Kelsey, it’s remarkable what you’re able to produce on your 1/4 acre (sorry if I say that a lot)!
Before to long your garden will be full and bursting with life and what a huge blessing of additional space you’ll have when the arborvitae are removed. Your spring and summer will be full! God Bless You Kelsey.
I would put fruit trees in the newly created space. Also, don’t forget to propagate those arborvitae when you take them down. It’s so easy to
Okay wow! Your garden layouts look immaculate and such a beautiful place for your kiddos to grow up. Also, I'm not even a makeup girlie, but your makeup looks soooo good! 10/10 girl bossin homesteader
You're a hard working mama. Great team work too. Thanks for the tour Kelsey, your future will thank you.
Thank you so much friend ❤️☺️
GOOD 👍 JOB WITH YOUR SPACE, WISHING THE FAMILY PEACE AND PEACE WITH BLESSINGS #NOT A DAY WITHOUT JESUS 🙏
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

Hi from Nova Scotia!👋 My husband and I are switching to a no till garden this year with garden boxes. So excited to get started. We're not new to gardening but definitely new to gardening like this. We were looking at how you have your garden boxes in a row with no spacing, that's different than others we have seen but would give more room for sure. Loved the video.😊
Hi Kelsey, thank you for the prayers! They work. I have gotten my third job to try to pay off my debt. Hope you are over the hump with the dental issues. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Woohoo! Praise Jesus, so happy to hear! Thank you, I’m much improved!
I should have so much in the ground, I feel behind but good to see I'm not the only one. But you are giving me so much inspiration for setting up my garden this year!
So exciting - can't wait to see it all come into being used and enjoyed.
Meee tooo! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Nice👌👍
So bare now then magic starts to happen ❤ I think the cottage is gonna look great
I love when the magic starts to happen ❤️
Great video as always. I love seeing all of the new growth it’s so beautiful to see the transformation each season.
Totally unrelated but a few videos back you mentioned having your husband in videos more often I love that idea I love seeing intact families (I did not come from one and I think it’s soo wholesome to see the whole family unit together).
P.s My husband is also a handy man/jack of all trades and I agree it’s amazing that every wish I have he can make happen 💪🏼.
Aw thank you! I’m going to be including him more as well as more family life! Handy husbands are amazing! ❤️❤️❤️
That an absolute joy. Thank you for sharing this little bit of your heart with us!
Thank you so much for coming along! Blessings! ❤️
I'm so excited I found you and your channel! I am also in PA.
Yay! Welcome ❤️
Thanks so much for the garden tour, I’m fairly new here, so hadn’t seen the whole thing. Wow, I’m super impressed by all you have done and are doing and the plans you have for the future! It looks like you have way more space than 1/4 acre, you’ve really maximized the space you do have. I’m excited to see the garden when everything is up and growing. You’re so fortunate to have a husband who will be a partner and help you with building projects. My husband is very handy, but he works hard in his business during the day and isn’t really interested in the garden or home projects. I do what I can with the energy level I have at my age.
I too have about a 1/4 acre Suburban yard that we grow all our food, raise chickens, ducks and quail as well as our daughter has a rabbit. Because we free range our chickens and some of the ducks every afternoon til bed time we have no grass in our backyard. We have for many many years put down massive amounts of wood chips and all the garden beds are fenced in with four foot tall hardware cloth. The joy for us is just how much food we can produce. We make all our own compost for the garden beds as well. Our favorite crop to grow is Jerusalem Artichokes. It provides the much needed shade for our Muscovy Duck aviary and we harvest the tubers all throughout the winter. What we don't eat we can feed back to the ducks and chickens. It's a forever food. Every plant in our backyard is an edible. Your gardens are looking good and I'm so excited to see the expansion once you take down those large shrubs.
Absolutely love what u did with this space, we also have a small yard and we turned it into a perennial fruiting garden 80% fruit which makes low maintenance and no watering, then 20% vegetable. New subscriber excited to support you ❤
That's so crazy, we have the same arbour lol
Got some seeds planted and transplants in before the rain set in. Looking good.
Woohoo! It’ll come to life soon!
Hey Kelsey, its been raining here in Ontario, Canada all week. But my husband and I are going to plant our onion bulbs tomorrow and radishes. Hopefully no more snow. We have a small backyard but we do plant quite a bit. My chives and thyme has come out already. Lemon balm coming slowly.
Hey friend! So many fun things happening and more to look forward to! Happy planting!
Hi Janice I'm also in canada and I love love to garden, I have a different style but it's so low maintenance and it works beautifully ❤❤
New subscriber excited to support you ❤❤
Yay! Thank you! So happy you’re here ❤️
Hi Kelaey. Great tour. I don't think I've ever seen the entire property. That new space is going to be a game-changer. My first thoughts were animals like goats or rabbits. Another option I'd consider if it were me is putting a small rv or cabin/shed and vrbo it. I'd love to have that space though and would definitely plant mire food and fruit trees.
So great to see you feeling better. Also love what you share pf your beautiful family. God bless you.
Hello, I am in Southeast Pennsylvania. Very South, I grew up in Maryland. Nice to meet you, God bless.
Welcome! Thanks for being here! Blessings ❤️
Great job. Those bushes also like to harbour mosquitoes... shiver... lol but they do cut the noise from the road. Hugs from Esquimalt
Yuck! They have bag worms all over them too! I’ll be glad to have them gone. Have a blessed weekend ❤️
Your garden is very neat and well planned. You've done a great job. I'm loving your channel. I'm
New to it the last couple months.
Thank you so much! I’m so grateful you’re here! Blessings ❤️
My asparagus popped up late this year too-I think just last week.
It seems to be taking it’s good old time!
Just found your channel. Also in PA. Southeast. Love your comments about Pennsylvania springs. 😂. I’m new to veggie gardening. What kind of wood do you use for your raised beds?
Hello new friend! Thanks for being here! My hubby usually picks it up but I’m pretty sure it’s untreated pine ☺️
Purchased some David Austin roses.
Woohoo! That’s so exciting! What varieties????
Harlow Carr, Scepter’s D Isle and Desdenona. All shrub roses for fragrance. They are being delivered today 😊
@@susanh3936 I hope you love them! Great picks, nothing like the scent of roses and it’s amazing how they each smell different.
Could you limb up some of those arborvitae instead of removing all of them? Just thinking of all the privacy you’ll lose. We did that with our sequoias.
I suppose replacing some of those with fruit trees would be nice.
We are actually going to try that with a few! Yes to all the fruit trees!! Blessings! ❤️
Looks a bit smokey across the street, I hope it's not Forest fire season somewhere already!
Nope! Just some fog ☺️
Hey Kelsey, I'm in Central FL. I just set up my GreenStalk (first timer). I planted two strawberry plants in one bin. My question is, as it grows down, can I trim them and keep them short so they don't root in other bins, or will that stop them from producing fruit? Also, do they go dormant, then come back on their own?
If you trim off the runners they should make more fruit.
@cynthiafisher9907 thank you
