Richard Heinbergs work should be compulsive viewing for everyone under 30 years of age....fantastic seminar...

I am sad this has seen so little traffic. It should have much more attention than that twitting monster we have to hear all the time.

So true. Same with Guy McPherson, Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein, and dozens of others who tell the truth about the existential crises we are facing. Why isn't this part of the political conversation? It totally undermines the pillars of our economic system. So here we go off the cliff while the stock market surges. The world, in short, is totally insane.

Richard reminds me of a real life Harry Seldon from the Foundation series books!

Not Dead ( for Hank Stamper)
A used surgical mask lay in the street
    of my residential neighborhood.
    It could be described like
    William Carlos William's
    broken glass*
    A remnant of a day & age
    i can't rightly explain.
Neil Young once said that when He is walked along the street and someone has there window rolled down and they were singing:
"Rockin' in the Free World" or "Harvest" It made Him feel as though He'd made a significant connection.
I want Public Utility Workers to quote my words.
Walt Whitman to wind through my neighborhood
    -like a great Wind whipping
    through a canyon
    No more Steve Bannon
    only English Canon
They are despicable people in a Feudal System
& Hank Stamper has his middle finger high in the air.
    -Umpqua river
    -Chamberlain Basin*
    -Places of resistance
Every one is preparing for death but I've never felt more alive.
I want to wake up William Stafford
and get Robert Bly to cry.
I want to take that used surgical mask
and find a way to recycle it.
-Find a way to use it as the basis of the next story and Century
I want to kick somebodies ass
-make love to a Thorough-bred because i'm not dead.
