For the GS part, The assassins creed mantle only triggers if you stay in the smoke long enough so it makes your map purple 20:09 hence making the TCS a “Sneak attack”. He used it early on just to make advantage of the extra movement speed (correct me if im wrong). Also, the dung pod is only for slinger tcs. Its covenient and weird but it works!

I love the sword and shield, and ill tell ya why, its just consistent. You want elemental damage? You got it. Raw? Yes. Support? Go para with wide range and keep your bois up. Its just fun in variety whilst only having to learn one weapons skillset, different combos apply different anounts of raw and elemental damage so you have different playstyles for different builds, your backhop has mad i frames so you can (if you git gud) really dodge any big attack to either go for a really satisfying perfect rush (instead of mashing the y/triangle button off of your controller) or maybe a flying shield bash. Mounting is so easy and rewearding with it being able to aerial attack from the lowground uo onto a ledge, it has THE SICKEST walljump attack with advancing slash into a wall. It might be a toothpick but its a toothpick that can do everything, theres really no other weapon that does that much of everything, are you gonna solo carry that fatalis run? No, are you gonna do fine? Yes, is it gonna be fun? Definitely, are you addicted to dash juice and a fukin weeb? Thankg god NO.

3:45 bcs: - sns sheathes almost 75% faster. - sns have combos that can rotate the player fully in less than 5 seconds. - you can use items without sheath so it is the best supportive playstyle weapon in the game. - actually does the same dmg than dual blades if not MORE due to its PR opportunistic playstyle which fits better forstcraft that db. - you get the same mobility but without needing to take care about your stamina or needing to farm Dash Juice so is more starters friendly. - not to mention that you can block if you panic (again noob friendly) In conclusion, sns can do all that dual blades does except for elemental dmg or status build - up (talking about iceborne wise) If there is a reason why people doesn't use sns more than other weapons its bcs its not a "flashy" weapon... its the most plausible one... or they just don't get the hang of the weapon bcs its actually harder input wise than most weapons. Could be easily in top 5 or even top 3 if you count all the clutch claw cancels or shortcuts for entering in leaping slash to PR. lol Bow popularity dropped on consoles bcs endgame monsters are a very bad match up for bow, also in console you are forced to aim with a joystick which make the weapon even worse.Not to mention that you can't use fatalis bow bcs is pretty bad so you lose in that again. After seeing the whole video, i just want to say to you: Its hard to make an analysis video without knowing about the game. It would be better if you just throw the numbers and thats all, bcs if you talk about specific things of weapons just are missinformating or just yapping. Like... you don't even know what is an SAED or how CB is played... in this position you won't be able to make an added value to the stats you are sharing... ("duel blades" and "switch blade"? new weapon confirmeds?)

You are looking at stats way past the peak popularity of the game. The comparison is pretty useless. Basically conparing two different scenes or generations. But vastly different sizes.

Ended up doing a fatalis heroics speedrun with gs and hbg with similar times, hbg is meh cause spread 3 is lame but the gs speedrun was so fun, i just found a group of randoms that needed an extra man and bam in 1 session we got a 4:30 sr

Technically Gunlance has the fastest Fatalis kill with 2min 58sec.

Smoke bombs work for keeping him on the ground and if you use in a group, it works as long as no one steps out of smoke

Just remember that not all but most speed runners are exploiting the AI of the game, you can see the cheating by the speed of attack, the fact that some attacks are not present and the frequency of punishable attacks. The average players are never going to have the same experience.

The depressing reason why Hammer and Hunting Horn are such bad matchups for Fatalis is not just because his head is never low enough to land good blows for most of the weapons' movesets but also because Capcom decided to make Fatalis flat out immune to KO damage. Speaking as a Hammer main, it's an absurd handicap to give an already underused weapon that already isn't a good match up and basically tells us "Don't even bother with Hammer" :')

Assassin's Mantle makes your next attack do more damage to a monster that's unaware of your presence, just like the new sneak attacks on Wilds. However, it's most likely used here because it has a great uptime and good slot decos, and it doesn't go away if you hit a monster that is already fighting you.

Fatalis cannot get KO'd unfortunately. Also it might be a good familiarize yourself with the general meta sets at the end of Iceborne. The players are using either Fatalis armor for the 2 and/or 4 piece setbonus or AT Velkhana for the 4 piece setbonus Frostcraft. I did enjoy this video btw.

What I think is quite interesting, if I look through comments on every patform, I'd say hammer must be the most used weapon. I see a lot of hammer, switch axe and surprisingly gunlance comments. Way less Longsword than I would expect looking at these stats

Don't get deceived by charge blade being the fourth fastest weapon on the speedrun list, Fatalis is actually a terrible matchup for CB. I say this even though I have killed over 100 fatalises solo with CB, and even did a few heroics run, the matchup is just not fun. Multiplayer is even worse since your axe upswing will send ppl flying, without the up-down spam, CB is just worthless in this fight.

Getting Fatalis to have the head stuck in that rock is pretty much a scripted thing, very easy to do once you know how to. For it to work the first character that Fatalis chooses to attack has to be to the direction of the binder. In multiplayer lobbies it’s well know that everybody should run for the tall rock in front of the balista binder after the gate. The one that will do the binder should avoid the roar by rockstead, earplugs, or dodging, waiting so Fatalis starts the animation of rotating to target a player, and shoot. It will always fall with his head in the same spot. What occasionally goes wrong is someone not being in the right direction or shooting binder too soon.
