TheGameconomist I would say make an mushroomancer set so you don’t have to worry about making catalyst for the demon drug and armorskin. Also might pill is an must for GS if you are waking the monster up with an TC
Would u mind making a video on how to maximize your harvesting? Which materials should u prioritize and how much...etc. any advice would be appreciated.
Isn't it neccessary to buff armor seed and armor skin?
Kervile Herrera what??? Are you talking about how you can stack adamant seeds with hard shell powder with either armor skin or mega armor skin (since mega armor skin just over writes the armor skin). I really didn’t understand your statement unless you where talking about item prolonger
@@rockthehouse2211 I was hoping he would talk about it, since those items cost a lot. Sometimes I am running out of Kelby's horns or other precious ingredients for my fights.. I just transform some of them with alchemy. I don't know if this is the best way
I think that carrying monster shit with you everywhere is pretty important for regular hunts so you can shoo away devil pickle and the carpet bombing beetle.
I'm a chaotic neutral so I enjoy a good shitshow
B-52 is nice and helpful though XD
"PickleJho"
Day made. 😂 😂 😂 😂 Carpet what? 😂 😂 😂 😂
You leave bagel jesus alone lol
500+ hours and I didn't even know that rearranging the item bar was a thing.
SirHusky654 I realized it after 80+ hours of playing ^^
I realized afted 30 hours of playing :) still hr 13 , add my steam ( if.onn )
270 hours in and I’m still learning the ins and outs lol. First MH game though, so I wear my noob mantle with pride
I'm new to MH, but I looked up a bunch of new player videos to pick up tips like this. I still don't understand how people don't know this. It's like they don't read what's on the menus and explore them.
Thalanox Not to play devil's advocate, but some of that stuff is hard to read! I myself am playing on a 40" plasma, and some of that text is very difficult to read.
I have played maybe less then 100 hours and recently got MHW. I have watched maybe 2 hours of tutorials but this one by far is amazing useful and helpful.
O.O YOU CAN REARRANGE THE ITEM BAR. HOLY COW. This. This changes things. A lot. Holy cow.
I did that once by accident couldn't figure it out ever again
bruh moment
Real hoonter use radial menu
it literally says rearrange on the bottom left lmao

OH SO THIS HOW YOU REALLY PLAY?! I AM ORGANIZING AND MAKING MY RADIAL IN GAME AS I WATCH THE VID. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN MISSING. I'VE PLAYED NEARLY 600 HOURS IN DISARRAY. THANK YOU!
Abdiel Marrero lol fr
I am so used to selecting and picking items from previous mh games that I always forget to use the radial wheel
that automatic crafting i never knew Thanks man
A little tip for hunting tempered monsters: From my experience (depending on the monster) tempered monsters can only be flashed between 1-3 times before they become immune (example: tempered vaal hazak becomes immune after 1 flash while tempered teostra becomes immune after 3) so when hunting tempered you wont need to bring more than the 3 flashpods and save the flashbug space for something else you want to bring such as more consumables or the like. Hope this helps and happy hunting!
10x Mega potions 10x flash pods hope for the best.
Yeet

Laughs in free meal
Items that have more than one crafting "blueprint" still work for auto crafting, but only if they are the last in the crafting list. For this, you can actually change the order of the items in the crafting list so that your preferred version is last (example: Mega Barrellbomb's Devil's Blight version). This way, you can leave your Mega Barrellbomb in your radial menu (instead of its crafting item) and just spam it when needed.
This is a great tip guys
TheGameconomist thank you, sir. Actually because of that property of the radial menu + autocrafting (and that I don't actually play too much hardcore), I end up preferring to take mostly craft materials (except for mega potions). I even generally take 10 immunizers and 10 kelbi horns (if I have enough) and no max potions, so I technically have 10 ancient potions at any time.
Such good information on item loadout I have never heard before. Thanks
Thank you soooo sooo much
This is actually the most useful monster hunter video ever made. I'm so glad I found this video very early on, the amount of time this guide has saved me is actually insane.
You are one of the very few CZcamsrs who actually care to explain the reason behind everything u do in the video and I truly appreciate that.
I just wanted to say thank you for this video. In my two years of playing, it's been the most useful video I've seen. I modified a couple of things like replacing Farcaster with Whetfish scale+, and using Dust of Life instead of Lifepowder, but other than that, this is exactly my setup now thanks to you.
This is one of the most valuable Monster Hunter videos I’ve seen and I’ve seen many! Thank you so much. Thumbs up and subbed! 👍🏽
This video was way better than I ever could have hoped for. Genuinely, thank you for being precise and explaining everything. Liked and subbed.
Godbugs, Mandragoras, Devil's Blights, Catalysts, god there's so much stuff to farm yet there's not enough slots at the botanical researcher...
if you are on pc, i advise you to just use mods for all that
@@moutaouakkilyoussef5825 cheater
I personally use the mod "Potion Seller" It just adds all the Utilities to the shop, no monster materials or nothing, and stuff you could harvest. Basically minimizes the downtime between hunts so you can play the actual game, also it still costs money and even at HR60 right now i still have to sell some stuff if I want to stock up on mega Armorskins/Demondrugs.
@@-swisha just don't spam mega buffs? lol
@@-swisha GameEco himself said mega demondrug isn't worth it lmao
for non-Elder-Dragon quests/investigation. take dung pods with you to dung monsters away where you dont want to fight with you and take traps with tranq bombs with you for capture.
But i think most people already figured it out.
really important especially if you want to repel the b-52
Fuck bazel always rapes my hunt lmao
@@sasqatar You want to die of old age?
I remember when i didnt know Bazel can appear on every map. I was afk on Elder recess to reply messages. When suddenly the horror music started playing..
@@WhatEvaYsay So I made a new character because I was playing with a friend and because I wanted to, but I didn't know this about Bazel Wazel... Thank goodness I've warmed up to dung pods XD Cause I wouldn't want to deal with B-52 on every map!
GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for the info!!! I wasn't paying attention to the charm stacks, or the item bar/loadout...You've just shown me why I'm struggling in Master Rank...and I'll be fixing that this evening...Thanks again!!!
1600 hours in and im just now finding out you can sort your item bar.
700h played and i didnt even know you can organize your itembars! THANK YOU love
another tip for buffs: if you use the mosswine mask you get a very useful ability which lets you eat mushrooms like if they were suppor items. Nitro mushrooms act exactly like demon drug and shock ones act like the armor potion. I always wear them to hunts, eat the mushrooms, change the head armor and go straight to the fight, its been very useful to me
400 hours into the game and I just knew you can organize the item bar! I just put everything I need to the radial menu, holy cow, thank you so much.
OMG! This is exactly what I needed after 600 hours of gameplay. Thank you. I just subscribed and posting this video to my Discord!
I stumbled onto the whole menu customization thing by chance, changed my life.
You can also customize the ammo/coating bar from the same menu as the item bar customization @ 7:46
Using lb/rb
Some of your tutorials actually pull me thru the battles now vs me fighting to find my poorly arranged items, fighting Odagon now and these tips kick ass,you rock, slayer!!
Thank you so much for this ! I've been playing around 300 hours without doing those helpful and basic things !
Please keep up the good work !
Make your radial menu first, Then make your template. Save it.
Use template to make new load outs. Now your radial menu is saved for every load out you make.
I needed this organization in my life. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
This is the first time I played Monster Hunter, so I have a lot of things to learn.
Im very lucky to find your channel
I've played for so many hours without realizing you can edit the Item Bar. Thank you so much!
You can also sort your ammo from the sorting your item bar menu by pressing a shoulder button! For those who dont know.
I never knew that you could organize your item bar until now. Thank you for an awesomely informative video, GC!
100 hours in and I didn’t know you could refresh your items at camp midfight.... This is the best MHW tutorial on CZcams, hands down. Thank you so much for the video.
Your guide saved me a lot of time , especially for the load ups, great job there !
Didn't know to change my item bar, I'm psyched for that.
600+ hours and I never knew how to do the item bar (always just assumed it was set). I love you for this
I've only seen one person on here who went over actual item loadouts. Glad to see another
Thank you so much for the Radial Menu stuff it completely changed the game for me, Nergigante was my first hard wall (as i am brand new to the MH with World) & after watching this it made my life so much easier. Plus i had an idea of the radial menu crafting but no idea how to do it. Thank you again very helpful video to us MH noobs out here.
I didn't know you could change the wheel the radial yes but the wheel
The one problem I have with this is where's the null berries
Finally I just knew how to save the radial after reaching max HR . Thanks to you .
Tf u are 999 hr?
K-W2 yeah, some people spam the quests who boost your HR. I just don‘t get it why I should do that. Ever since I played MHF2 back in the days not in a single game someone gave a fuck about HR. It‘s not a display of skill, it‘s not impressive at all and and most importantly everyone knows that you did nothing but wasting your time by spamming a dumb quest for basicly ... nothing. It‘s not even a prestige thing because true MH veterans dont care about how many Tier 2 Monster you killed. Thats basicly all they did.
Learned it before fighting behemoth lol life saver
Bro, I am going to be honest, this REALLY CHANGED my hunting experience! Thanks for the great tutorial man! Keep it up!
Five years later and still helping hunters. Thanks so much man!
Thanks!! Wow after 400 hour never knew you could organize the tool bar LoL
Smh
dont forget to put shock traps and tranq pods in your loadout
Trent Sexton I was surprised that wasn’t included in the basic loadout
Capturing isn't really basic, I have a couple slay and capture loadouts depending on the monster.
It’s not part as basic because you wouldn’t bring that to hunt elder dragons but everything else can be applied everywherre
That's the most relaxing and informative MHW guide I've ever seen, hats off!
Coming back to World + Iceborne, and this is a HUGE help. Thank you for explaining what the charms do I completely forgot about them and the item bar re-arrangeing. Big Bang Comboed that like button.
This was a great video, I'm already in 400 hours and I wish I knew this D:
Also, I was not ready for that Undertale song.
me at 3am: i have to change my loadout!!
lol, same :')
Lolololol
When I first bought this game, few friends of mine had told me that this game doesnt really explain much of the mechanics to you and that there was a huge learning curve to it. Well 400+ hours later and I'm still learning things about this game whilst I do the grind for the last two trophies I have left. Great video and thanks for the tips on item load out and the item bar.
Haven't even finished watching the video and this is insanely helpful. Thanks for the vid!
decided to watch this video out of boredom and learned something VERY useful. Thanks GC.
You've earned the like and the sub. Nice vid bud.
This was in fact so freakin useful I have always struggled with organizing these items but this was exactly what I needed
Dude! Did not know about the item rearrange. I waste so much time looking for stuff during a hunt. This will help out a lot!
400 hrs... just learning about Item bar modification... jesus...
I recommend bringing sushi fish scales to counter bleed, not only does it cure the bleed but also gives you a decent heal and resets your stamina. If your willing to do some fishing there a great item to bring with you on any hunt.
DragonSpit77 Astera jerky also does the same thing except the stamina part is removed in favor of healing *ALL* red health
Edit: it heals all red health instantly
Did you guys know that you can just crouch and wait for 4-5 seconds to cure bleeding? I used to always carry sushifish scales too, until I found out you can just crouch.
@@AdamJC88Zeitgeist If the monster leaves you alone that long.
The true beauty of this game is I'm always learning something new. Great video!
This is so helpful, item crafting in radial menu settings not saving was so frustrating. Amazing video.
3000 hours? Thats the tutorial 🐒 GREAT VIDEO btw
c0marrr real 3000 is true love
Does this guy have a life outside of Monster Hunters?
Christian Olmeda doubt it
@@christianolmeda938 kind of the point since he's getting paid from it you don't say to someone who works a job as "not having a life"
@PlayzMasterMODS 20XX not an addiction it's a job for that guy, although he probably got burned out of the game a few times
I would definitely recommend this video to all mhw players.
this has helped so much. by just doing this I've decreased the time substantially in killing tempered and arch tempered monsters. Thank you for the info, and love your vids. Keep doing what you do!
I just subbed to your channel because everything you upload is so relaxing to watch!
And thank you for this vid - this changes a lot!
900 hrs in and i just learned how to reorder the item bar. Thx GE
Drop the might seed, (people watching this video aren't going to get much benefit from using it) drop the ingredients for life powder, get two traps, ALWAYS bring traps. Pick either mega barrel or the regular version, not both. If you can get a consistent supply of whetfish fins, bring them. If you're in MR, getting ancient potions is incredibly easy, always bring one. Antidote and nulberries, ALWAYS, you're going to really love it when you forget to bring one of these for the 20th time. Dung pods, personal choice, but you're going to have a shit time (ironic) during some hunts and nearly all MR hunts. I'd say it's unnecessary to bring crafting ingredients for max potions until MR. Mega potions will get you by just fine, especially if you don't build health boost. Bringing flash bugs is nearly completely irrelevant during most hunts, especially the higher ranks you go. Usually the 3 flashes you get will do just fine unless you whiff them.
Why antidote? Herbal medicine is better. I bring herbal medicines, can carry 5 which is usually enough. Also I usually bring herbal powder to heal others.
@@AdamJC88Zeitgeist Sorry, you can definitely use herbal medicine, however I use wide range and herbal medicine doesn't work with it. Completely valid to use just that if you don't use wide range.
However, herbal medicine can be quite pricey for the lower ranks so people should keep that in mind that it isn't required.
what? the first sentence of this novel of a comment doesnt make since whats wrong w might seed?
@@mhead1117 It gives 10 attack for only 3 minutes. Might seeds are better farmed up so you can later turn them into Demondrugs.
New/inexperienced players are not going to get much benefit from that because they won't be attacking the monster enough in that time to warrant using the seeds. They'll be more concerned with healing themselves and avoiding attacks. Also, inexperienced players will be spending high amounts of time (more than 15 minutes) killing monsters and going through 5+ might seeds every mission for an absolute minuscule (to them) gain is counter productive, especially in the long run.
So, they'll either A. be wasting botanical research slots. Or B. spending an ass load of time farming Might seeds in expeditions for very little gain. Might seeds are only really useful when you know a monster's attack patterns and/or you just have a stupid amount of them.
The people taking information from this video, are not experienced player. Because experienced players will know exactly what they need from mission to mission without this video's aid.
I agree with all these suggestions. I don't bring might seed or powder, I just get demondrug, armordrug and start whacking the monster. Its just extra work for not much benefit, the time and focus it takes to keep those buffs adds up alot over time.
Also I always have traps and tranq bombs as I always capture if possible.
I have been playing the series a long time and I learned so much from this video, thanks for the guide.
Wow I am impressed! I have learned soo much watching your videos; the attention to details is perfect!
You arrange your Item Pouch the same way Dmitri Mendeleïev arranged the Periodic Table. Love it.
Solid advice, personally i dont bother with half of those buffs unless its a fight im struggling with. I always keep honey at the farm and keep the rest swappojg out between devils blight, bowgun seeds etc as I need. I'm kind of hoping master rank brings back the no restock at camp from the older games.
You should make a guide about how to get the most out of your farm, its essential to keeping stocked up without actually having to do gathering runs
I knew most of this stuff but its great to be able to point a friend to a high quality guide thx
Holy shit dude! This is so helpful I'm gonna start the game over just so I can follow these tips (and any other guides you've created) as I go.
YOU CAN REARRANGE THE ITEM BAR. I've always thought that why that option was not available.
September September September where are you?
I used to watch your streams and videos 4 or 5 years ago while hunt some monsters, and then life happened. Nowadays I got back to MHW and your videos still helps me on that. Thank you for the content Gameconomist!
Had no clue about the item bar. Always learning something from you man.
Knew most of the organization stuff, still a great video. However I have a problem, i save my loadouts, but the item bar and radial menus never seem to save with them. Drives me insane. I am on PC.
You have to re-save after you make changes . But I am on console, so don't know if that's a problem for P.C.
@@redphoenix1634 I do resave the changes is the problem. And it never seems to help. My item bar and radial menus are always a cluster fuck. not matter how many times I sort them and resave. :(
i just gotta ask: do you save gear loadouts after organizing your wheel? cuz the wheel gets saved with item loadouts not gear loadouts.
@@SinceroOdio I saved the item loadouts. Not a complete dum. :P
@@redphoenix1634 Item order *can't* be saved. Changes every time you pick up items. Same with ammo order. But the radial menu should save with each item loadout.
I don't know why but I just don't use the radial menu at all, maybe I'm just too used to playing the older MH games 🤣
us veterans are so used to it it's hard to get used to using the radial menu hey?
Best tutorial MHW tuber yet. Such a comprehensive and informative guide. Articulate and easy to digest.
Thank you for making this! I keep telling my friends that taking an extra 2 minutes before a fight to set up your items and an item use plan can make a fight so much easier. So many people focus on weapons and armor builds and forget the other host of tools that they have if they just focus on "building" and item loadout the same way they do armor. Me setups are a little diferent but for the most part its all the same ideas. I dont have the resources to use max potions very much yet and the same for the buffs and dash juice, just need to use the farm more.
Uhhh where’s the shock traps and trank bombs
Bring only one demon drug? And no stamina cap recovery items? I don't know if this is just me, but I think I die way more often than you're expecting me to
If you die, the tent is right there for refilling. You can do ancient potion, dash juice or use the rations in the guild chest if you need to refill stamina.
@@stevenluoma1268 see, but it's much easier to simply have 3 demon drugs and some rations in my setup because then I don't need to go to the tent every single time I die... that would be really annoying and it's just easier to bring them
@@TheGodOfInsanty go for it. If you have the space why not, right? I find it hard to fit everything I want
The Item bar tipp is a gift of the gods for me thank you man

It bugs me so much when I watch a stream, and person's menu isn't organized
Already figured this out thru experience but still very good content for other new hunters out there. This will be very helpful guys. Thanks gameconomist for sharing the best mhw content EVERYTIME. 🙂
