Thank you!
I am so sad that IAM not there !!!! It's the year the music came a live
And Paul Schaefer as the MC, and Ms. Erykah Badu presiding over the whole thing
2023 and I still think that was the luckiest kid to be on the stage stacked with legends in the music industry
AND the movies, too!
WHø DA FøK =THÁ'T...TWAT/kit
in 4 minutes there is more talent than a whole year of MTV is capable of showing
I love this movie and this segment. So much talent on the same stage. I still look for it and play it to lift my spirits. And after all this time it still does that.
You can say THAT again!
I am from Poland - this is my favorite movie (I am 50+) - fantastic music - my older soon likes it also
Einer mit den besten Filmen aller Zeiten schon hundert Mal angeschaut 😊😊😊
This is one of the greatest blues combo of all time. Pure legends. R. I. P. To those passed on since the film was made.
Seeen this a hundred times, but still one of the greatest collection of talent to jam together ever.
Greatest cast of musicians to ever walk on a stage!
Actual musicians playing actual instruments. So sampling, auto tune or turntables here! Pure talent by the bucketload.
This is still one of the best jams ever. so many voices, so much talent it actually hurts. I don't know how many times i have played it...
Éric Clapton
Dr, John
All of them great musicians & singers together, you will never see that again!
The Blues Brothers Rock!!
Was there EVER a greater band than this? What a lineup. I'd give an arm to have been there watching this and would have given up both legs for ten seconds on the same stage. Just awesome.
+MrPeterpiper1969
No sir there was never a better collection of musicians in one place.
you idiots say that every videos you see, you must have emotional troubles.
Hell no this is the best you can ever get
@@danconway5505maybe Woodstock... but not at the same time.
How the HELL could anyone down-thumbs this? It is so rare to have this much extraordinary talent in one place at one time. Some of which are no longer with us.
Some people are young and have no taste for talent.
FrustratedNameSearch let's just say, this will never happen again.
Probably has something to with the sheet one has to get through to get here. It's always about the buck, right?
wow I cant get over that....what a great array of talent!!!!
Net Rngr billion Royans. Daughter
This is so amazing. Can you imagine being there to witness it? Damn.
This is obviously a movie, in real life that stage would burst into flames from the shear talent alone.
And in the dying embers, stands a woman, in a red, glistening dress. From the thigh slit down, the best legs that ever walked the earth, wearing red stilettos. Tina is her name.
Blues Brothers with Dan Akroyd and John Goodman. I watch this every time it's on just to see all the talent that's in it. But this blows me away.
Absolutely. What I wouldn't give to swap places. Unfortunately, time marches on and these extraordinary musicians pass on too. Epic stage though.
Word
Even one musician on that stage over shadows ALL the new ‘talent’ these days. What in the hell has happened to music now? All of it is garbage, country going rapdigital voice enhancement. All crap. Give me Hank Williams, early Motown, good blues and rockabilly 24/7.
I feel sorry for the tone deaf, ignorant and lost souls who voted thumbs down on this talent, I would ask if they can do as well as these talented people on stage
Hello how are you doing..?
One of the greatest collection of r&b musicians ever gathered on the stage at the same time. I can only imagine the energy in that place. Ive had the fortune of meeting and hanging with about half of them in my lifetime. They were the greatest times ive ever had. Thanks dad i love you.
Should have had Jerry Lee Lewis with them
@@RJ1999x he was busy chasing these guys grand daughters around the playground but youre right him slapping those keys would have been cool. Ive always wondered why they didnt have johnny lang come back and jam in that scene. I get goose bumps watching those Gods of R&B and soul all together. Soul moving event.
@@davidreynolds4684 I know that's a joke, but you do realize a lot of entertainers were married very young, Loretta Lynn was, Tammy Wynette, just to name a few.
That was more fake news for people to be fake outraged by
@@RJ1999xä
@@RJ1999xI think Jerry Lee was mostly country music by then. But to be fair, Travis Tritt was there so I would have loved to see him as well! I think that by having Travis there they would make up for the jokes about country folk in the movies (Bob’s Country Bunker, the Neo-Confederates).
I'm so jealous of that kid, being around all those great musicians.
god damn it I thought there was a fly on my screen for a second there.
It's great that the young man got to meet so many great people ❤
🪰🪁🦟...
The Blues will never die unless WE let it.
Dan Conway You don't listen to blues, you live it.
If we don't let it die, it won't die!
As long as there is the Mississippi River Delta, there will be the BLUES!!!
Terrific music! Great to see all the singers and musicians who made up our life.
WHY DONT WE ALL GET ALONG LIKE THESE FOLKS HAVING FUN AND ROCKING IT
A much better musical ending than the first movie. And with this much talent, who is going to argue!
Probably one of the best songs in the movie. - Awesome Lineup. They don't make music like this anymore...
loved BB in this one.... RIP Mr. King
i was born in 68 but I love music in this era this video get's me going and puts me in a great mood this has to be one of the best music videos going. Let's hear it for Gary Us. Bonds and the Gator boys!
All the greats together. It’s a true shame they a going away to never be replaced the singers of today do not compare.
Can’t even come close.
Agree Hard to get old , our heroes disapere
Sensational..Never gets old. So many greats together plus the kid is the best....Thank you to all.
I am a preschool teacher, and I use the call and response part of the song all the time to get the attention of all my kids. It is like a signal to them to stop talking and get ready for the next part of the day.
Hello how are you doing..?
I'm privileged to have grown up listening to these musicians as individuals and to hear them all in one band is a hearts desire
So many greats in this are gone now. BB King, Bo Diddley, Donald Duck Dunn, Lou Rawls, Issac Hayes, Koko Taylor, Alan Rubin, AKA Mr Fabulous, Clarence Clemons.
Matt "Guitar" Murphy also passed away in June.
Пропустил и звёзды другие имеются🤫
Used to watch this and the first one with my dad all the time till he passed. Always good memories with this movie. I kinda want 1 more movie tho but I also think its fine as is.....
Gonna be hard getting the band back together without any horns

Incorrect list. Please, get it right or don't bother.
I wish this would have lasted longer. They could have just sung the verses over and over.
Hello how are you doing..?
Absolutely ine of the greatest collections of talent ever placed on one stage at one time
Sure was special having all those artists on the stage,,,
That's one hell of a lot of talent on one stage!
Hello how are you doing?😊
I think we can all agree we wished that we were there
a lot of the legends in this has passed way
Now this is the real definition of Super Band..
I am born and raised in Louisiana and this is our music can nobody do it like us and i do mean nobody.
a mi me gusta es genial
you got that right, you can't just get that New Orleans jazz sound, or that cajun sound it has to be in your blood.
a mi me gusta su blues de los blues brothers porque es divertido
You must be proud of that...
I think it's tragic how many people don't know this song
the largest collection of the greatest artics in one location. love it!
May 14, 2015 will go down as the day that the blues has died. RIP BB King. Even though you are gone, you music will live on.
So blues didn't die, but of course, its lost one his master.
amen, and may he r.i.p. and play the blues with God in heaven with angels.
+classicdiva4u I'm sorry to disagree with you friend, music died on August 27, 1990, the day Stevie Ray Vaughan's helicopter went down. He is the guitar GOD. No one has ever played better than him.
Except for half of the guys in this video that were his idols. Yougnuns!
911ambulancegirl Stevie Ray Vaughn was on the best period in the top 5 all time greats. When your that high its like splitting hairs on a frog to decide who is the best. You have the likes of Chet Atkins Jerry Reed Eric Clapton in there along with Stevie Ray Vaughn.
All legends of blues and rock together here omg.
Hey how are you doing..?
They might be all gone, but the music they made is still here forever
We got Elwood still
Mexican man here, and Erykah Badu is still the most beautiful woman I ever saw!
it all good...i luv Performing this song with my Rockin Party Band every weekend....fun fun
I can confirm it Franco. It's Travis Tritt. He does a lot of country music, but he's REALLY good at a lot more.
Probably the best movie I've ever seen.
The original movie is leaps and bounds better.
I think they were counting on people Nostalgic for the original movie than anything when they made this.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible movie, but they could have done a lot more with it.
While filmin this movie, it turned into a big ass jam session! I would have loved to be an extra in the audience!
Hey how are you doing?
This was to music what the dream team was to basketball. In other words....AWESOME!!
Love it , Love it . A sixties classic never been beaten . long live music.
Long live the Blues
RIP to many of the performers in this video. Gone to soon.
boy,do I miss those days when people cared, and looked out for each other especially the children there was Harmony Back In Those Days and there was a little more love. and you actually could find real men that didn't just care for themselves
I love this part from de movie, I cant forget this times when I was a child My life was perfect :) 2018 now ssonud its my favorite :D Am gonna follow lissen to future :)
Blues Brothers is about the music Man. all the music. Jake would be proud.
R.I.P Koko Taylor, Clarence Clemons, Lou Rawls, Donald Dunn, Grover Washington Jr (Saxaphone), Bo Diddley, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Billy Preston, Alan Rubin, and Isaac Hayes, If I missed anyone, please forgive me.
Charlie Musselwhite, BB King
Metro Boomin Ugh, Charlie Musselwhite is alive.
And now you can add Dr. John, Aretha Franklin, and Mr. Matt Murphy(Aretha Franklin's husband in the movie) to that list.

How the world didn't implode with all that talent on one stage is beyond me... 👐
Fucking awesome to see them Memphis Stax musicians. RIP Duck Dunn.

So much talent! Great times captured in a movie 🔥🔥
Un filmato e un'interpretazione semplicemente fantastici!!!!
Anytime I part company with someone I like, I always say Further up the road. TY Elwood. RIP Jake.
There should had ben a third movie

I see so many favorites-- I see Jimmie Vaughan, Charlie Musselwhite, Koko Taylor, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, Steve Cropper, Donald Duck Dunn, B.B. King, Stevie Winwood... what a band! All of them masters! I'm sure there's a few I don't recognize, like the long-hair white guy on guitar...

Me recuerda cuando lo veíamos con mis hijos en la cama los sábados en los años 90!!
Lindos recuerdos! !
Hello how are you doing?
I remember seeing this movie for the first time. When it came to this scene I was blown away. How the hell did they get this band together??? I would love to see the outtakes!
They were together for a SRV memorial concert. Everybody was there.
Onlt the best ever!!! Thanks for the upload!!

Sweet Home New Orleans
Great film great music tks for the upload
Charlie Musselwhite is also playing with the LGB
This is ma' favorite movie ever♥
What a line up of the best musicians. Yea.
I think THIS is heaven.....
best super group ever.
I was in elementary school when John Belushi died, but I remember hearing about the speedball overdose that killed him. We heard so many lectures from teachers, and PSAs during our Saturday morning cartoons, about “Say NO to drugs.”
As a kid, it started getting obnoxious and annoying (I won’t do drugs! Just please SHUT UP!). However, as an adult, I see what a dark time it was in the 90s, with so many talented young people dying way too soon from drug abuse. They would be 50 or 60 today.
The Blues Brothers 2000 wasn’t the last time John Goodman had to fill in for talent taken way too soon. As much as I enjoyed “The Emperor’s New Groove”, It could have been so much more.
Chris Farley died exactly the same way as John Belushi (speedball overdose). Had he lived, and gotten the help he so desperately needed, he could have voiced Pacha the peasant opposite to David Spade’s Emperor Kusco.
If they'd stuck to the drugs and laid off the alcohol and junk food, they'd both still be here.
Paul Schaffer was the original keyboardist for the Blues Brothers but he couldn't appear in the first movie due to scheduling conflicts. He was replaced by Murphy Dunne for the 1980 movie, but was eventually able to appear in the sequel.
You do know that Willie Hall plays the drums, right :-)
My bad, I meant Murph Dunne. It was Steve Jordan that was replaced by Willie Hall.
Murphy Dunne was part of Rufus and Chaka Khan band back in the day. Khan was also in the original Blues Brothers Movie.
Max Power to
Max Power Willie Hall is the drummer.
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!
Man, i love this song
I very glad that they have this scene in the movie with all these famous blues and country performers guitar players professionals because was only a few years after this movie came out did these individuals in this scene part of this super group set they started to die off so some of the individuals are no longer with us
Annakara73 you nailed it! With Love!!!
RIP B.B. King thank you
They don't make music and movies like this anymore
Amazing and fantastic
Magic sounds warms the heart
I could watch over, over and over
Clicked this by mistake, but by golly I liked it
Hey how are you doing..?
Sure hope they took a couple of great photos with all those guys on stage either for promo or personal purposes.
It's sad to think how many blues stringers in this clip heaven called home...
How lucky to be in the audience,so jealous.
Hello how are you doing..?
This happens every Tuesday night at Flobama in Florence Alabama. Albeit on a smaller scale. But the likes of Will McFarlane, Kelvin Holley, Gary Nichols, Spooner Oldham, Noble Thurman, and you never know who might show up like Mike Farris from the Screaming Cheetah Wheelies, the Beehive Queen, The Son of Percy Sledge and more .
God damn, I need some sunglasses!
Hello how are you doing?
the plot of blues brothers 2000 was nothing new, but the music was just amazing.
I love him so much
They are on a mission from God and they will be blessed the same way that they blessed us with their music
