- We disced that field that the corn 🌽 silage was on with the JD 4020 Case IH 3800 disc. When we were wrapping up there was an amazing sunset to the west of us and rainbow to the east from passing showers. It should be ready to plant now.

Thanks for watching 😀
Always good to see vintage iron at work as it was intended to be used. And an awesome sunset.
Runs great, burns clean
Great awesome video , love that disc and open station tractor , chews it up good
Great sounding tractor!
4020's are a all around reliable tractor. My brother has ours in our makeshift shop all tore apart right now. He is putting a new clutch in it and also overhauling the engine. It has been over 20 years since it has had a new clutch put in it, and it has never been overhauled before. It has 14,200 hrs. on it. The main bearings were stamped February 1969.
They are one of those tractors that you never hear a bad word about.
Only flaw is the John Deere tach never lasted long enough to clock it
Im surprised it even needs such a repair done to given how damn reliable these tractors are. My grandfather owns an old '63 LP model and it looks like it probably hasn't had anything more than some minor repairs here and there since it was built, yet still runs as good as it did coming of the factory floor
@@theranger7924 that's mainly because the ability of a 4020 LP was on par with 3 mules
4020 runs strong.
Dang seagulls, I use to carry a shotgun on my 5020 to keep them from crapping on me when working ground.
I never had it happen on an open station, but we’ve had droppings land on tractors also.
Add some rear wheel weights and that ol' gal might just surprise you with what she can do with that disc.
Wow 4020 footage never gets old and yours is fantastic. Prob my favorite overall tractor. The classic shape and lines on that model are perfect. She looks great and sounds great on that Disc! Thx!💪🏻👌👍
Deere knew what they were doing when they rolled the New Generation and 20 series out.
Awesome video as usual!
Thanks!
I love you're 4020!!!
Dad has a nice one! Thanks for watching !
Hay kak, hadir menyimak kak.salam sehat sukses,n suport full
Way too much disc for a 4020 but I see you are not letting it cut hardly any, probably the best tractor ever built, I own two myself, and have 13 in my family, can't beat a 4020! Great video 👍
Yeah that Case IH 3800 is a pretty light disc 👍🏻
Whoa would happen if you force the tractor with a too heavy load?
wish i had that tractor last week moldboard plowed my sweetcorn plots its rocky red clay semi mount 5 bottom plow & little case730 took all i could to keep it driving straight front end 4ft up in the air steer with brake pedals ground so hard bottoms kept tripping!
That doesn't sound fun!
What size is that disc? Looks like it pulls it well. We still run all 20 series on our farm, 4620, 4020, 3020. Great video!
21 foot 👍🏻
What size disk is a John Deere 4020 tractor rated to pull?
I think I seen you mention that disc is a 21-foot disc I wonder the 4020 would pull a 18 ft disc be recommended for it.. I'm just looking around
I'm not sure about an 18. I know this disc would be too much if we set it any deeper. We were just scratching the ground to plant winter wheat.
60 discos ,penteando a terra! Kkkkk
How to you pull a disc that big with that tractor?
It wasn’t set deep, we just wanted to scratch it enough to grain drill into.
The disxis too big for it
The disk aren't set to work there not even doing anything.
All we wanted to do was scratch the surface before grain drilling. If we wanted it deeper we would've set it deeper.
This discing is to big for itself
