No, mine 53 and has no sensor. Check if it has a sensor or not.

Quick question mate , that flexi you showed I can see you can buy a repair kit pipe but how is that attached to the cat as it don’t look like it’s got any clamps ?

Wouldn’t bother with a repair kit, just buy the whole downpipe👍🏻

Downpipe kinda confuses me
If I fit a downpipe can I leave my cat in or does the downpipe remove it?

UK be like : if it does not smoke we don't check at MOT
EUdssr and Germany: 1% more NoX and you go to jail .

Last years mot my 05 320cd 's emissions test was near enough nothing, 0.4 somthing percent when its allowed 3.0. All I could think was how much smoke must you put out to fail, the worst remap in the world so its just blowing coal out the back all the time I guess.

@@sneekeruk in Germany theyPrecisely measured the amount of nox you put out So they are just small abbreviations to have and well if you don't have a DPF you fail and then your car will not be registered or like be allowed to be registered to be driven on the road

Very awkward for sure, had to do it with a spanner and rachet spanner

@@GeorgeAusters well as of now I finally got the motor out of the car, I was doing an engine swap after the original blew. The nuts were a pain but I eventually got them. Love the videos, learned a lot about my car watching these.

@@GeorgeAusters I've got the two bolts off, struggling with the O2 sensor, do you know the size off the top of your head of the spanner I need? Alternatively, where does the plug end so I can unplug it?
