’s packs makes the set feel genuine and fun to open, and that experience of just opening plain ol’ magic cards open is important I think. M20’s got a lotttt of garbage bulk cards because well it’s a core set but there’s a bunch of diamonds in the rough to be found and appreciated. Risen Reef and Thunderkin Awakener have single-handedly made 5-color Elementals viable in modern. The Cavalier cycle are a blast to play in commander and cavalier of thorns is actually pretty decent in pioneer/historic Temur Elementals. Cards like Field of the Dead and Veil of Summer have even been played in powerful formats like Legacy and Modern. Elvish Reclaimer has become a key piece in that variant of Primeval Titan decks in modern.
First pull, commander 2019 deck. Started learning about magic since last augustus and I'm hooked. It's been an expensive ride. I do need fellow players to play with or help me sort out my landfall deck :p
First pack I ever cracked was War of the Spark. Pulled both a Liliana Dreadhorde and a foil God Eternal Oketra in it. Never really had interest in cracking packs up until that day
My first pack was Tempest 🌩 got a whole box for Christmas the year it was released 🎁 don't remember the first hit out the box but so many good cards in that set! 🤓

I started at the end of New Phyrexia. My first pack was also a starter deck.
First pack I ever opened was a 7th edition pack. I started playing when I was 9 years old. Shame that I lost all my old 7the cards though they had so much personal value.
My first Pack was a mono white starter deck. It was really terrible. It was really awesome when my brother gave me his old cards and I built a shelf tribal deck that beat my friend Angel deck. Got lost after I quit in 2009

Born of the Gods was my first set and my first pack cracked I pulled a Kruphix, have been loyal to him ever sense! Lol
My first set too. I pulled xenagos and I've been a gruul player ever since. Kruphix is fun too. I built him as well. The gods are sweet
I remember Mercadian Masques feeling like complete garbage after the Urza cycle. Invasion was so AWESOME though!

First pack I ever bought was urzas saga. I remember that day. I bought 6 packs at a collector store in Pittsburgh. First pack had a card Called Gaea's cradle or something. I think its a rare.
And with those 6 packs I got the "special delivery" I think urza saga broke magic the gathering. And was the whole turning point for the whole of magic the gathering. It always was and will be my favorite set
