    Hi
This van came to me with an issue with the tail/rear lights not working correctly.
Turn signals would make the brake lights to blink, side lights would make all lights to go dim, etc...
Most of the times, this sort of issues is caused by poor ground... and guess what... follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.

Massive help thanks. However, you can buy brand new pair, including the wiring and sockets and connectors, for about GBP16. But this certainly works. The idea of fixing the ground is the main fix as it appears that is common fault with the transits. Grind the paint off the body, clean up the lug. And refit the ground. Spray paint over the connector when finished.

Great Video, I have no revering lights, i tried to clean the pins on the tail light connection, not realising that one can easily open the plastic cover so easily as you did on your video, so going to take the rear light out again, and give the reversing light terminal a proper clean, really glad i watched your very useful video, we all learn new stuff everyday.

Hi, good video I learned quite a bit. I have a similar problem and it is that the fog lamps are permenantly on but on a very low light. But talking to a friend who knows a bit about Transits he said the problem could be caused by the fact that the two bulbs are LEDs and not standard filament bulbs. He said on old vehicle replacing standard bulbs with LED.s can cause problems. I have not stripped off the light fittings yet to see the condition of them, but wonder if you feel the LEDs. could be the issue. Strange thing is that the previous years MOT did not mention this problem but I have just had a MOT test and the guy failed it on this lamp issue......and other things !
