Do more of these with the coaches
There are plenty of great coaches who also deserve an episode like this: Firas Zahabi, Greg Jackson, Eric Nicksick, Dewey Cooper, Javier Mendes, Master Rafael/Chute Box & Kings MMA, Duke Roufus, Ray Longo, Trevor Whitman, Eric Albarracin, Matt Hume, Pavel Fedotov, Etc.
Gotta respect Henri Hooft! One of the best coaches in the Game
Yes the best in getting to the finals but not win. Lmao. I've never seen a coach lose so much championship fights. He's probably one of the greatest manipulators alive to have made it this far. Believe concieve achieve.
@@marmitaa8619yeah sorry about who hurt you bro. Kamaru was dominant. Dumbo.
@@AManCalledDutch Kamaru did that himself. Giving that credit to Henry shows how inept you are.
@@marmitaa8619 Kamaru hugely improved his striking himself to be able to KO finish a bunch of his title defence opponents on the feet? Something he’d never been able to do before linking up with HH? Fucking dork 🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
@@marmitaa8619 you mean the former Dutch kickboxing champion, the former European kickboxing champ, the former WK kickboxing champion who help and guided and brought 2 one fc champion belts, 4 Bellator belts, 1UfC belt nd 1 PFL belt to his team. Sure he must be a great manipulator
Thank you UFC for putting out this short docu of coach Henry. This was well appreciated..From a fan
What a legend, went to a seminar Henri held in my city. Learned so much. Hopefully he comes back out to see me fight.
Post a video of one of your fights….
@@DaniDinks prob should have mentioned, it will be my first but I’ll post it and link it if I remember.
@@lrd93 How did it go?
Hooft one of the best coaches, good man. Literally getting no credit for making Usman the champ...
Ummm, Usman also works with Trevor Whitman.
@@wooshangjr that was after usman won the title
Wat een top coach is Henri. This dude is very underrated
He’s a great striking coach
So genuine and shows when he speaks
Hooft's seen some of the highest highs (Usman, primarily) and some of the lowest lows (Rumble Johnson). They've built a stacked gym at Sanford MMA.
Henri Hoofts roots are in Mejiro Gyms Kickboxing. One of the oldest and prestigious Kickboxing Gyms of the world. You can see legends like Andre Mannaart, Peter Aerts and Rob Kaman in the beginning of this video. The story behind this gym is very interesting and fascinating. Watching the striking of his fighters you can see the distinct Mejiro style with a few new twists from him.
It's good that the UFC is now showing more of the coaches what they do what they have to say. Nice one.
Respect to Henri! Great piece of content on coaches
If they ever do a new Frankenstein movie he should be at the top of the casting list.
I thought this was some smart inside joke until I looked at the thumbnail lmao
The Doctor, or his monster?
@Juan pls don't do this to me
Sooooo Much UFC Content... I Love It 😎👌🏼
Yes, more content like this on coaches!
Very cool to see him and Javier working together
Fun fact the guy at the left at 1:03 is called Peter Aerts and he is considered to be one of the best kickboxers in the world, check his record and highlights to be amazed
Peter is like a Kickboxing god in my country
And there was also Rob kaman
I can’t look away from Megan. 10/10
Just saw a Henri Hooft vid of him getting koed by spinning back kick to the liver. Glory kickboxing posted it
This was dope
Henri Hooft is de man ❤️🔥🇳🇱
Legend
Dutch Striking Maestro
Hooft being a head (hoofd in Dutch) coach is brilliant
What respect , when he left anthony Johnson ? He left him and he knew that it was his last fight FY
#1 trainer in the world!
The real ceo of epo
lol, that's Kamaru's Chemist of a brother.
Hooft is one of the best at teaching skills. Wittman is the best at making a game plan. Both play an important part for Usman.
Got some killers under his belt though. Luque, usman and chandler alone....sheeesh💯
This video makes me wanna go to war for Hooft lol. Seems like a great coach and even better man.
megan has the best fitting jeans ive ever seen
Lekkah gozer
Can we just have the press conference already?
Have patience you casual.
Good coach , ( maar pijnlijk voor hem) (messed up for him) but it must hurts when he had two times the chance to figure out how to beat Khabib with Michael Johnson and Abel Trujillo, and they where both humiliated horrible. That must felt like **** for a coach like him.
He has mentored a who's hooft of champions...
Its so strange that literally no one knows this guy here in The Netherlands…..
Wow really even his old coach Gerard Gordeau?
@@michaelbanks2401 no one knows anyone in the fight world here. Only guys that people know here are Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari
@@jordeon1257 Nieky Holzken too?
Als je hem nie kent volg je alleen de grote namen. T zou me niks verbazen als je Ernesto hoost wss nie eens kent.
Khamzat chemaev should change his gym to this one
Hooft is the best at the moment. No one can change my mind
Good at making contenders
A coach of the year award says otherwise... 🙄Jus saying
..
CoughTrevorWhitmancough
Lol
All these big gyms are equally good. Its just a matter of chemistry between the fighters and the gym.
I love Megan Olivi
This dude cares. Who's chopping onions?
Reason Usman left is coz hooft has a ton of fighters and dosent pay special attention to any of them before their fights. Because he's running it like a business and Trevor is running it with passion
Henri hoof is a legend! much respect😎👊✌🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
But in recent tyms his record has not been so good..... Chandler lost 2 fights, Gilbert lost to Khamzat, Brunson lost to Cannenior, Luque lost to Belal
Isn't this the Conor video? Where's Conor?
same guy who took another fighter vs usman
gilbert vs usman
I am from Amsterdam. Here in Holland guys like Hooft, Overeem and others nobody mainstream knows them. They are not getting any respect like footballers and other bs sportguys.
Ok..banget...👍..?
I would feel guilty being a coach in loses
Usman left the gym, why?
Trevor Whitman
He left because he wasn't getting enough personal attention which he felt he needed later on in his career. The team is massive, It's around 70 guys and it's ran like a team.
Guys who have fought are going to stay later to get extra mint work and other stuff like that. But from what I heard, Usman wanted more personal attention and a lot of his teammates were in his division, mainly Burns, so there was a nervousness with that too.
Remember when Henri left Anthony Johnson in the Octagon all by his lonesome self?
Oh yeah after he gave up against dc
Idk about his coaching ability but this dude lost 4/5 of his professional fights from what I see in Wikipedia..
Rat coach
pos coach left rumble
