Looks wicked, your painting skills are really good!! How do you get your lines so straight in the liquid mask?
For this particular body I used a short (150mm), flexible ruler, and put my xacto up against that. However, that's easy with the flat sides and top of this particular body. Other times I will use some Tamiya thin masking tape for the straight lines and then liquid mask for the rest of the body. I'm still not great with the freehand cutting part. Someone like @mrcustompainting on Instagram does some insane stuff.

That gold car is super nice. Nice build! I've noticed a lot of suspicious listings coming from Japan on ebay lately. I'm seeing a lot of multiple listings for the same exact car, etc.
I've called a few of those out and then see them get removed.
Overall, this came out spectacular! Really impressed with the paint work. I just love the different shades of gold. Great idea. The gold anodizing of the servo and esc is insane.. matches perfectly. I've used Bateman's for reanodizing an RC10 chassis. He does great work. What did you use again to strip the servo and esc? Enjoyed the video and keep up the great job with the channel.
Yeah, great experience Batemans. I'm glad I didn't really understand what I was getting into with the paint scheme, because once I was going, I realized it was a TON of steps.
I used Purple Power to strip the anodizing. I've used it to strip chrome off plastic parts before, as well. You can get it at a Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc. Maybe Home Depot or Lowes as well. It helps to lightly scuff the anodize just to give the Purple Power something to start on.
