  • This the first in a series of videos documenting a skirmish wargame campaign played using my Gangland Gunplay rules. It depicts imagined hostilities between criminal gangs, set at some point in the 20th century, in the fictional English town of Hoodsbrough.

What a great beginning to the campaign! It looks like it is going to be a bloody affair.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. As to future shedding of blood, well, the dice will decide.

How did you keep a straight face? Brilliant work. I could relate to that quite a bit. Except the pub in my town was the Station Hotel and it was a John Smith's house, rather than the Tetley Railway Hotel in this episode. Ah. Traditional values, simpler times, good use made of public open spaces!

Thank you. I always preferred John Smiths to Tetley.

Did England ever go through a prohibition?

No way. We are too fond of beer for that ever to happen!

@@jamesathertonytin any event, true to life. Knock off alcohol is always doing the rounds here. I can recall potcheen being sold from car boots along with iffy rolling tobacco.
