What is ASMR?

a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

Anybody else kind of enjoy the sounds in the background that asmrtists apologize for ? I actually kind of like hearing cars, planes and random noises in the background, makes it feel more natural to me and doesn’t bother me at all:)
Birds & trains too
Certain sounds remind me of summer nights as a kid when I could sleep with the window open. Especially train noises. Used to lie awake waiting for the sound of the train on the nearby tracks. Adds a nostalgia value to the videos.

I have never seen someone do “hair placing” as a trigger and it’s my new favorite!! So tingly! 💜

I agree with you Chels!! There's a HUGE untapped market for tingle massage and brushing for tingles for the public! I'd rather pay for something like this than a deep tissue massage

Patting is a trigger that I absolutely love. I find it really relaxing - with puffs, with brushes, but most of all - fingertips! I find it really hard to find in ASMR videos, and if it’s there, only for a few seconds! Please keep adding it into your videos!!! Makes me love them even more (didn’t think that was possible! Especially after finding the hair placing!! Love that too!) xx

The hair placing is amazing! I have seen A LOT of ASMR for the last 6 years - but never that. It's such a great trigger - and I usually have a hard time getting tingles - but this did the trick! Also really good and relaxing voice :)
Emma Whispers Red has a video playing with her daughter's hair. There's a fleeting moment where she makes a point of carefully gathering her hair. It's a go to favourite of mine because I know it's going to give me tingles every time.
