- So since it has been about a day since the Genshin Impact 4.2 update went live, I think it's high time I present you the new voice lines of All Archons talking about Furina.

Zhongli praised her dedication, Ei praised willpower, Nahida praised her big brain power move...then there is Venti who just goes let's party with her.
I mean all those praising will not ease her suffering all those years let just say venti just want her to have fun after all those burdens she carries as she finally live as herself

it's exactly in character though. "she's got enough stress let's have fun and invite her to windblume"
Because the other Archons only sees the god-side of Furina and that’s not bad but Venti sees the human-side of her. It goes to show that Venti has the most empathy among the archons.
Venti imo likes to hint at stuff or be coy and I think we will find out that Furina doing what she did probably changed the tragetory of Teyvets fate as a whole and not just fontaines (we did find out that the heavenly principles can be tricked after all, which means that its possible that other will now use that for their own advantage)
She played the role of a god for 500 years non-stop,
being an archon or a human doesn't matter anymore, she earned the title.
Honestly she deserves to be an actual Archon just for that ngl

@@SundaysNumber1Fan she used to be an oceanid, but like the rest of the Fontaine citizens she was turned into a flawed human by the previous archon, however she was a God human due to the powers given by celestia. Then she split off her divine power and memories and put them into the Oratrice, basically making two separate beings. The divine: Focalors in the oratrice, and Furina the vessel that forgot everything and is powerless. Just a human.

@@ToscaTee Like Neuvillette remarked in his voiceline about Furina, she "channelled" her madness to keep up the facade for centuries. I think Furina was long past her breaking point, and little of her past self remains now. It's quite tragic, but I also find her very admirable, as she still kept herself together before other people, demonstrating her unwavering willpower.

The title of Hydro Archon itself may not exist anymore, and Furina may not have the power of one either, but to be recognized as equal by gods is no easy feat. Furina is truly a god in her people's hearts, and will be the only one to age.

I mean she did get a vision, I would say she is in the lore now as powerful as other vision holders, if not more so due to her latent connection to the ex-archon (being her vacant vessel).

And Furina got hers extremely shortly after gaining her freedom while still dealing with immense trauma, depression and PTSD.
Turns out her mental fortitude and willpower is equal to the gods.

The only reason she didnt get it instantly the moment she was no longer archon was because her ambition and idea of justice was not incredibly prominent until she resonated with herself once again for the musical. She made a rule to never again set the stage so she would not be harmed like that again. But she made the sacrifice a fair trade of sacrifice for salvation. if she wasnt ever the archon according to the heavenly principles durinf her 500 years of suffering she would have gotten one long ago for her sacrifice in order to protect the nation.
Yup. Furina stands equal beside the archons as a human among gods. She may not have the power of a god, but her willpower is equal to one - enough to be recognized by the other archons.

I just feel sad what we did to her in the trial pushing her to the dead end as she look devastating and desperate to hide the truth just so that people will not die yet we uncovered her truth making her believe she fail her mission and that 500 years of suffering were waste for nothing.

@@Nakuweed-samurai Yea, rationally speaking the conflict was understandable, Furina was trying her best to guard her secret, the traveler's party was doing their best trying to save Fontaine (noting that Fontaine was already at the brink of disaster). But emotionally, it was just really sad to see Furina in such a state..

A human gained worthy of the title of Archon is an interesting concept although she is technically an archon by origin as she is the human half of Focalors.
Even though she's not an archon anymore, i hope they still include her in the archon squad and arts. She deserves to be with them for eveything she's done.
if I remember correctly, Focalors and Furina are the same person but were separated into 2 entities after receiving the archon title , one as a human and the other as divinity to fool the heaven principle. Anyway, I think she deserves the title of archon by simply having the same level of willpower and endurance of a regular archon.

What if his words about "saving an entire world" isnt just a beautiful words? What if he is hinting that the key to save Teyvat is to deceive Celestia? I mean Focalors not only fooled them, she also returned authority to a dragon. This must be a huge deal for heavenly principles and they might be kinda sweating rn. I cant wait for Natlan and Snezhnaya to see what will happen

Not entirely asleep. Celestia might've installed spies to monitor the traveler and Teyvat while they recuperate. Paimon being their puppet fits the bill(although Paimons probably unaware that she's being used as a surveilance cam)
@@SentenceToDESU I think this is something that's been hinted at for a long time at this point. So many tragedies in Teyvat's history can be traced back to various forms of punishment doled out by the Heavenly Principles. Personally I'm finding the Tsaritsa and the harbingers to be more and more reasonable with everything we learn about Celestia.
She fooled literally EVERYONE, not a single person caught on until the prophecy was in full motion. Even the people closest to her never doubted her title until the prophecy required them to, her dedication was SO strong that even her SUB CONSCIOUS kept up the performance, she carved her character into her SOUL.
I find it intriguing that Venti seems to be dodging the fact that she deceived the heavenly principles, in comparison to Ei and Zhongli, especially since this is VENTI we are talking about

Love that both Focalors and Furina are getting love for what they did, Focalors being the mastermind and Furina despite her human consciousness being able to keep up a mental act for centuries

Tbh. I think his avoidance seems telling Venti we know isn't telling us the full story in general, he has kept secrets from us about other stuff. To me it seemed the heavily principles was tricked a little to easily. I wouldnt be surpised if Focalor's plan didn't 100% work. And from my point of view, I feel like Furina is more than your average human I wouldn't be surprised if she was still somewhat "God-like" like its hidden deep within her somehow I mean she can change her alignments at will which seems really powerful of an ability. Maybe some of Focalors power returned or is within her somehow?
Love Ei's take on things, and relating to her own battle of will. It was very high praise for Furina. I think they could get along.

Everyone's opinion about furina changed quite quickly from, Bratty Archon to Lord and Savior, ngl i didn't expect the story to turn out like that.

She deserve all the love for her tenacity in 500 years, just pity some people of Fontaine hating her because she can't do anything. I want to give her all the love. Definitely the best girl ever 😭

Arlecchino was quite right to question whether Furina had any emergency plans. And considering what happened, she clearly didn't have any. Sure she doesn't have powers, but she could've used her position to employ the resources and manpower of the Fontaine government to prepare emergency measures. In the end, the Fatui were the ones providing supplies and backup, while Wriothesley has a flying ship for rescues.
@@acedias12 no manpower is enough to protect people of fontaine from the seawater. I mean didn't you you see in the end that the whole freakin city was flooded with water. What emergency plan could she plan to dodge that.

But she is, and always will be, the Goddess of Justice.
And while some people may not realize how important her actions are, those in the know will always respected her.
I hope we get a story quest to spread her story and what actaully happen for the respect she deserved.
Furina will always be Fontaine's archon in my heart. She deserves that title after all she went through the last 500 years. I want to give her a hug and tell her I'm proud of her. 🥺

Raiden one is the most beautiful. Both last for 5 hundred years in their respective agenda (plane of euthymia for raiden, acting as hydro archon for furina) but raiden is god, furina is human

Her willpower alone to stick out and protect Fontaine just by keeping a secret for hundreds of years is enough to prove that she’s worthy of being among the archons even if she’s human

I finished the Archon Quest a few hours ago...man, having no one to confide in, and hide who you truly are for the sake of saving a whole nation, the people past and present and future.
Even seeing the moment Neuvillette realized the heavy weight Furina was carrying, alone, for 500 years hurt.
And several other moments in this Archon Quest had me on an emotional roller-coaster.
Both Sumeru and Fontaine hit me in the feels.
I need to see an event where all the Archons get together and just have fun. Like they're all going sightseeing in each other's nations like it's a road trip where they stop at every single tourist trap. Just imagine Ei indulging in different treats from across Teyvat, Nahida playing hopscotch with the other Archons, Furina and Venti putting on a performance, Zhongli making everyone tea and telling them stories. HOYOVERSE GIVE US THIS I'M BEGGING

Other mentioned that Venti may think that she is beyond receiving praises, already thinking highly of her for putting her people's freedom to live first, and just want to give her the best party ever as a reward for her efforts.
Venti's cooking for sure. Since after the Fontaine Archon quest, most people have realized in Hindsight now, that Venti gave the dragon sovereign powers to Dvalin. Just a matter of time to see what comes of it now.
When even nahida admits she is rather smart it makes me look back on everyone who said she was dumb back when first meeting her.

As much as people would love her to continue becoming an archon, it's a little sad to hear that Furina's curse was gone the moment Focalors died.. So even if she did still sit on the throne, she wouldn't last long since she's now a mortal

I actually think its quite telling that out of all the archons, Venti tries to initially sway the conversation away from Furina deceiving Celestia to her just being an actor. Its only until he is pressed about it, does he quickly make an ambiguous statement of her being an artist. Its a stark contrast from the other archons as they're willing to go more in depth with what happened in Fontaine; Venti seems reluctant, which could hint that he knows something about Celestia that we don't.

Shit!, A musical with Venti & Furina, I am sure this will be an upcoming event, especially how hints for the poetry event of liyue and mondstadt had showed from other events like the lanter fest hehehe
This is only my theory, but in my opinion while Furina is now a mere human, she is only one recharge away from godhood.
What I mean is, yeah she is the "shell" of Focalors, but a an empty bottle of wine is still considered part of the wine.
The thing is, while right now the bottle is empty bc the content is moved to another bottle (Neuvillette) if she somehow got near another source of power, it could easily be refilled into another bottle of wine.
Furthermore, Furina is an empty bottle that is ready to be filled, unlike other human/vision bearers that need to be molded anew (asend/died first, like Vanessa's case), to retain divinity. So, in case of for example Neuvi died, or Celestia falls & their accumulated power is released, Furina might be able to asorb it & became a god once more.
It was why despite everyone else calling her a fraud, none of the Archons differentiate Furina from Focalor. For them, they're the same, just with a different role. You don't suddenly not became a God when you lose the gnosis, every archon before this is the living proof. It's just that she is now a human, like how Venti probably would revert to his wind-spirit form if he loses his powers, or Nahida becoming a mere branch once more.

Hmm, I get what you're saying. But this case is different because the entire throne is gone now. The divinity of an Archon is supposed to act as a middle man between humans and Celestia. Now there is no middle man, Neuvillette has his full power which is not dependent on Celestia at all so he can even grant Visions (which is how Furina got hers as a human) while other Archons cannot. Normally this would put a human one step closer to the possibility of ascending to the heavens, but that is Celestia's decision at the end of the day. Since Celestia is no longer involved with Hydro vision bearers it's impossible for Furina to ever ascend back to true godhood. Neuvillette granted her a Vision which is essentially sharing a shard of his power with her, and I think that is the best thing that could have happened in this scenario.

My case was made in a scenario of what if, those two that are just brimming with power, ever falls? Where would their power go next?
The thing is, Archons are a God first before they're an Archon. It's why we have Salt God Halvia, and Xiao's old Master. _Gnosis_ is the actual bridge between Humanity & Celestia. In my opinion, Focalors sacrifice her divinity to make sure the Gnosis goes to Neuvillette without Celestia's interference (aka erasing tge throne of Hydro Archon), not just to make up Neuvi's lack of power.
And like, the thing is Furina's body is still a body of a God, just without the divinity. It's a ready-made empty bottle that can be filled with anything (while normal human are incomplete glasses that need to be molded first)
So, if she ever come into contact with _any_ divinity, not just Hydro based or Celestia sourced (ex. Remains of Osial's sealed power, and old God that was sealed, even Irminsul Divine Knowledge) She should be able to absorb those divinity, and "ascend", unlike normal people that would go mad.
It's not about how she will never become the Hydro Archon once more, (because it is true, Focalor did erase that) it's the posibility that Furina may be able to store enough power in her body that she will became a God once more, hence becoming part of the Seven most powerful existence _again_ (....or at least that's my theory)
Quite a few people asking whether "Furina" is an Archon or Human. In simple terms, Focalors split herself into two, One her divinity for which she kept the name "Focalors" as is, and the other as Human Form and named that form as "Furina". Both Furina and Focalors were a single entity one was just pure divinity and the other is a simple human. Focalors made "Furina" believe that she is her mirror self and needs the help and played her part.
So apparently the people's perception of the situation is that what Furina said about giving her power up for "Indemnidium" is what is accepted as the truth amongst the Fontanians. So people still see her as an Archon. Might be for the best, IMO. I still feel like the situation is extremely fragile, and a whole nation finding out about Furina's secret would probably spell trouble for Fontaine as a whole.
TLDR: Zhongli was even more right, Furina will go down in history as a God of Justice worthy of praise. Fake it till you make it, right? Maybe she'll ascend to Celestia when her day comes.

Its kinda profound how much Ei and Furina suffered so much.
Its even more mind blowing when you think that Ei suffered just as much but for a longer time.
Isolated for 500 years inside the Plane of Euthymia and another 500 years fighting against the Shogun puppet.
Imagine if Furina had to suffer for a millennium. Would be unending torture even for a strong-willed human like her. 😢
Or the fact that Ei during 500 years play both the rôle she have as the kagemusha (battle part of the electro archon) and the Makoto part (ruler part of it) after the cataclysm but don t choose it and was force to assume the rôle as she considerate pré quest 2 nothing more than a weapon who exist only to protect Makoto and Inazuma. She doesn t even considerate herself as a living being and make her litteral life go after Inazuma 😢
So it's finally confirmed, Ei fought against the puppet for half a millennium inside that plane. That should give her quite the leverage in the whole "current strongest archon" debacle. And if I'm honest, I do think she is the most powerful as of now
It's been confirmed for ages hasn't it? But yeah, she's probably the strongest archon at the moment. If you want more evidence, look at the map of Inazuma with that massive scar that stretches across three islands from where she killed Orobashi to the area in front of the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Having gods praise you must be a wonderful feeling but knowing Furina's suffering there's no doubt she wants to remain human from now on. Props to her tenacity!
All archons praise her to be worthy of respect and recognition but fontain people and oh NPC ridiculed her for what she did what an ironic.

Even though Furina lives her life like a normal human being, she’ll always be the Hydro Archon to me. Playing her part for 500 years is so suffocating and sorrowing just to protect her fellow Fontainians. I used to hate her so much during the early archon quests, but now after finishing it, I can’t help but thinking what will Furina be in the future. There’s this longing emptiness prolonged in my heart. Thank you, Furina. 😢
I've never thought of watching Ei pronounce such words, but it is true what she spoke. She spent a long time in confinement completely alone, but she has the determination of an archon. It's a wide help. Furine, on the other hand, was a simple human pretending to be an archon. Perhaps she was "free" to "go where she pleased," but that was not completely true. She was chained to a promise, the promise of being and acting as an archon, so she couldn't enjoy her true life. Not only that, but she was also confined to solitude since she was unable to talk to anybody about her feelings and her weight. She was a mere puppet of destiny, suffering silently. Just too much to bear for a simple human and for such a long time.
Furina might be not an Archon anymore but she will remain as on of the greatest among her people as she commit the greatest sacrifice and save her nation, she indeed a true archon weather is not the hydro archon...
Damn Venti what secret you kept so tight.
Even if the throne doesn’t exist for now, Furina will be Fontaine’s archon. Her willingness to the act and to save everyone is enough to grant her the title of a god herself.
I have a feeling we will see Furina again, alongside the rest of the gods, bearing Focalors’ powers.

If you think about it, Focalors did similar methods to other archons we met and outdid them all. Furina deserves all the respect, especially from these guys especially!
Exactly!! Zhongli faked his death and handed over the gnosis, but he still has divine powers and is under the watch of the Heavenly Principles.
I would like to see Furina meet Baizhu, a human who suffered from his immortality and one that want to live forever... :^

Just finished the quest, I read every word of it without skipping anything and my god I feel so bad for Furina. I wish the MC can just interact with her one more time to give her some gratitude, cuz all she did was walk away. At the same time she does deserve some rest after 500 years

It's so refreshing to see that the archons appreciate Furina's force of will and commitment
None of what she has done is something that they couldn't do, Ei herself went to battle for 500 years without rest, which is arguably harder than Furina did
but they ARE gods and Furina isn't, they recognize that and that's what makes it all the more respectable in their eyes
I absolutely love how everyone in the genshin community did a 180 with Furina …..before 4.2 everyone (including me) liked her but she was that sassy annoying character which we liked but didn’t really care too much for but after 4.2 she became the best among every character..she deserves all the love, praise and cakes in the world …..I wasn’t even planning on wishing for her but after 4.2 quest I just had to get her ……I love her so damn much and seeing her gain the respect of not only humans but even gods makes me very happy
People so hard on Furina, while they forgot that, if any other human do it? they will bail out as soon as they reached 70. Furina keep going on and on, despite everyone on her. She is shown us enough
