2012-2014 was like golden. Mad murder, natural disaster survival, red vs blue vs green vs yellow, zombiecon, the quary, were awesome and let’s not forget tixs.

I joined the fray since like 2015, the last year of the Middle Era and I had a great time in my 1st year on Roblox.
Playing games like Natural Disaster Survival, Deathrun, Murder Mystery / The Mad Murderer, Flood Escape, Survive The Disasters, and probably some others too. Had a really great time! Really do agree that the atmosphere back then was more friendlier (company-wise), compared to the more corporate and less-friendly atmosphere. Wished I could've played earlier than 2015, maybe like Early-Middle Era or even during the Classic Era.

not an old roblox player, but damn, good video. i think that a lot of old roblox stuff like ui and voxel terrain looks pretty good, but i appreciate the new ui and new features as well
old roblox seems like it was much more lively, but idk since i again didnt play it. new roblox is so lifeless and the events are complete ass. 2018 was the end of good roblox events, they're all bad devhunts now. I've played recreations of old egg hunts, and they're really good and fun. also i really like the old packages/bundles and despise rthro; it's really ugly in official bundles and doesn't fit in with normal roblox avatars at all: that 2017 demo is hideous and has an appropriate rating on the game page. R15 is kind of cool, but only because of the customizable animation bundles you can buy. Roblox is trying to push layered clothing rn, but it's pretty stupid (not to mention extremely glitchy, does NOT work as intended) and most people just use it for joke avatars, like cats, pou, or caseoh, which roblox doesnt want lmao. public ugc is absolute garbage except for small creators. it's mostly used for copies of limiteds and extremely inappropriate items, but roblox does not care because they're getting money from it. and they keep raising the price floor, i fucking hate how expensive items are getting... at least it hasn't affected gear yet. but roblox is going to basically ruin gear by making them all useless handhelds in the games with them enabled, but they've phrased this upcoming update in a positive way to trick people into liking their future update to gear. if a gear is thousands of robux and says it can so something, it should be able to do that. there are still some good things they've added, though, like display names, group name changes, dark mode, and customizable pfps via emotes. anything related to customizability is good. basically, i like new roblox feature-wise but like old roblox style-wise (i want to use the 2012 site layout and theme!!!)
