When i wrestle i used to use the regular firemen, but about 20 years i started showing a firemen similar to this one. I had a few girls on the team and they could not do the regular firemen, so i show then to penetrate in deep, have a tight grip on the tricep and snake grip around the other leg and at the same time pull hard on the arm and leg in a downward motion. They became very succesful with this firemen including the guys. I did not learn it from anyone, but now I see other people doing it like this. I thought i invented it, but i guess not.

What grips do you use? Since you can't grab the legs.

Notice the vast majority of these are early in the match before sweat is dripping and the grip on the tri is so much stronger. EYGM Gang 🙏🏼

Another great video as always. Can you make a video about Austin O'Connor front headlock move series?? I feel like he’s very underrated and not talked about enough.

The same move I used in high school never made sense why you would try to get them to go over your head you just risk losing control

I recently got into wrestling and I really love all your videos, but theres so many techniques I really don't understand what to prioritize. If you could pick a series or move both offense and defense what would you choose for a beginner to get really good at? I don't know if this is a hard question, but any answer I would be very appreciative for! Thank you.

probably the basics, like sprawl, shoot, hand fighting and then you can work it up by looking at what you feel comfortable of(ex:you learn how to double leg takedown, high c and single leg. but you feel most comfortable at double, so it's better to drill more off double but you still gonna drill those others) and always listen to your coach

It's all about the left hand grip. It's a VICE GRIP for him. He makes it look so easy. Does the grip have to be up high on the tricep? He has a low center of gravity as well. He is actuall giving the opponents left knee a hipcheck.
