    I replaced the original mag stop / ejector (aero precision style) in my Sharps Bros Jack AR9. The original held up to several range days but the replacement lasted 60 rounds before failing to feed issues began. I blue loctited it and properly installed it so nothing should be misaligned. It was my favorite and most accurate firearm until now.

    Hey Doug great explanation on the ejector adjustments. I agree this alignment is a major issue on ejection problems. Thank you for posting this.

    Thank you for explaining this issue. I have been fighting this problem with my colt style inserts.

    Hey Doug . Off subject but I love your gentle recoil system . I couldn’t get a Wilson flat wire because they’ve been out of stock. I do have a flat wire though.This setup is absolutely awesome. Thank you for your research and putting your knowledge out here for the 2A community.

      Wilson changed their flat wire spring and it no longer fits over the Kynshot RB5015HD or others of that diameter. Blowback9 no longer recommends that spring.

    Again thank you Doug! I look forward to your next video and really appreciate the details on the EPC info.
    A special request, possibly a video on build mistakes, tools to hold the receivers for torque specs, things to pay close attention to, etc. Im just about ready to start torqing things in place and finding information on what works best to hold things in my vise is seemingly minimal as far as what actually works without issues.

    Good stuff Doug. Very well thought out explanation. I respect the time and effort to gain the knowledge and then put it out there on video. You’re doing the PCC community a great service keep it up!

    Hey Doug can you add some demonstration on how to heat up and adjust the extractor also grinding down the Aero ejector to fit. Thanks

    @dave_bob Před měsícem

    Doug, Joe Bob outfitters has an ejector they use on their 9mm Spartan lower that looks very much like the Aero ejector without the hole in it. Don't know if they will fit but maybe worth a try.

      I just got mine in the mail today and will include it in my Aero lower video!

    • @4244john
      @4244john Před měsícem

      It does fit! It’s the exact same ejector minus the hole. Only difference I noticed was that the ejector face, where it makes contact with the casing, has more surface area/material than the Aero precision ejector. It doesn’t affect function and I noticed the mag sits a lot more flush when inserted.

    Are there any 9mm PCC's that come with good ejectors straight out of the box?

    • @Blowback9
      @Blowback9  Před 28 dny +1

      Most should work "well enough". They come from the manufacturers at a height that should work with most bolts/uppers OK, but isn't optimal. Unless the upper/bolt/lower are all tested, aligned, and sold together they can't be fine tuned at the factory. I don't know anyone doing this.

    If you file some material off the aero precision ejector and it doesn't allow it to pivot up enough what other options do you have to get it to come up more?

    • @Blowback9
      @Blowback9  Před měsícem

      Possibly using the Joe Bob Spartan ejector in place of the Aero. I just got one in today and need to try it out.

      @@timlyon2924will most likely cause the ejector to wiggle while in use. Joe bob ejector is like 13$ you can align that one the way you need and either drill the correct placed hole or a couple of v grooves for the bolts to sit in the right spot.
