I think the daughter saved her, not Anakin.

In Star Wars The clone Wars, The father tells Anakin: "I am so much more and so are you"

While Ahoska's connection to the daughter through the owl is a possibility, there are reasons why it might have been Anakin. I'm not saying Anakin literally pulled her in as Ezra did previously, but may have opened a portal through the force, allowing her to be transferred to there. Anakin told her "Trust me, you lost", in regards to her fight with Baylon. Seems Anakin was viewing what was happening to her in that moment prior. She was pulled in not long after falling into the water, and it seems a portal was opened in the water and probably remained open during all of Ahsoka's experience, allowing Jacen to sense and hear their light saber dual. Anakin also controlled where they went more than once within the world between worlds, breaking the pathway with his lightsaber and seemingly sending them both into a portal to re-experience the first Clone Wars scene. From the Siege of Mandalore scene, he ushers her back into the world between worlds also. After Anakin says "There's hope for you yet", if you notice in that moment, he looks up toward the distance as it seems a sound is coming from the surface of the water. Right then is when Ahsoka turns to look toward the noise too, and when she turns back around, Anakin has vanished. Immediately after that, she is transferred once again into the water, and then rescued. He did greet her at the end of episode 4 with "I didn't expect to see you so soon", but that could have referred to the timing, not necessarily the location.

@@hdmb9180I agree. It’s also interesting to think that it could’ve been something to do with the choices ahsoka makes. In the wbw you’re able to see different outcomes from diverging paths. It's possible that she wasn't physically there at all and was in the water all along. If anyone pulled her into it, they would have done it before she ended up in the sea. I mean she literally turned young and old again, nothing in there happened physically. Could have been a Near Death Experience and maybe due to the connection with the Daughter she got a glimpse into that world to see Anakin. Also it would explain the lack of any portals, can't go through them if you're not even really there. Plus "I didn't expect to see you so soon" very much sounds like he didn't think she would die so soon, since it's not her time to go yet

When Ahsoka is pulled out of the water, both her lightsabers are neatly attached to her belt. Which mirrors exactly her appearance right before she melds into the waters in the World Between Worlds.
In the real world, Ahsoka was holding one of the lightsabers when she fell. I do not think that putting it back onto her belt before hitting the water and losing conciousness would be the highest priority. It is much more likely that during her fall she somehow slipped into the World Between Worlds physically.

Personally I don’t think Ahsoka was physically in the wbw the way she was in Rebels when Ezra pulled her in. I think she was in a deep, coma like, meditative state. So she entered the wbw through her mind and her encounter with Anakin was happening inside her head. So she wasn’t physically there but it was more like what happens to Harry Potter when he talks to the dead Dumbledore. It’s happening inside her head but it’s real. And I figured the transition at the end to her being in the water is kind of like her subconscious waking up when her physical body was actually in the water. Like when your sleeping and you dream that you need to pee which is signaling that you really do need to pee 😂. I also don’t think she was dead or dying but rather just forced into a coma like state.

I am definitely on the spectrum that anakin pulled her in there, whether it was spiritually or physically is the question though. The problem with it being spiritually is that it doesnt really explain how her body didn't drown whilst submerged under water for what we can assume was quite a long time. Hard to guess the time, but seeing as she fell in the water, Sabine had her convo with baylan, they leave the planet, Hera arrives etc etc, its an insanely long time for a body to be unconcious underwater.
So my initial theory was anakin managed to pull her into the world between worlds due to her being near dead, which puts her body/spirit closer to the plane of the dead. Her body is temporarily pulled from the real world as we can see the water remerge once their "training" is complete, thus transporting her back to the waters where he had initially pulled her from.
I'd argue Anakin pulling her physically into the world makes somewhat more sense than just spiritually as it would be a bit of an asspull for them to suggest her body survives being underwater for that long without drowning.

    • @donramon9723
      @donramon9723 Před 8 měsíci +3

Anakin was a Force vision here. But ultimately the cosmic force is the embodiment of everything. So the Ahsoka encounter with Anakin was a deeper encounter with her unconscious self and her spiritual connection with the force. She had to repudiate the teachings of her master, while fighting for her life and gaining moral clarity.
The Vader reference could be a coincidence, a nod to fans, or just the cosmic force speaking to Ahsoka with knowledge of all things.
Jacen is force sensitive and could tap into Ahsoka's mental dilemma. Reminds me of ESB when Yoda was sensing Luke's vision sequence in the cave on Dagobah as he sat nearby. Luke wasn't really fighting Vader but himself. The force revelation that he was connected to Vader. There was no such thing as WBW. That was recently added.
Ahsoka moment is similar but she ultimately defeats her demons by realizing the flawed teachings bestowed upon her by her master. She gains moral clarity. No WBW or Force ghost needed in this scenario.
but this is Disney and Filoni has introduced more wacky cartoon stuff so who knows.

Anakin cared about Ahsoka until his turn to Darth Vader. But I'd be surprised if it was Anakin because to teach her the lesson of her final training to move on from her past as well as to defeat Baylan and find Sabine. And even palpatine told him at the end of the episode that he can sense his conflict when it comes to obi wan. The story of Anakin is heartbreaking to me. Most people see him as a monster and this and that but I just see him as a person driven to the highest form of desperation and got into something WAAAAAY over his head and once he was in there was no way he could turn back. Especially after he got injured and in the shit bc in revenge of the sith he was already stronger than palpatine. Even told padme he would over throw him after he left mustafar....obi wan was literally the only person who could of beat Anakin because ONLY obi wan knew anakin weakness and his style of fighting to perfection. Even seeing Anakin crying on mustafar just speaks volumes to his regret. If you remember when padme pulled up he was crying staring out into the planet because I'm sure he had sooooo much regret for what he was getting into and what he had done. I don't think she was "pulled in" but the WBW is a place where all Jedi go when they die. Some guy on tiktok was talking about this, and said Obi-Wan was probably there to guide Anakin when he died.

Since when does someone have to pull someone into the World Between Worlds? How do you know the WBW isn't part of the afterlife or something akin to the DMT realm? No one pulled Ezra into the WBW, well, Yoda kind of did in his force vision at that Jedi temple, but then someone would have had to have pulled Yoda into it. It makes more sense that it can be accessed in multiple ways, such as meditation, ritual, death, maybe even substance use (and psychedelics are now canon because of Book Of Boba Fett when Boba snorted that sandpeople peyote lizard)

Personally I feel there are different depths to the WBW, and in order to be able to alter the past/future you need to enter at a temple point with access to jump in or out . I don’t fully think Askoka was physically there as much as mentally there. If Anakin were to kill her I feel she would still have been found in the water(just not alive). I do believe she was in the world between worlds but I do not think it was technically the same place Ezra was. The place Ashoka went in episode 5 was more spiritual compared to Ezra’s experience that was more tangible

Maybe it's fate and destiny that Sabine was supposed to venture to the galaxy that Ezra was sent to 10 years earlier, because Ezra needs her for his overall mission, which would thwart Thrawn and whatever new threats exist in The New Beyond.

Narrowing it down to Ahsoka having to be pulled in by someone else in order to get there doesn't make sense.

I was thinking that Ahsoka didn't quite get pulled into the World Between Worlds, but she was pulled into something akin to what happened to Kanan in the Jedi temple on Lothal. Much like Kanan, it was the will of the force that Ahsoka finally let go of her baggage about Anakin and continue her journey. Whether that actually was Anakin and the World Between Worlds is irrelevant; it was the exact person and place that Ahsoka needed to see and hear to fully drive home the lesson.
And since Star Wars be Star Wars, this important personal milestone had to be achieved through a flashy lightsaber fight.

In the very first Star Wars movie released (Pt 4 - A New Hope), Obi-Wan told Vader, "You can't win Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Since Anakin also somehow learned to keep his consciousness intact after death (force ghost at minimum), it would make sense that Anakin had the power to pull Ahsoka into the WBW at just the right moment. I think Anakin the the most likely given a choice between him, Morai, or the Daughter. Just mho.

It feels a bit like plot armour to be fair, however the world between worlds, for someone who is neither living nor dead in the story, had previously been there and experienced it. I genuinely believe it was in Ashoka's mind. hitting the ocean ko'd her for a minute, but as her consciousness comes back she manifests a subconscious thought of choosing to live or die and that entire set of sequences was her fighting to survive. but because it's that plain she manifested anakin, he isnt there waiting for her, he is her test and the realm manifests his behaviours to ashoka. But being in a state of neither alive nor dead was my initial post viewing thought.

I think we’re all just overthinking it. To me, this all just happened in Ahsoka’s mind whilst she was underwater. If Anakin is one with the Force at this point, perhaps he is able to influence the dreams Ahsoka has in her unconscious state, so she had a dream of training with Anakin, giving her the turning point she needed. It all could’ve happened in the space of a second before she was pulled from the water.
I know that doesn’t sound as “cool” as what everyone probably wants it to be, but half the reason we get so upset about things like this is because we get too consumed with our own head-canons that we struggle to accept that sometimes the most obvious answers are right in front of us.
Who knows, maybe this dream taking place in what looked like the World Between Worlds will convince her, next time she thinks she needs more guidance, she needs to go to the actual WBW, thinking she’ll find Anakin there - and then maybe she does, or maybe she doesn’t, or maybe she finds something darker in there.

The very first scene this new galaxy begins to enter the stage is when she finds the orb, right? and it’s in a room with the father son and daughter drawn onto the wall, and we hear the son speak. so this new galaxy must involve the son somehow.
Morgan must know this and has plans to team up with the son or control him. (the new power baylon spoke of?)
I think Marrok was a manifestation of the son through night sister magic. i think Sam witwer is going to play the son and somehow manifest himself into a new body (clone?) that can leave his world. thus creating starkiller ish type character played by sam witwer! this would give them total control on nerfing his power without upsetting fans.

Problem with this theory though is that quite a bit of time passes after Ahsoka is pushed into the water and the time they find her. Suggesting she survives submerged under water for that long whilst being unconscious is far more far fetched than Anakin or someone pulling her into that realm. I was going to suggest time stops in that realm, but that's sort of debunked by how Jacen is able to hear them fight/train.
So im leaning more towards the fact that jacen could feel her, but yet she wasn't entirely there to be more likely. But a problem with my theory however is that choppa managed to find something which couldn't be possible if she wasn't physically there. Granted his sensors might've just picked up on an anomaly which is the location where her body was pulled from or perhaps held in-tact by the force.
Perhaps that's a better answer? Her mind was pulled to the different world, whilst there, the force or anakin keeps her body from drowning.

The Anakin not knowing the Mandalor siege is also because she knew he wasn't there and her mind made up the dialog. Eveything that hapened can be explained with her being unconscious and her mind being strong and willing to live.
