- My first time trying the famous Nasi Kandar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a dish you must try if in Malaysia. I walk to a local restaurant in the Masjid Jamek area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia known as "Restoran Al-Rizwan". I try a traditional Malaysian dish known as Nasi Kandar and only paid $3 for it. It was very yummy and I would recommend trying this place if you are ever in this area. Nasi Kandar is a staple here in Malaysia and you cannot leave the country without trying it.

Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like exploring places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

the way to one’s heart is via the stomach. one of the common greetings us malaysians say to each other, especially to strangers, is “sudah makan?”, meaning, “have (you) eaten?”. it’s simply a gesture to assure one another that because we share a common need to eat, we should be nice to each other. 😊
Thanks for this info!
Myer, your content is absolutely amazing and long enough to watch. You’re very respectful of other cultures. I started watching your videos when you were doing the Ethiopia series. Love the way you end every video it’s very inspiring. Safe travels!👍🏽✈️

We call soda as soft drinks here, I think not many people here know soda means soft drinks here, that's why he said "ice-cream soda?" which is one of the soda drink to put ice-cream ahhhaha.
haha interesting
Same as in PH 🇵🇭, soda is called soft drinks (as opposed to hard drinks/ liquor/ alco drinks).
