I got one at retail price from Adorama - was on their waitlist since Decemeber 1st 2022 mind you so 5.5 months. If you are not in a hurry, you can get one at retail.
Unless you have Pro needs, your phone is probably all the camera you need.
I've been pro for decades, but for my personal needs my One+ 7T phone is responsible for probably over 90% of my favorite images.

Hi Brett! I used my Deity S-Mic 2S and the Deity HDTX recorder! This is my go to setup for all my talking head videos in the studio. I hope that helps!

I will judge you harshly at the end of this piece, good luck. I will say, you're off to a good start. **DONE** 10/10 mate. I don't disagree w anything u said. I'm sick of ppl shttng on this camera cuz they need a clickbait title to drive engagement. Really well done review/piece of work here. The pictures u showed were amazing 👏🏾 def have a good eye. U talked about the f2, the lack of ibis, and the weather sealing. None of which are like, bad, just basically, fuji didn't know how crazy ppl were gonna go and how deep ppl would go w it and you also talk about w the potential for a new camera. And I agree they would be nice touches for the next version (100vi?) Which could be up anytime. Maybe 24? Regardless, like you said, this is an amazing camera, mine goes w me everywhere as well. And I'll be keeping mine when the new one comes out as well. 10/10.

I'm glad you enjoyed! I shoot raw, and then apply the film simulation and minor exposure tweaks in lightroom!
@@MarcTaraz Ah shoot, I knew it waw too good to be true. I was hoping I'd get such stunning photos straight out of the camera. I'm on the fence of switching out my Sony RX100V for the Fujifilm X100V, but only if it's a big enough improvement. Do you have any experience with the Rx100-series? Thanks for making the video.
You can get something very similar straight out of camera, I'm not doing too much in editing. I haven't had a lot of hands on with the RX series, but in my opinion, the sony's are technically superior. But that's not what I wanted out of a everyday point and shoot. I think it just depends on what you want out of a camera.

Its a glimmer glass filter! And yes, it is being used in quite a few of the sample images!

What were the recipes for all your pics?
Most of these were just shot raw, and then either classic chrome or classic neg was used, with minor exposure adjustments!

I edit them in Lightroom!

You can find all the film simulations your specific Fuji camera has under the Lightroom profiles!
But… you said the x-e4 was cheaper and better than the x100 a few months ago. I guess you hadn’t tried it back then. I told you. They’re simply different.
I would easily pay over retail for mine if I had to and enjoyed the video. But your comment about instantly sending photos to your phone had me yelling bull shit! Fujis biggest flaw is there app. My OM5 on my om systems cameras is truly instant transfer. Otherwise I consider the 100v one the greatest cameras in a decade.
All those reviews, and all those views for a camera that don't exist. 🤐

X100v scalpers are the scourge of photography.
1000% agree. I couldn’t believe it when I saw people selling them for over $3000 USD. the absolute audacity.
The problem is the who buy from them, if that didn’t happened, scalpers wouldn’t exist and we all would have more cameras to buy now. It just makes things more difficult for everyone.
Doesn’t look better than the iPhone camera.
