I failed my Maths exam on my school's final year exam last year. However, 3 weeks before my Maths exam I've been through your videos for a week and eventually got a huge improvement!
I really want to thank you a lot. If you weren't here today I have no idea how much I might get for this time's exam..
Glad I could help and make such a difference! Fingers crossed it's the same for this exam... :-)
how big was the improvement, if u don’t mind sharing?
Thank you so much for this video. I really dont know most of the hacks. I'm glad that i knew now .
No problem 😊👍
Thank you soooo much for making this video. This honestly helps so much with studying as now I can save time knowing the correct answer. You've been a lifesaver Mr. Ginger :)
Great to hear AJR
at 5:09 I dont think it is important for right hand side to have 0, you can just plug the entire equation in it. It works for me on my calculator fx/991es
Might depend on the calculator 👍
Thank you so much this is so helpful espcially one day before my exam!
same here!! feeling more confident for tomorrow 😅 goodluck!
Great to hear 😊
Thank you so much, God bless you ...
No problemo 🙂👍
Thank you!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
No problem 😊
This video was really helpful, do you think you could make a video on the polygons chapter?
Add to my list 🙂👍
This video was informational, would be great if u did one for CIE A level Math 🙏
Great suggestion!
Could you please do a video about Transformation and Differentiation for IGCSE starters? Like for Year 9s. It would help so much 🙏Also supporting as always 🥰

You do not know how helpful this was to me! Thank you so much! Doing my 0607 paper 4 tomorrow, and I think my syllabus gives full marks for answers anyways
How did it go?
Omg thanks and can u pls make a video on 0607 everything u need to know for numbers first chapter
The Ginger Mathematician strikes 😅 Which number topics?
Hi! im not sure how to do the simultaneous equation one
because my calculator
(casio fx-991ES) only shows
COMP
CMPLX
STAT
BASE-N
EQN
MATRIX
TABLE
VECTOR
Is EQN supposed to be equation/function?
It is!
Yep! I’ve got the same one.
For the table one, you do Mode, 7 and the rest is pretty much the same.
Simultaneous is Mode, 5, 1.
Quadratic is Mode, 5, 3.
Hello, ive got the casio fx-991 is there a way to solve simultaneous equations where one of the letters is raised by a power?
Nope just linear ones
Hey ginger mathematician, I’ve always been good at numbers in math such as numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages and times, divide, mental math and more or less all number related questions. However I’m now in year 9 and I’m really struggling with anything to do with letters in math such as using them in graphs, long algebraic equations and solving equation with letters on a graph and all stuff graph related with letters and just them in general whether they be solving them in a fraction, percentage, if there squared or cubed or etc or a graph and just year nine letters in general, I had something called a puma test today and I got 37/60 which I am so angry with myself with and I didn’t get a single mark on about 15 letter graph questions, solving fractions for example like with questions like ‘solve y when the equation is 5xsquared=3y/5 and things like this and then solving equations and plotting them on graphs, I’m really worried and stressing about all this stuff regarding letters in math for the end of year 9 and was wondering if you could make a video regarding everything about them and how to get 50+/60 and master letters in math because I feel like it’s an untold topic which a lot of people struggle with, I really appreciate you bro and I hope you can help me and many other who have this problem! :)
Hey! Don't worry about struggling with letters in math - you've got great number skills, and variables just take a bit of getting used to. Think of them as mystery numbers waiting to be solved! I get why letters seem tough, and you're right that it's a common challenge. I'm going to make videos to help! We'll start with basics, practice with examples, and tackle graphs too. Together, we'll conquer those letters and get you feeling confident in your math abilities!
@@GingerMathematicianthank you so much, you don’t know who much this means to me and I just realised how much I wrote so sorry for making to sit that long to read that, thank you so much again as a lot of People in year 9 seem to struggle with letters and I will wait everyday for your videos to be uploaded!
Great video. Just one doubt: are the people who are taking the 0580 exams at the beginning of next year allowed fx- 991 es
Think so...
hi is the casio fx 991es plus allowed in the external?
It is 👍
Does casio fx-991 work for simultaneous equations aswell?
It does
God bless you so much Sir 🙏🙏❤
Glad I could help Frances :-)
does casio fx-350es plus second edition have equation function
Not sure..
Can we use the calculator for 0580 paper 22. Its actually mentioned as cannot be used. If not how do we do the inverse trigonometry and other complex calculations.
Where is it mentioned? Non-programmable calculators can be used 👍
It is for the new syllabus update that would be after 2024 sooo this series we can
Wow, 4 and 5 seem so useful! Honestly considering buying one of these white classwiz calculators (I'm sitting for 0580 in mj24). Should I?
What do you currently have? 👍
@@GingerMathematician It's an old model of the fx300es plus. The new model has green DEL and AC buttons, mines are orange
@@particled1 If you have the money I would upgrade as it's not usually that much and may give you the extra edge in exams 👍
@@GingerMathematician Alright! Money isn't an issue and since I'll take maths in A levels it's a good investment in the long run. Currently out of stock on Amazon but will buy it. Thanks for the advice!
Sir, i have a q
For 4
Foe simultanous equation
Its giving me ×=13 and y=-10...
My calculator is CASIO fx-991ZA NATURAL-V.P.A.M
Not the same answer?
Can you make a video on bounds for CIE IGCSE maths 0580 please?
Right here 👍 czcams.com/video/IRLYK-PRW1s/video.htmlsi=TNkmELyb1V-YRKqI
@@GingerMathematician Thank you so much
i dont have equation function, i have fx-83gt cw 😢
But do you have the table function? Best time saving function 🙂👍
@@GingerMathematician yes yes, its da best
ginger math i got a serious question for u
Fire away 🙂
And he was never seen again😔
thank you
No problemo 😊
Thank youuu🙏🙏🙏🙏
You're welcome 😊
Can you pls make a video on how to sketch graphs like cubic, quadratic and all sorts that come in igcse 0580 maths
hey man i watched all revision videos for paper 2 and paper 4 and 2 tier videos basically i did a mock exam on myself for paper 4 i got 55 out of 130 how can i improve my mark even though i did all these things
That's a solid start! It shows you're committed to learning the material. Here's how to boost those scores:
Break it Down: Figure out where you lost the most marks. Was it specific topics or types of questions?
Review the Basics: Even if you watched videos, did you grasp the core concepts? Go back to your textbook or notes to solidify your understanding.
Past Papers are Key: Analyze how questions are phrased and what answers the mark schemes want.
Tutoring?: If struggling on your own, a tutor can provide personalized help where you need it most.
Keep working hard, you'll see progress!
@@GingerMathematician thank you so much
Plz ans...
Iam worried
Iam writing tomorrow...
How did it go?!
Can u pls make a prediction for igcse core math exam 0607
Won't have time sorry :-(
