Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 Review

- My Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 review out on the open road. The new Hayabusa on paper seems a step down to the last 2 incarnations of this iconic speed demon, but for me I feel it's the most useable version of the Suzuki GSX1300R yet produced. The 188bhp and 150Nm of torque is almost instantly available through the rev range at relatively road-going speeds, making this starship an utter hoot to ride on the roads.
This Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 test ride is thanks to Haslemere Motorcycles so make sure to pop by and check them out if you're in the market for a new Suzuki or Yamaha - haslemeremotorcycles.co.uk

I,am German. The new Hayabusa is beautiful and wonderful. I have a Black new Hayabusa....I am verry happy!
Good Luck vor all Hayabusa Driver!
All these years later and it’s still a great bike. My Gen 1 is bloody epic, grin inducing, whooping, fun and it’s 20 years old 💪🏻👍🏻
Yep still living my 20 year old gen 1
I own a 21 year old Suzuki bike, it's named Fiero
The only type of 21 year old I'd be happy to ride...
I ride a 2002 busa, and I love it!!
When I read the specs I thought it would be disappointing. But I test rode one last week and was blown away. Great review mate. Very real world.
Wish I had that kind of money, would buy it in a heart beat.
Same bro
Work hard bro...........you can easily achieve it ❤️
Follow ur passion with 100% Faith . Write down ur goals with positive affirmation ..... It will come true.. 🎉🎉
Useless bike
@@pushkalsingh3879 man u are useless not that bike just go to hell
I've put 500+ miles on my new Hayabusa and it is everything the old Busa wasn't, but needed to be. Only gripe is the high-ish pegs but you get used to them. Power delivery is syrupy smooth, QS and blipper are seamless when you learn to get them right, and the longer wheelbase (than most bikes) mean this is a motorway mile muncher par-excellence....
UPDATE:
"Warp factor ten Scottie"
"Aye aye Captain"....
%!*$ unbelievable bike...
My 2003 BUSA had 156 hp and was awesome but so uncomfortable! I’m 67 and wish I could still get the thrill out of this bike again ! It looks absolutely awesome the best looking one yet!!!!!!
I bought my Hayabusa new in 2008, and I still make the same sound as Bruce at the 2:00 minute mark when I roll on the throttle. Amazing machines.
Suzuki’s on a roll. The new Gsxs 1000 is also amazing!
Aye I’d love a go of that! 👍
I owned a 2000 'Busa. Thrilling over-the-top engine. I could ride it an hour or so at a time before my wrists and back screamed. I was only 50 then.....
Lucky me 73 and ride it all day.
That looks nice in silver, great review Bruce 👍
The giggles say it all, hopefully more Suzuki reviews in the future 👍👍
Had mine for 4 weeks now , been smiling for four weeks now must be a connection
You’re a Lucy guy! Have you had a Gen 1 or 2? If so how does it compare? I have a Gen 1 and love it 👍🏻
I say in the vid that I last road a Busa back in 2010
@@allenglishknives6823 I had as new the 1998 Gen 1 the 2014 Gen 2 , the Gen 3 is in my opinion by far the best Busa , only Gen 1 and 2 owners will understand , if you can take the Gen 3 for a test ride you will understand (-:
@@TheDoorman27 Thanks for the info. I was a bit underwhelmed at first like a lot of people. But the more I see of it I think the sum of all the small improvements has made a much improved bike. Roll on the Gen 4!!! 😁💪🏻
What a great bike,so nice to see a modern bike with proper gauges, looked like you had a blast on it judging by all the giggles, great video Bruce.
Ordered a 2023 in black a couple days ago. Supposed to ship to local dealer Aug/Sept. I can't wait! Great review! I've been watching loads of videos on the gen 3.
whenver bikers get on to these beasts they become a small child with that smile and happiness which is so nice to watch..Thats what these bikes can do to you😍
Yep my Gen II is the best bike I ever owned ( I have owned three) Hayabusa’s get better and better with each generation the Gen I was great, but totally outdated and old looking, the Gen II was more modern, powerful and better handler , now I think this will improve yet again - cant wait have a ride of this to compare to my Gen II. People complained when the Gen II arrived in 2008 just like now with the Gen III but the Gen II proved to be a massive improvement in every department over the old bike. Now Suzuki is very clever and despite being similar in power to the Gen II looks and electronic additions should make this so so good 😊 Don’t think I will sell my Gen II though I love it too much
Go Suzuki 👍👍👍👍
Go Suzuki
Finally, my prayers have been answered🙏🏻 Bruce back on a Suzuki! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Best review of this bike yet. Proper real world appraisal! 👍
Cheers George, that’s greatly appreciated bud 👍
I had that very bike out for an hour or so from Crescent in Bournemouth. Absolutely loved it, agree with you on all points, stunning piece of work and usable. 👍
This was a great review on the Busa with a British twist Suzuki made a great bike even better have always wanted one but made the transition to cruisers many years ago and never looked back still wouldn't mind having a Busa though!
I think I was riding that same bike the same day lol. Mark and Mike are lovely chaps. Really enjoyed it. For the road I think it's an awesome bike!
Simple and beautiful
A very realistic and practical review. I enjoyed the ride!
Thanks Geof 👍
You feel like your in the bike very comfortable !
It has a great look ,I like it better in silver with the red flashing, and love the dash actual clocks( but i am an old timer) enthusiastic Bruce came alive. 👍👍
I knew you would giggle when you rode that Busa. You can't not smile when you ride one of these beast. I'm about to add a 2022 BMW R1250GS to my garage with my 2013 yellow Hayabusa. I feel blessed.
There is something about the acceleration of the Busa (and in fairness the ZZR1400) that is quite intoxicating. I have previously owned 5 gen1 Busa's and feel a new one coming on. Great review, and your chuckling at the start (@2 mins) is what this machine is all about...
Thanks Bib 👍
@@teapotone Bought myself a 2023YM today...feel like a kid in a sweet shop......
@@BibtheBoulder enjoying it?
@@andrewhull365 Oh yes! The generally dry roads have proven to be a real bonus. Already approaching its first service. The rider modes are still leaving me baffled but that is because I haven't invested enough time to read the owners manual...Thanks for asking. What do you ride?
@@BibtheBoulder cool, I'm on a speed triple rs, thinking of a busa for a second bike
I like the look of it Bruce I wasn’t a fan of the looks of the gen 1-2 but this wow and this is the first silver one I’ve seen I think it looks the business 👍👍👍
7:35 that feeling of walking after doing slightly higher speeds is what nearly got me into bother a few weeks ago. Great upload as always Bruce 👍🏻👍🏻
Ha Ha thanks James, aye it always gets me when I ride off the euro tunnel onto the M20 after riding like a maniac for a week in Europe. Sat at 70/80 on the motorway just feels like you could step off the bike doesn’t it!
Man you're right. In video games (especially The Crew 2), I'm usually doing speeds of 150-190mph. When I finally want to obey the laws of traffic and do 30-65mph, I feel so slow😂
I love this colour scheme
Love the opening shot. Made it look like a model 👍👍
Wow, what a bike! 👍👍
Bro Hayabusa is king of speed bike ever❤️❤️
Awesome as ever Bruce. Good to see you back on reviews again!
Hey dude that beard must be a bug trap lol. Yeah the Busa is back, love the bike. That was a nice ride, showed the power of the bike.
😍I love hayabusa😍
They will comment on speed when it's not there license! 😡 Great video buddy and I've no interest in that bike😂 the quality of footage looks fantastic, thanks for doing it and keeping us going.
Cheers Peter 👍
Just reserved mine for the fall. I’m so excited 😈
What an amazing beauty 😍
@ 2:02 Sir great review and video.. you should be the voice of the new “ Tickle me Elmo”!!
I’m only kidding. This current Busa is #1 on my list for my touring to see the country side! You were extremely fortunate.
Sounding like the holy mother of the in-line four sports world! With Suzuki offering them at 2.9% PCP or HP this year its no wonder there have been more Hayabusa's out and about this summer. Definitely a bike for us short arses with the seat height and peg positioning. Another great vid.
Cracking looking bike.
Good to hear the figures !
👍 Great review.
I will never understand why Suzuki hasn't done more with you after taking the GSXR round the world
Thanks bud - aye it does seem weird 🤷♂️👍
Nice review. I've come to really like this 'busa now. I was a little disappointed at first that it didn't get a cc & power bump but realistically it didn't need it. Kawasaki boosted cc & power with the ZX14 but have now discontinued it so seems that wasn't the answer for the Hayabusa after all. Plus Suzuki were never going to invest in building a 2 litre 6 cylinder turbo or whatever daft version some people were asking for. Seems everyone who hasn't ridden it slates it but those that have appear to think it's pretty good. Who knew the best way to find out what a bike is really like is to actually ride it lol!
great review and your reactions to the power say it all. i’m waiting for mine to arrive in the same color. keep up the good work.
Hayabusa with off-road helmet nice combination 🤣🤣🤣
peak and a shield on a sportbike on the street is an honestly great combination
Lovely bit of Kit. I know that Giggle I have heard it over the intercom. You were having fun. Well done Bruce. 👍🏻
Recently purchased this bike ,your review is spot on 👍
Thanks Derek 👍
Used to have a Blackbird, fast, but this is obviously in a different league. Looks fun but I’ll stick with my comfy GSA😜
Hey Bruce stop worrying about the go fast people keep doin what your doin and enjoy it .
Smashing review, Bruce. 👌🏾👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What a bike!
It sounds like "triumph" with that visel like 🔥
Got mine this week, and actually got 160 miles put of the tank! This may even improve once broken in!
amazing looks complemented by the colour scheme.. well done Suzuki .. and reviewer
Good sales style Bruce.
You're making me want one.
Long live legend
Great video Bruce, loved the proper gauges and the look of the bike, with one exception"............the SIZE of those endcans, they ruin the bike.
The Aprilia Tuono Factory had the same type dustbins on, the dealers did offers with the carbon akra from new, and it’s a different bike to look at, not forgetting the weight saving. How many kilos do those 2 end cans weigh ?
Nice to see you reviewing bikes again.
Standard cans on most bikes are ugly as fcuk.
Nice review Bruce. What a machine. That bike is awesome and sounds amazing. I bet you had so much fun with the cameras off ha ha. Glad to see your enjoying this lovely weather. Keep safe and carry on the good work sir 👍🏻
I’ve never actually ridden the big Kwakker🤷♂️👍
@@teapotone ha ha well it does suit you. Even though your 6’4
I'm gonna subscribe to this channel just for that man's accent
I am going to get one as soon as I can in Wisconsin 🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍🏍
Thanks for all the information ok. Ok 👍🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍
The best bike I for an old fart like me I’ll be 74 in June 🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍🏍👍
On the motorway, the Busa cannot use all the power it has. My FJR uses only 50% throttle. So it boils down to: Ergonomics, paniers, shaft drive, electric windscreen, heated grips, cruise control, center stand amenities and passenger pillion.
awsome The Hayabusa is back and better love the Video .
Cheers Eric 👍
Respect the Nod! I.m subscribing on that alone! Cheers!
Ha Ha cheers Dario 👍👏
Having tested it for our channel, I can honestly say I think it’s a great bike
Awesome. I've always loved the Hayabusa!
Proper giggle machine! Crackin vid Bruce.... looks and sounds awsome 👌
Thank you Hazelmere motorcycles
Legend reborn
Gidjits and gasmos. Classic!
brilliant review. one of the best reviews I have seen about this bike. I might buy this bike after watching your review mate.
Top stuff, thanks very much for your kind words 👍
Hey Bruce looks like you found your next round the world bike, especially if your looking to break the record for fastest time....
great review mate :)
Thanks Craig 👍
Hayabusa ❤️❤️❤️
"Big Fat Knacker" T-shirt? I would buy it.
Fab review, bought a black one last year from Cupar motorcycles.
Your review was the one that clinched it.
Cheers.🙏
Cheers bud, glad you’re happy with your bike 👍
I like it and love the fact that i still dont want to replace my gen2 🙂
Well... It's a 'Busa. Will last forever, this one just more so. A bit torn between the reliability and no more "oomph"... Still an awesome machine.
Best allrounder ever build. Driving it slow is amazing, and giving it a push in low revs always picks up.
You should have said you were down my way, I'm 15 mins away we could have got a coffee ☕
To be fair, you're probably 15 mins away from anywhere on the H2 😂
Ah bugger, sorry Chops! Didn’t realise you were as close as that, I’m down that way all the time! 🤦♂️👍😂
@@teapotone Me too! I'm only 3h 15m away 😁👍
I thought the British drinks tea not coffee lol 😆
@@sampakpahan6749 we drink whatever we want, it's a free country (still) 😜
Gidgets&Gazmos was a garage rock band we had in the early 80s. ;-)
Well done! Glad they made it usable power for the road and she looks good too 😎👍
Cracking review fella....top notch.....getting to try one next Friday...big question is.....Is it better than a ZZR 14?
I have ridden the ZX14r my son had one we used to ride together. I assume it's alot like the busa although it was pretty basic with ride modes and traction control.not to mention no quick shifter. It was a blast to ride and a rocket. Very planted even at speeds.
Glad to see Mr. Teapot keeps both hands on the bars unlike many other riders , I hardly dare watch some of them.
Eh? Think you got that wrong there bud, I often ride one handed, don’t see anything wrong with it personally 🤷♂️👍
Very nice bike, I will try and get a test ride of one of these.
People I think get a bit scared of these larger, what used to be called " hyper-bikes", big mile munching sports tourers, they are fantastic to live with in my opinion.
Come on Honda bring back the Blackbird.
The Blackbird still has such a devoted following, I’ve never actually ridden one yet! 👍
Totally agree, I've had both the Bird and the Busa, the Busa is an amazing bike but still preferred the Bird. Would love to see a new Super Blackbird
Great Review Bruce! Can’t believe you didn’t get a single head nod. Take care Jake
I have an 06 Hayabusa and love my bike. I just don't like the new body style of the 21 busa. Just doesn't look the same.
I had the gen 1 lovely quick missile but always struck me as being a bit of a lardy gixxer thou... great review
Very pretty, lovely sound too!
Cracking machine.
What's happened to bikers today, every biker used to wave or nod.
Not keen on these princesses out there, refusing to acknowledge folk because they ride a different type of machine.
This is the best colour for 3rd gen Hayabusa
Y’all Keep The wheels on the ground
Love from Mississippi
I actually like this incarnation of the Busa especially in the black I will never have one but for you guys with lets say good heft about ya it's perfect suits you Bruce . Only thing I'm not to keen on would be the humongous cans . good one : )
Just watched you vid .. really good review and yes the further south you go the less nodders you find ???
Cramp at those leg angles 📐
I still believe the first generation Hayabusa was the best looking. I'm sure the new bike is far superior mechanically though. Is the new 'busa more powerful than the Kawasaki ZX14R though? If not, Suzuki came up short. That's why I won't buy one.
"You don't need any more power than that folks..."
It's not about need, it's about wanting.
Looks nice Bruce 👌 i had the gen 2 it was such a good bike. It did everything well. It was super comfortable smooth and very very fast. It did lack exitement though if that makes sense. I'm now a KTM 1290 superduke rider. It may not be as fast but boy... is it exiting. :) take care folks. 🙂
Great looking bike. Can we ever have too many Gidgets and Gazmos?, 99% of us up north Nod
Respect the nod!
