- There are plenty of teams that appear throughout Sonics rich history, but recently IDW has presented us with a new team or rather a rebuild of a previous one. The new team members consist of Lanolin as well as fan favorites Tangle and Whisper. Today I'll be breaking down everything you need to know about this team!

This is the closes we will get on having Metal Gear in Sonic the Hedgehog. I hope we see the Diamond Cutters agains and hope we see Metal Gear easter-eggs or better, see G.U.N. and Sonic version of Metal Gear in the game or comic.

Imo, i find both funny and disrespectful that tangle jumped with the name "diamond cutters" as if it was on the tip of her tongue and right in front of whisper. Lmao
Sonic have no idea that Whisper was betrayed by Mimic because he killed her old team, the diamond cutters. If sonic had heard that, sonic would’ve comforted her and tell her nothing gonna happens to her new team and not even Eggman would take her friends away from her.

I feel like tangle is more of a power because of her tail her tail and lanolin is more speed

Edit: Now that I think about it, your formation and my formation both make sense. However, here’s my reasoning for my formation:
While Tangle does make sense as a power type with her tail, Tangle makes sense to me as a speed type due to her energetic and reckless nature and athleticism. Lanolin works to me as a power type due to her wispon ability and her staunch character, plus there really isn’t anything that would suggest she would be speedy.

I need lanolin to get called out for not listening to silver (I also understand why she didn't trust him so to lack of evidence and pretty much picking on the new guy )how ever this is going to be a reality shock for her I'm ok with heri don't hate her im just indifferent whisper and Tangle I love them too

I written a story about the diamond cutters focusing on Sonic and Whisper.
I have not a fan of the new Diamond Cutters because I love Tangle and Whisper, but Lanolin feels like a plus one.
Currently, in the comics mimic has infiltrated the diamond cutters as a new recruit under the alias of duo, the cat which he can do because he’s a Shapeshifter
The new ones are cool but i miss the old diamond cutters

What? Pfft, no. What gave you that idea? Just because she's constantly haunted by the deaths of her teammates, not allowing herself to get too close to people out of fear they'll betray her or that they'll die too, everyone thinks she has "PTSD".

personally, i think water is the best diamond cutter, especially when thin, fast and *wet*
A lot of the lanolin hate is really just- stupid, I mean she was cold to silver and kicked him out but that wasn’t her fault, that was mimic
And on top of that, she had just met silver, she had no clue who he was
Agreed, I'm not quite sure why people think she was being malicious. The whole point of Mimic's character is to deceive people.
@@SonicTheory96 Exactly! While I can understand why people don’t like the choices she made, it does make sense narrative wise. As far as she’s concerned, Whisper and silver just attacked a rookie for no reason. And it would be one thing if Duo was just a random new character. But Duo is just Mimic in disguise, and Mimic’s whole thing is that he deceives people. That’s what makes Mimic so compelling, or at least fun to hate. Although I admit it kind of feels like her bossiness was taken up to 11 and feels a bit regressive after the Diamond cutters development in the Urban Warfare arc, I can see why she made the choices she did.
I’d love to see these characters in the video games but I don’t work for Sega and the comics are really good on their own

At the risk of sounding petty, I wish the new Diamond Cutters weren't all female. Yeah, it's only 3 (no, I'm not counting Duo cos, yknow) and yeah, there's still a ways to go; I only hope we get a later addition or two, like that Jack fella.

What's funny about the Ken Penders situation is if it wasn't for him, Ian Flynn probably wouldn't be in charge of the games right now.
Why does everyone keep saying that Shadow's a villain? He's not a villain and he never was. I mean yes, in Sonic X there's a point where he acts like a villain for one or two episodes, but that's mainly because he isn't thinking straight at the time due to a recent key character death, coupled with a convenient bout of amnesia.

It was more arche comics then Sega, Sega didn't know about the lawsuit as arche never told them untill to late

I don't like the new Diamond cutters. And I don't like Lanolin either. Tangle and Whisper are better without her. I'll never accept her as part of their team.
