I have a 2005 Drifter! Love this bike!! My 19 yr old daughter uses it as her main ride. We call it the road sofa because you just float along. This a great find!!
Had a 2000 Vulcan 800 classic as my first bike. Just sold it two weeks ago. Awesome bike, had good pick up and sounded great with Mac pipes
A friend of mine let me use his 1996 Vulcan 1500 a few times. Though a little big for me it was very smooth. This 800 sounds just as good!! Whoever gets this bike will get a quality machine to hit the road with!!

I have 61,000 miles on it, still runs like new. Dyno was almost50 hp
nice .i ride a 1995 800 A . has 21" front wheel .it has been executed by previous owner but damn thing wont die! it runs as good as yours. i not only drilled "micro. #62 drill" the jets , also slide .it has right now throttle response at any range. i love it. i made my own forwatd controls , 34" low bars and custom seat. im 5',10 "and can ride it for hours without putting foot to ground. what ever you are askin for that red and white classic , it's worth it . tough and reliable and FUNNNNN!
got to love the Vulcan 800, sound great, 4 valves per cylinder, liquid cool, etc. great entry level cruiser, great for smaller stature individual... i own the Drifter (indian replica) totally happy with it. mount springer seat with rigid look.
