Been watching Mr. Chimetimes since the pandemic. What i see is that since he has grown on his channel , he start tipping big tips to family owned businesses. I think this is wonderful cause those type of businesses usually are the ones that struggles the most. Great job🎉
Ethopian food is always 🔥. If you haven't tried it before do yourself a favor and do it. I live in the DMV and we have a high concentration of Ethopians and Erterians here. The food is super spicy but amazing. Doro Wat is a must try. It will change your life.
Chime : It's JUST $2000. Lord have mercy. God I see what you do for others may my kindness to other people yield a blessing in due season for me and my family and when You bless me, may I in return bless others. Amen.
It’s JUST 2k cause he’s smart enough to know it’s probably not enough to cover rent for the month let alone operating cost. It’s called being humble, acting like 2k would change their world would be highly egotistical and ignorant.
It's a joy to share your wealth. In times like these you spread hope. The fact that you cover a variety of restaurants is opening our taste buds to the world of food. We go once a month for an international cuisine. Thank you.
I think you are a hell of a person .. between the blessings you drop on the restaurants and clapping cheek hour reviews -best food review channel I’ve seen..hope your blessings continue If you ever want to open a food truck I’d just like to say I’d come work for you
Can’t stand these “keep it between you and god” ass people. This platform blessed him, so he’s blessing people back. This is simply an avenue of sharing that journey, and it is 100% a good thing all around. If moves like this make him more popular and increase his revenue that’s fine man, he’s just going to give it back anyways. You can tell this isn’t bottom line driven at all to begin with, yall just wanna hate.
I live in Charlotte and the Ethiopian food here is immaculate. You should definitely try another Ethiopian restaurant here called “Enat Ethiopian restaurant” not the optimist hall location but the one on the plaza.
Keep demonstrating what it is to show kindness. Tip away bro!! We should bless people openly so that others can see it and follow. Thank you for being you!!
Chime, You are the man. Good Job showing love to small businesses. Unfortunately, this is where I draw the line with you. I do not like any Ethiopian foods. I tried but I just can't get jiggy with it.
Ethiopian food is amazing!! If you have a platter like Chime, dump the meat on the platter with the vegetablesz so the juices mix and mingle. The spice from the tibs make the vegetables 10x better.
chime out here being the hero we need changing ppls lives, with that said i still cant let you slide calling in n out mids and little caesers under rated ima have to bring that up always but #makechimefamous
Chime is the realest one ever. I've worked in small family restaurants as the only FOH server for literally 80 hours a week for months and months at one point when I was trying to make a life on my own with nobody's help way up in Oakland, California from LA, and I can only imagine a $2k tip like the Powerball by blessing the real families who do their best to own these spots with super sensitive profit margins like most restaurants. I became a regular watcher of his channel only when I saw he was truly rewarding the hard-working people at these family-owned spots because he wanted to actually help and not make it some sort of gimmick. That and I found his videos are fantastic for keeping it all the way real and entertaining at the same time. Thank you, Chime, and I know that family is looking out for you forever.
Same here bro grew up in toledo ohio my grandpa immigrated from iran and opened a small one room tailoring shop and it kept our family afloat until he passed away. I grew up around middle eastern groceries like this and that 2k probably meant a lot to them theres a reason they are still working at that age because you jsut can't retire on the income you get. Sometimes we would bring home nothing but a few hundred dollars a week. I really enjoyed seeing this means a lot to me personally
They remind me of my grandparents local business. You have no idea how much that could mean to them. That little bump can relieve so much stress from owning your own local small business, especially on a single income at their age. They are still working for a reason, they probably can't retire. My grandparents are persian immigrants so i saw myself in them thank you for looking out for our elders. Also shout out from Toledo Ohio bro come hit up our food sometime we got a few good spots. Come check out Night Own Diner only open late 6pm to 4am they got great food.
Also brother with that platter the way it works oversease is they kind of use the middle dish and mix it with the stuff on the side to change the flavor of each bite. So you have all those significantly different tasting sides to mix with the middle meal inside the bread, and usually they give you like fresh veggies like raw onion to also put with it and further change the tastes. We are very similar like that too in Persian cuisine.
That's great they did that, because Ethiopian food does not carry well. I know loads of Ethiopian spots that suffered during the pandemic because door dash won't cut it. Definitely not seasoned like you know it. Super healthy.
Commenting once again for my homies back at Pinehurst. For the homies at night crew in the tavern in the Holly Inn that never get tipped, that bust their ass, that work all night to make incredible specials that will never sell. To S, and G, and J, and D, won't say their real names. Y'all are the reason I still try to cook, I miss you and wish, neigh pray I could have left on better terms than I had to. Be safe, be well, be the incredible people you are. If you can try em, I'm telling you ask for the special if they got one, make a call or two ahead of time for it if you gotta. The tavern never gets love and these four, they deserve every ounce of it you can give.
