- ☞ 👀 Yes if you visit Lynchburg Tennessee you are probably there to visit Jack Daniels Distillery but what you didn't know is there is a historical place to eat at Mary Bobo's just off the city square. With a quick 2-minute walk you will be right in the middle of the town with some great charm. We were able to check out many Jack Daniels items made and sold in the shops. Check out the historic Jail with a history spanning decades. We then took our time at the Distillery to do our tour. It was a fabulous day hanging out in Lynchburg.

Proof you don't have to be the biggest organization to be the most popular. I don't really drink but a little Jack Fire every now and then is 2 thumbs up
The double decker banana moon pie is the bomb 💣 😮
A 50's vibe town would be so cool ! Drive-in movie a nice diner just think how cool that would be !!
I’m late to this video but the grin on his face when he found out he was getting some moon pies….. that was precious! You two just make a heart so happy.
Gotta be one of my relatives!!! So awesome to see the Bobo name!
What a great “take us along” video. Always enjoy them and the unique content you bring us. Jail museums, Metal ice cube trays, moon pies, and whiskey fudge! Cheers from KC! ~lisa b.
I grew up in the house right up the hill from the Bobos! You can see it in this video. Such an awesome place. My papa worked as the CFO of Jack Daniels for 45 years, Ray McEwen. I have so many wonderful memories of this place. I miss it a lot! Can’t wait to go back. ❤
Moon pie?! Yes!! One of each!!
Switch Town should have the best rv service department ever! No waiting, everything fixed right the first time, where all your service dreams come true😊
Well I was actually thinking of like a realistic town - now you’re just being silly 😂
Crew Town sounds like fun as long as you guys are our fearless leaders ... and there's whitewater rafting nearby!🤣
Too soon too soon lol
Yes, I remember those ice trays. I like that my refrigerator makes it for me now.
Much faster!
My wife and I just left Louisville Kentucky yesterday. While we were there we visited James Beam distillery, Makers Mark and Buffalo Trace. Makers Mark was the best tour and we believe the best Bourbon. In Nashville today at two rivers campground. They have live music here every night and it's about 15 min from the main drag and all the singin and drinkin joints. They also have shuttles from here.
I had that kind of ice trays growing up too! 😊
If you buy a town you could teach everyone how to change leaf springs(lol). Really enjoy your travels and thanks for sharing
Lol 😂 Todd has gotten that down pretty well - almost could do it like a NASCAR race
I really enjoy your videos. If you had a town I would do a 70s throwback. The drive ins, bowling alleys without electronic scoring, malt shops, old hardware stores like Ace used to be. This video is making more motivated to try and find a way to visit some of these places. I would love to be able to afford even a class B mobile home for me and my wife but you don't get rich off SSA Disability. I doubt my dream will ever come true so until then I will live my life through your eyes. Thank you for your videos and if you ever come to St Louis let me know. Stay safe!
Yes…I remember using those aluminum ice trays! 1961 I entered this world to two lovely parents and an older brother!
You could have all the huddles in your town!😊
You're are correct. I remember using those ice trays.
Yes, a crew’s town!
I remember those ice cube trays!!!😂
Great video as always!!
Yep, used those ice trays! Lots of memories of things from my childhood.😁
Crews Town! Love it! Also have never seen a metal ice cube tray in my life...😉
Now Sandy …..
🤣🤣🤣
I only live about an hour away from there. Been many times. Glad you had a good time
Crew town. The residential area would be rv spots. Winery, distillery, NRVTA RV parts stores, Todd's Snack Shoppe, Sheila's Adventure Shoppe, the rv spots check in could be an old town courthouse and a Moot around the courthouse.
Now there are some great ideas for Crewtown!
Oh, yes, we used those ice trays growing up. The family style eating style eating was interesting. I have experienced that in a couple of places before. The food look delicious. Question is, did Sheila like collards? Thanks for another very interesting video.
Moon Pies and Lucky Charms!!!!
Sugar overload!! Lol
Banana Moon Pies!!!! As far as a town...lots of local crafts....local foods....of course restaurants and ummm...bars...and like you said....an epic RV park!! When does it open??????
Lol it all starts with a dream first - by reading these comments I think we are a crew of dreamers 💭
Cool little town, been there several times on the bikes!
In your town you could have a boat ride attraction where little crabs could fall out of the tree branches overhead and throughout the town screams could be heard!
🤣
Love Lynchburg been there, want to go back, great video.
Thanks for watching
Those ice cube trays full of HI-C all summer and into the fall...
C4YT = Safe Travels 🍀🍀🍀. Yep we used those ice trays too….
Another awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
We ❤ the grew...
Yes, we had those ice cube trays
Like Hamilton MO, become quilter’s town. And have RV parks and cabins and quaint restaurants.
Yes - that would be cool
If you bought a town you could build a factory to bring back snacks that have been discontinued. Snacks like Nabisco Heyday Bars, Reggie! Bar, and Oreo Big Stuff Cookies.
Buying a town?! Check out Missouri star quilt co in Hamilton, Missouri. The whole town and most shops have been revitalized for the quilting industry. Great story and as an RV quilter…great place to go! Richard’s wife…Pennylane
I just visited Hamilton this summer. I’m a huge MSQ fan and the town was adorable.
@@elenasmith5947 isn’t it though?! See much fabric see little time! Lol
Hello from Romania Europe
We did... not sure how we survived back then without ice makers 🙂
I'm with you Todd, not much for S'mores but love me a good Moon Pie! Great video! We need to go take that tour!
Crews town with adventures kayaking, paddleboard, hiking, and various places with Todd history and Shiela'a history. Church services on sunday with the option of outdoor services on nice days And some nice restaurants.
This sounds like a place I’d like to go!
Great Adventures !!
What should you have?
TREE CRABS!
Lots and LOTS of tree crabs!
Lol we could import them from the Everglades
Switch it up 🥃🥃🥃 style 💚💚💚!
Hey Chad! Thanks friend
Your town would be known for Todd History and great camping!!
And snack shacks on every corner
Every man’s dream, finding a snack your wife doesn’t like !!!
I totally had those ice cube trays. They were horrible! They were sharp too!!!
Love your adventures! Keep them coming! Sure hope to meet you guys someday!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment t
Yes we grew up using those ice tray's!!!!
Crew town would have the best Bigfoot chase event - oh and rides on "the horse with no name" in the park "Winslow Arizona" and you have to wait on the corner!
Yep we had those ice cube trays😅
I remember those ice cube trays
I remember the ice cube days from when I was a kid.
Can’t wait to visit there.
Beautiful little town
Definitely used those metal ice trays. I preferred filling those over the plastic one because you didn't have to move it around under the faucet to fill each cube. Hated touching the metal handle and hated the mess they made. Banana Moonpies....delicious. Crew town...we're in!!! Crewtown could focus on mom and pop shops. Grocery with a deli counter where we could get a bologna and cheese sandwich for lunch. Ma's Kettle restaurant for fried chicken and all the fixins'. A five and dime for everything else.
Sounds like the beginning of a great town!!
Hi from the EMAHIZERS!!!!!
We used the same ice cube tray when we were kids. Funny to see them in antique stores.
Bigfoot store & Moon pie store 😂
Buy a town cant wait!
It all starts with a dream :-) but wouldn't that be cool??
I believe Schitt‘s Creeks up for sale!
RC cola Columbus Ga. and Moon Pie Chattanooga Tn. used to be the thing many moons ago. But I’m not a Moon Pie or S’ Mores eater either. Shelia we are in you home state Junction City had the alignment and maintenance done on ours Independent suspension at New Horizon. Really nothing much just do here a little depressed. Going to Unlimited RV in Independence Mo. because we having a problem with one of the schwinteck slide. Hope you guys enjoyed our home state at the Huddle.
Yes Kansas doesn’t have a lot of activity things for sure-
Metal ice trays blast from the past along with RC cola and moon pie didn’t have all those flavors back then
Toddsville, USA
love your shades Todd
Thanks!
Oh yes on the kool-aid in those ice trays. Good times.
Yes, those metal ice trays were hard to crack open, but they did freeze fairly quickly.
Oh yeah that’s a good point - never thought about how the plastic ones probably took longer
I'm pretty sure I've never had a moon pie, but I like whiskey, sounds like I need to try one!
Great video as always, ya'all make me laugh always, such a great couple..god bless, take care..love Peggy
I used those icecube trays
I am not a fan of smore's, but I do like moon pies. Yes Shiela, I know it doesn't make sense. LOL
No S’mores? 😱😱😱
The fan was powered by the car and it blew over ice to cool the air. Not very good but maybe Shelia would approve 😂
LOL yes. I'm ice cube tray old
Lol 😂
Hey Guys, enjoy your channel and content. Was wondering if you would consider putting a note into your videos (perhaps near the beginning) that defines the dates you filmed the content. What we see sometimes doesn't appear to match the current season and when planning for future trips your vdo can be a good reference especially when looking at the calendar. This Lynchburg vdo content is a good example. When were you there? Thx for considering
Good thought- we are usually about 2 weeks out on our content we were in Lynchburg in September- if we get further out than that this is a good thing to consider - we really just try to bring you along in the moment we are in within a couple weeks - sometime days lol 😆
The town would have to have a “Todd’s Crab Shack”.
Lol that’s a good one
Cool
We both remember those ice trays. Laura said the same thing about fingers freezing just before Sheila did.
For the "cruise town", need storytellers, fake history museum, picnic tables with seatbelts, bigfoot neighborhood, police dressed as T-Rex, RV superstore with lots of technicians, and a sign that says "Crabs not welcome". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Loved your video, I agree with Sheila moon pies are nasty. Was wondering why your videos for some reason are kinda shaky and jerky, idk.
We shoot in a vlog style so just holding the camera as we walk and talk- we are not a “production” type using a gimble - we will try to be more mindful of this
You need to try Hattie B’s Nashville hot chicken.
Nice job
Y'all were in my hometown I wish I knew
Fun place!
@@SwitchItUpLife I wish I knew y'all was here would have gave you the directions to Rutledge Falls
We had those metal trays when I was a kid. Your Switch it Up town would not be complete without a costume store.
True - I wonder if Todd would be the only one shopping there??
I Love collard greens but my family eats them with mayonnaise in them it takes the bitter taste out
25:49 It's like that episode of I Love Lucy, but someone's gonna pass out.
I used them 😅.
We had those ice trays growing up. So Todd has switched from Little Debbie cakes to Moon Pies??
There seems to be a theme - squishy sugary cakes seem to be his thing
👋☺️
Buffalo Trace is the oldest distillery in the US. 😉🥃
Nice video! Did they say anything about the problems the town is having with all the black mold from the distillery?
Did not hear anything bout that but it would make sense coming from all those barrels
@@SwitchItUpLife yes, apparently it gets really bad. Will send you an article on Instagram messenger, don’t think I can post a link here.
OK, how were the Collar Greens??? if you buy a town, you need a barber....I just raised my hand!! And the town would be known for bringing people together, bringing back "We the People" !!
I think it’s a DRY town right? Looks Fun!
Yes, used the ice trays! Fingers stuck to the tray.
I used those ice trays! The ice cubes would stick to my fingers. Ouch, and kool-aid and bologna.
We just went to the mon pie shop a month ago.
The first one was old and very dry. I took the 2nd knee and put it on a plate in in the microwave for 5 seconds and it turned into a gourmet dessert. You have to eat it with a fork though. You HAVE TO TRY THIS.
Ok lol a moon pie turned gourmet sounds worth a shot
I’m assuming there will be a moat around this town of yours. 😊❤️
Like a lazy river style? That would be fun
I used those ice trays. Did you get me a coin at the HD store? We need a moon bounce.
I think there is a town for sale in Texas
so were you a fan of the collard greens? I like mine with some vinegar and maybe some bacon bits in them.
Never had collard greens? For real? You haven’t lived until you’ve had them with hot sauce 😋
Thanks for watching- collard greens and hot sauce? Well does that remove the bitter taste? Cuz they are pretty bitter!
@@SwitchItUpLife my wife cooks them in hot sauce, white wine, soy sauce and garlic. It’s a Justin Wilson Cajun collards recipe and there is no bitterness.
