Glenn Healy was a hero to me in my childhood. I was a goalie from a modest income, Cole Harbour family where there was turmoil and no father. I met him when I was twelve years old at a Golf Tourney in Oakfield Nova Scotia, August 1992. We took a picture together and I had the presense of mind to ask him about his blocker hand injury. I saw on Sports Desk that he had actually lost part of a finger from an incident in practice. I was a small kid at twelve. I remember he playfully grabbed the brim of my hat. He left an impression on me. *Fast forward to March 9th 1994 . Rangers/Caps.neutral site game. I had miraculously scored a ticket to sit directly behind the New York Rangers Bench, right next to where they walk out onto the ice. This was the Cup year for that team. I sat and I observed. The men I marveled at in Sports Desk highlight reels and hockey cards were again right up in front of me. Early in the first period Mr Healy came to the bench and was getting his skate worked on by a trainer..... I held up the picture of he and I and ......honest to god he winked at me. That type of acknowledgment from a bonafied and ON the JOB, NHL goaltender in that era was very surreal . Etched permanently in my mind. I remember it to this very day. Thank you Mr Healy if you are reading this.
Healy just feeding RA right from the start is hilarious hahhahahah
Healy calling Whit' 'Ray' & shreddin' RA a new one
Freakin love Glenn Healey, bring him back asap.
one of the best interviews yet. Healy is 100% right about bringing more personality to the game, which is exactly what you guys are doing
These whole interviews are evidence enough to do more. Bring on more of the greats, lunch pails, thumpers & suitcases. You guys are hitting it out of the park with these.
Glenn is a class act, hes always been one. A real character. I nominate him to tale over for Don Cherry. Thank you Glenn for our cup in 94.
Kovalev out for 12 mins just loving the game and all its opportunities
I did some work at Glenn's house east of Toronto last summer. He was working on something in the garage, said hello and continued on. Nice place.

Keep em coming. i could and have been listening to you guys all day then zooming with guys i played with and rehashing the old stories.
Absolutely the best one I've seen so far. This topped the Maroon/Janssen interview, and that's saying a lot. I didn't know Glenn Healy was so funny.
What an Awesome interview!
Holy $hit, wow what an interview boys. That was awesome!
The middle men? No. Top shelf. You guys have brought out the soul of hockey. In many ways, expanding on why we love this game. It's all about the people, including the guy that picks up the towels.
Biz expected the “that was my GPA” line to kill and it just bombed so hard
healy seemed like a real dink taking shots at RA the whole time.
"2200 in the 80s is close to a million now" classic biz math
This is the best of all of the interviews so far .. absolutely hilarious. Healy taking the PISS out of all of them ..in good humour
Fucking excellent interview, I know it's been up for a while but just watched and was not disappointed.
