The Making of a Tunnel Mural

The University brought in local Wall Therapy artist Sarah Rutherford to decorate two walls in the underground tunnels with a mural designed to inspire those who pass by.

Love the Tunnel Mural ! I think Miss Anthony would be delighted.
A group of us (volunteers & staff) from The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House, here in Rochester on Madison St., came for a visit to the U. of R. Library's Rare Books & Special Collections Dept. Afterwards, we went to see the new mural of S.B.A. & the other lovely sections. Terrific !
Everyone was very impressed with the mural. The concept was wonderful & the art work was excellent. Hurrah to the artist ! She deserves much praise & congratulations.
I hope the mural inspires EVERYONE to visit The Museum; it's American history !

Beautiful work! What kind of paint did you use? What was it you used to transfer the design to the wall? It looked like a crayon, but I know it wasn't. I love that you used a chalk line for your grid. I didn't think of that. I have to do my first mural at a school and don't know all the little details. Your video helped. Thanks!
