You can also do something like this to make it a single button toggle: alias switchfov fov1 alias fov1 "FieldOfView 120; switchfov2" alias fov2 "FieldOfView 60; switchfov1" alias fov120 MultiCommand RemoveAlias switch; Alias switch fov2 alias fov60 MultiCommand RemoveAlias switch; Alias switch fov1 bind F1 switchfov you can also add more stages and make it loop between X amount of values if you have the patience to set that up 🙃
hey Nova, cool tips I knew almost everything, but I didn’t think FoV was so cool btw, when I played a long time ago there was a setting that after each death your equipment durability decreases, so now is it possible to spam /kill in pvp? or am I misunderstanding something?

it will only affect durability if you have pvp combat debuff when you unstuck, that debuff usually lasts for 30 seconds after you got hit or hit another player.
Hi nova if youre taking suggestions i would like to learn about surviving and progressing on PVP servers without falling behind. Ive been having lots of issues as a solo player keeping up with everyone and not getting my gear broken all the time by ganks. A lot of times i will be fighting stuff or a high level player will kill me which can be a viscious cycle of trying to progress. Im not sure the mistakes i am making
if you're solo, at least play on duo servers instead of squads. getting outnumbered is rarely fun. focus on leveling up your gear, you can build your base later when you're already gear 84 and have a worker 100 imprisoned. practice bosses in a local server, try to find out the lowest gear where you can comfortably kill them. keep learning about the game. improve your farming patterns. play a lot.

I've tried a number of builds but it's hard to find a sweet spot for progression where I can both effectively progress in PVE and deal with getting jumped. I've been crafting greatsword/axes ASAP and running aegis/blood rite but I don't know if that's good enough for applying pressure after getting jumped
fieldofview will always reset back to 60. it’s best to have a bind to set it. binds will stay even after restart. you can use console.unbind to remove it
I have an endgame gear op1 8k (mouse) I am able to bind scroll wheel up and down in the app. I have many mice and this is the only one with that feature. Besides that it’s 8k polling with the fastest switches available currently on the market. Worth a look at if you play fps as well

thanks for teaching everyone how to play with 120 FOV now and get a mini camera mod so everyone can get an advantage over players that dont use console commands, if there was to be intended to have a fov slider to 120 there should be one in the game settings. also macroing consumables is another stupid as way of macroing stuff, giving again advantage which shouldn't be there in the first place.
everything except for maybe the last thing isn't unusual, and the fov thing could just be considered cheating since you have a peripheral advantage over other players...

you only lose durability when you have combat pvp debuff.
Any tips for weapon switching? I think I saw a vid where you were quickly switching between weapons on the 3rd and 9th spot of the action bar, how?
theyre bound to an alternate key. you can bind every action to 2 keys. my 5 is also V, 6 is also G, 7 is mouse 4, 8 is mouse 5

yellow or green for open world. spellweaver when using scholar for raid defense. havent tried the others so I dont know if they are good or not.

Your mistakes are not playing in a team.
biggest thing to do is have an active team

just go rage surge or rage discharge. good for both pve and pvp
I use the fieldofview commans without binding it but it resets every restart. Does the binding save after restart?
fieldofview will always reset back to 60. it’s best to have a bind to set it. binds will stay even after restart. you can use console.unbind to remove it

that one is not a console command. it's just one of those hidden features for admins. press Ctrl + Shift then click on map to teleport.

haven't tried but if you can't do it normally then I would also have no clue. Maybe a 3rd party software that re-maps your keys can help.

it should be in the keyboard settings. something like vampiric power 1 bind. you can try Ctrl + 1

fov was removed just yesterday. also, you can have bigger fov by using a utrawide monitor.
