Hey man... That is actually the stock carb, but i made that air cleaner for it. I removed the air box, ducting and stock air cleaner from the bike. That air cleaner is available from J&P Cycles. I then made an adapter from a rubber radiator hose that was the right size to fit over the carb. i had to make some adjustments to the air cleaner to allow the hose to fit inside. then it is secured with hose clamps on both sides of the air cleaner backing plate. hope that helps! good luck.
DID YOU KNOW, vn frame, and a vn drifter frame are identical apart from 1 thing, the drifter frame is goose necked, so if you want to fit dna springers make sure you use th frame of a drifter, I used the vn frame, cut the front frame and fashion a wish bone, scrapped the rad and tunneled air vents for the rear pot,I have 4 inch under springers fitted, just thought I would mention this tip.
Hi! Very cool bike! Im working on the same bike and I noticed you changed the carb system. I have a similar bug eye air filter that i would like to use. Could you explain wat you changed to all the tubes? Cheers, Steven
Thank you for your help, I'm almost done with my air-box. But I need your help again please? Hello, I need help please: I have a home made air box, I'm having trouble with one hose. The hose coming from the brass fitting coming off the second cylinder going into the old air-box. what should I do with this hoses, do I close off this or keep it following?
