  • The new Husqvarna 572XP has to shoulder a very special jacket of the legendary 372XP who will be retired now. We got our hands on a 572XP and gave to a professional logger who tried it out for a shorter period. Here is our first review och the new chainsaw. Love the saw. Ran one at the Paul bunion show. Wicked.
    Gonna buck that big one with that bar? Oh you did.
    Just bought one. Ran a tank through it Sunday.

    That saw should be fitted with a 28 inch bar. Make it a whole lot easier to fall bigger timber.

    thanks for the review. looks like its fast, really fast. guess the question is how reliable is it? We just bought a 365 for the land clearing business for the bigger trees. was thinking...... don't want to hurt the guys with a 372xp so I will buy a 365 husky. This 572 is a monster and maybe I should of bought the 372xp, because the 365 is now slow.

    Seems to be a good saw with power, some will say that "it's only soft Spruce" but of course Sweden has a slower growth rate so it's not such a "soft" Spruce ! It seems not to suck in so much dust like the 560/550 which is a plus, the 576 is not so bad as it's smaller counterparts. I'm looking forward to the new chain just as much as the 572 !

    • @skogsforum

      @outinthewood3578 Před 7 lety

      Yes I'm sure it will. I used Stihl for years but found, for me, the Husqvarna range suited my needs better. I did a "infomercial" for Husqvarna Ireland recently and said with all truth that I was a fan and would not change easily from a brand that I believed in for my work.

    Good to see there is someone dropping trees with a chainsaw in Sweden at a professional level. Wonder how it runs stock vs. a muffler modded 562. Will be interesting to see how it holds up and how popular it is with the West Coast cutters: long bar, big dawgs, fully ported.

    Interesting that you run a 20" bar on a 70cc saw. Do you not have much need for any longer? I have the 60cc 562XP, and it runs a 20 or 24" bar very well.

    • @alexstromberg7696

      Here most People run 15" even on the 550

    • @hnorrstrom
      @hnorrstrom Před rokem +1

      In Sweden, I have only meet one guy with a longer bar than 20" on a 70cc saw.
      20" is enough to cut most fully grown trees here from one side.
      So there is not much need for bigger and longer bars/chains are also quite expensive here due to low demand.
      It is also how we are used to work.
      I have a hard time using 20" for anything but cutting logs. Most Swedes are simply brought up just using 13 or 15" on a 50cc saw.
