Thank you for doing this series! I'm Scottish and I've loved watching the Clyde series and others but I spent 5 months living and playing music in San Marinoover the past couple of years and I've grown a connection to the place and the people so how bizarre that I find you making this series.

Never thought I would see an FM creator not be happy about getting in the CL or vise versa, but here it is.

Love the series, you should try it with the real foreign player rules: maximum of 2 non eu players in 25 man squad and the squad has to have 1 Sammarinese player.

Congratulations. I have a challenge idea that might interest you. I currently live In Tochigi in Japan, and the local team here Tochigi SC are second from bottom in J2, sacked our manager and got a new one last week as we had lost something like 6 or 7 on the bounce and are one of the favourites to go down this year. Challenge would be a bit tough but not as hard as San Marino I imagine.
1. Get Promoted to J1
2. Win J1
3. Win Asian Champions League
4. (if you are feeling particularly sadistic towards yourself) - win Club World Cup or World Cup with Japan
Marcel Desailly getting a stadium named after him in Rennes, when he is a club legend at their rivals Nantes, is wild to me. It would be like United building the Phil Foden Stadium.

Next series, the Head Coach Challenge: National League North/South to Champions League winner, but staff are in charge of transfers and contract renewals. You can't touch them, you can at most tell staff to negotiate them or add players as transfer targets.

Honestly you should do a Build a Nation save, because honestly it feels like you are a pretty good FM player and Building a Nation is a good save idea, but I was thinking you could do a specific kind of Build a Nation, instead of playing in a league for that country, you basically do a European save with a very specific rule: You can only hire foreign players from the nation that you are trying to build up, like say for eg if you wanted to build up Chad from Africa, you would only be able to hire foreign players from Chad or to use an Oceanic example you could only buy foreign players from New Zealand thus creating a challenge in which you are trying to build that nation in terms of international quality.
For eg. I did something similar but with me coaching LOSC Lille with the A-League playable and I hired mostly foreign Australian players and got to the Final of the World Cup losing to Spain 1-0 in the first attempt before I started playing around with attributes and stuff like that because I find it weird players don't develop from training at the International Level when if you are picked for an International team you would train with them and develop further especially if you are young, and I was using 19-25 year olds as the base for my Australia side because the best players were all young and in Europe. Basically my idea came from the fact that Australia performed the best in a World Cup 2006 when we had a team of players mostly appearing in Top 5 leagues in Europe so it doesn't matter which league you pick it just needs to be a top 5 league.
I think you should keep this going until you have won the champions league, or produced a genuine San Marinese wonderkid.

I don't think it's possible to obtain Sanmarinese nationality in game since it takes 30 years residing in San Marino AND renouncing to any other citizenship (same scenario as India and China) to get it in real life.
