- Welcome back to the channel! This week on DHG we are bringing you the beautiful Cleeve Hill Golf Club, located in the Cotswolds, right above the Cheltenham Racecourse.
In this video, Myself, Bernie, Paul and Gilly will be playing a 6 6 6 betterball match swapping partners after each 6 holes. Who do you think will have the most points by the end?

Gilly. You deserve a bit of luck. The fact that you are a talented golfer is an added bonus. Paul coming last is the icing on the cake.
Gully’s nugget about leading with the sternum was golden. Paul’s comment about how one shot can overcome an otherwise poor hole and the importance therefore of not giving up was also golden. These types of comments provide extra value and differentiate your course vlogs.
Great golf, great banter and great cousre! Gilly and Paul crack me up. Especially Paul with his jabs that only he hears!
I love these vlogs and the standard of golf is getting better every time. Bernie was on fire and I'm amazed at how ultra competitive Paul is on these videos.

When Dan was putting on the 18th and Paul was in the background I didn't even look at the putt , I was concentrating on Pauls' reaction. lol

Once again boy's another cracking vlog, that course would be brutal playing in the wind. Paul's expression at the end was absolutely priceless, it's not everyday that he gets beaten.
A great final part fighting a ridiculous wind
Thanks guys. Good work. Brought a smile to my face. Reminded me of the wonderful nine months I spent in the Cotswolds a few decades ago. In fact the course is reminiscent of the Painswick Golf Club which was just a few miles up the road from the hotel where I lived and worked. There was a disco in Cheltenham where we would often go on our nights off. Very popular with the local ladies. I'll say no more :-) Great memories.
Par 3 really showed how to deal with a cross wind. Top stuff from Paul.
i did notice chris missing his fost bump with dan on the end of the last hole. the chris pretends to clean his nose!!! hahaha

Think I said it on the St enedoc vlog about bernie keeping his driver in his bag because the way he was hitting his 2 iron but I take it back he couldn't hit one bad drive on this vlog. Great content as always keep up the great work Dan and team ⛳

Gilley from the gulley! I have played many many rounds at this course, starting in the 1970s when I was a lad. I shot a 94 on this course, first time below a ton and was with my dad. Fond memories..... unless you are playing in 40 mph sleet|

A Marmite course for my mates but I’ve always enjoyed it. The highlight being my mate trashing his trolley down the hill. I’m working on a building site at Cleeve Prior and can see the course, should have waved 👍

The 'dunes' you refer to surrounding the 13th green are actually the ramparts of a 2000+ year old iron age hill fort!
Is Paul still sitting in the corner of that green, 😂

Great vlog looked like a really interesting course. I noticed the animals on the course and it reminded me of Bramshaw Forest Course . Ponies and cows are all over that course.
Great vlog. One of the best for a while. Unbelievable views and a great course. I live in South Wales and I’m sure I saw my house on one occasion 😂. Tell Paul that trying to look stroppy in tangerine doesn’t work. Keep up the great work team.
Well done guys on another fantastic course vlog. Playing good golf in tough conditions all while managing cameras and creating quality video is an outstanding effort. Some really outstanding scenery around this course. Keep up the great work, always a must watch for an expat living in Australia.
wow wow, this is not a golf course, but a fighter course .you have to be in great shape to play there.

Can I just suggest if you all enjoyed playing a quirky course like that you may want to check out church Stretton GC near Shrewsbury! Very simular in set up , one of my favourite courses to play every now and again 👍

Love that course! Have played it 7 times now in the last 2 years. It feels like you are stepping back in time when you go there - was that Old Tom Morris I saw putting out on the next green?! Time to dig out the tweeds and hickory clubs! I hope the new management make a success of the place, whilst keeping its character. And hopefully the local idiots won’t go and do donuts again on the 10th green like they did at Christmas time.
Ah… if you want courses with spectacular views and back to back par 3’s, you should come up to Church Stretton . That starts with 3 par 3’s! They have a local rule on the 2nd, if your tee shot roles back past you and goes out of bounds you can re tee it and play 2.

When I worked in Cheltenham for a while I took some walks up onto Cleave Hill, great views in all directions. These vlogs have been great, if I ever go back I'll take my clubs.
Incredible course. I can be awful in the wind some days though as high and floaty are my middle names. So it maybe a handicap wrecker for me.

Wonderful match.
Since covid most people have moved onto the fist bump instead of hand shakes at the end of a round...problem is, a lady Doctor I played with pointed out that almost everyone frequently wipes their nose with the back of their hand so its probably not a good solution anytime.

Those clouds...
I know its windy but i played there a few years ago, it was that windy on the 12th hole i hit a good drive and i reckon if i had run foward 50 yards i might have caught it. When the wind blows up there its brutal there's no cover

I’m not sure if you miss half your shots right and left, mean you spray the ball all over the place. I play away from trouble so on one hole my miss is going to be right and on another hole, my miss is going to be left. Also on some days I’m pulling the ball and others I’m not getting through the ball. I play what I have during the day. That being said, I’m gaining +.2 strokes for my driving accuracy. (I hit 65% fairway, miss 22% left, 13% right. (Most holes the miss is left)
