2008 Ford Transit central locking recovery truck.. fault body module minibus lock unlock to earth

- 2008 Ford Transit was petrol gas but converted to diesel purchased a van and done the changeover but being the van had a side door and rear doors the cab then would not lock because it thinks that the rear door and side door was open so to get round this problem you need to earth two wires on the body module so the body module then thinks the doors are closed and the central locking then works thanks for watching..

Thank you for ur video I got my central locking working but can't get cab lights to work inside any advice on this
I fixed the problem on my t350 by replacing the wiring loom in the cargo back door (door with no handle driver side) easy job 45 minutes
Why did you need to take the black plug to bits? Havent you just cut it like the green wire?
But it still beeps? Why?
Got a 53plate Ford transit central locking problem..cant lock it..checked all doors shut ..cant see any breaks in looms..does anybody know anymore tricks..also which fuse is it thanks andy
I changed the engine on my ford transit pickup from 22euro5 to 24euro4 but I had to change the wiring loom as well but it came out of a transit van I can't get centrel locking to work can you please help me to get this sorted
Hi mate really hoping you can help. I’ve got a mk6 crew cab tipper. Central locking packed up so I brought a module off eBay. Came back to life but doing the same as yours locking then unlocking straight away. I believe it’s because the module is off a van not a crew cab tipper. Do you know what I need to do to get it working again. Thanks

Hi Pal I have a ford transit 2.2tdci 2007 motorhome iv notice condensation run down the front screen now I now have no e/windows /no heat or air con from the heater but fan blows on all speeds I thought body control module but they are water tight any ideas cheers
Hi mate I would look at all fuses..see if you have power 2 seats and follow the wiring back and see where the power stops.. you will probably find that once you find where the power stops that would be the source for all the items that are not working.. if you pull the glove box down that is a body module behind there that's not watertight..

If you pull the glovebox out you will see the body module.. at the top of the module you will see two tabs and behind it is a second fuse box
Hi mate I have a ford transit mk7 back door wont lock just makes the beep sound all the others do lock I brought a new back door mechanism but still doing the same any idear cheers
I got the same problem, trying to find a solution online. Have you mamage to sort it out yet?
My locking doesn't work from the remote 💔🤷🏻♂️

@@josephsaliba602 hi yes I fixed mine there was a break in the wire, open the back door and where the hinges is there is a peace of black tube where the wire runs to the lock mechanism I found that mine had broken inside there hope this helps

I have mk7 it was 22 euro 5 and jurned it back to euro 4 and der is no slot to clip in the third wire is der any other way to do this thank
