@@isiahduran2041 The Grim Resolve Chapter Tactic automatically passes combat attrition, The Detatchment Ability Inner Circle allows automatically passing morale tests.
Great game guys! Can we get another pure Deathwing vs Deathguard again soon! They make such interesting matchups. Also really love the next style for showing us the army. Looks fantastic
I don't think I've ever seen a mostly bikes win a game. I think for the game to have gone differently, the ravenwing would have had to give up the left side of the board, and used the speed to swing right, ignore the slow troops and terminators, then crush the other side of the board.
That said, I thought the ravenwing had a lack of punch, most of his weapons where bad against the targets they where used against. Hind sight is 20/20 so I don't think either player did a bad job, but THOSE DICE.
I like those frag cannons on the speeder.
Now the start of this battle report caught my eye
Editing is quite nice - I generally prefer shorter battles as I can actually sit and watch them without wasting too much time.
To each their own. I prefer a longer battle so I can listen while I hobby.

54:03 the Sgt hits on 3s because the Dark Angels chapter tactic gives +1 to hit in all phases if the unit did not move in the current player turn.

I see all of those converted vengeance box bikes. That army was very cost effective to make...I got 15 of them and converted to BA bikes.

Does anyone know if auxiliary detachments count towards the detachment limit?
eg. Incursion games have a limit of 2 detachments, so if one takes 2 auxiliary detachments are they done?

“In an area surrounded by Ancient Ruins, the Raven Wings, lead by the Talonmaster, are tasked to investigate due to an incoming threat rumored to arrive, things started good till a foul rotting smell filled the area, suddenly the sound of cannon fire is heard as a cannonball falls from the sky and makes impact on a group of Raven Wings, another foul stench fills the air after a few Raven Wings were killed by the blast, as the Talonmaster notices the incoming threat, a Death Guard unit lead by Lord of Virulence approaches, the 2 Leaders eye each other then declare a war cry as the units clash as blood, rotting flesh, and metal fill the area till it ends with only the Talonmaster of the Raven Wings surrounded by the Death Guard, refusing to surrender to a group of traitorous Space Marines, he continued to fight but unfortunately falls to the Chaos Space Marines of the Demon God, Nurgle. The Death Guard secure the victory as the plagues infest the ancient ruins. Mortarian and Nurgle would be proud.”

One thing that’s puzzling me is counting up the victory points. I thought you only started to do that from turn 2 onwards?

Hey great battle report! But i have a question. How come the ravenwing have 3 elite choices in an outrider detachement? You can only have 2? Or did i mis something?
I forget the exact wording but the rules say something like you may include one command squad unit(apothecary, champion, ancient) without it taking up a slot for every black knight squad.
I love Ravenwing, more this please. On a side note ATV’s and the LS vengeance aren’t core and don’t get rerolls from characters

All Deadly Pathogens increase the strength of the weapon by 1 in addition to their other effects. That means the lord's flamer woild be str6. It would have pitright killed the flyer (needing only 3s to wound because of contagion).

You'd think the Corvus Hammers would be used by the RavenGuard instead of the RavenWing as their Primarch was "The Crow", then again RavenWing are just a RavenGuard Copycat to me so...
Nice battle report as always. I would say keep a bottle of allergy medicine nearby to prevent the more than often sniffle breathing on camera

The range of arch-contaminator, the strench of DG weapons, ATB aren’t core, apothecary can’t heal them because they aren’t bikes any more, ....
@@Elipe85 apothecary heals any infantry or biker unit. Not just core. They got that right
