hey! I applied regular decision for UM! I have taken AP, IB, and DE and let me tell you it is STRESSFUL!! I am also thinking about dropping my AP tests too. Thank you for sharing this you are giving me some hope that I have a good shot at getting in thank you sm!

Same exact story with me I also got accepted to the spring semester after getting deferred and I’m probably going to study for the year in a different country and defer my decision to the fall semester. See you there:)

My neighbor Jenna went to UMiami she loved it there especially because were from NY so the weathers way different she ran Track and played soccer for the school and majored in Accounting

Did anyone get scholarship at u miami with 1330 sat and 3.9 gpa?
I just applied regular decision. I've taken honors, AP classes, and Dual credit. I didn't submit my ACT or SAT. I've kept above a 3.7 GPA all throughout high school. I am also out of state student, do you I have a good chance of getting in?

Two criteria to be admitted at UMiami Middle:
1. Have rich parents and be able to breath on your own.
2. Be a superstar student and get a truck load of scholarships, grants and loans to be able to afford the over-priced tuition.

I wish to get into the university of Miami too. I got a 1310 (I'm planning to retake) in SAT, and I have GPA 4. Do you think I'm likely to get into this university as as international student (Also, I need a full-ride scholarship)? Or is it difficult for internationals?
Yes you will, your 4.0 gpa will max out ur sat score Sence the gpa exepatance rate is a 3.6 so you’ll be solid, lmk if you get in

Did you have to re-pay for application fees?
If you get declined early decision, you have the decision to re apply early decision 2 or early admission but you don’t pay again
when you got a 25 on the ACT but this is your dream school :')

I believe for this upcoming year Miami is going test optional, but i'm not 100% sure
Do you think I’ll get in with a 3.9 UW GPA, a 4.6+ Weighted, 68 community service hours, national honor societies, and applying test optional? I’m applying ED fall of 2024

This response is a bit late. If ur folks have lotsa moohlah, you are in bro! Otherwise, you have to be a superstar student capable of getting enough scholarships, grants and loans to pay the sky-high tuition.

560 RW however my unweighted gpa is 3.85
Should I send my score or apply test optional?
Go to a better school. In FL, UF, FSU will do the trick. Their academics are superior at a fraction of the cost. About the other pit hole in Miami, FI-who? AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!
