@jaymiah5517 I think you are the one who does not understand his comment. He is simply saying that despite Rice being a CDM, he still has as many assists as these other two players who are CAMs, yet he is still being criticized for not having enough goal contribution.
Let's see Roy Keane is united legend, Souness a legend for Liverpool and Redknapp something for spurs, yeah no bias whatsoever

He is a fantastic defensive AND attacking midfielder - he can do BOTH - whereas those other players were only doing one (admittedly defensively really well for souness and keane.)... redknapp shouldnt even be on that list he is a spice boy beside those men

@jayt0102 Yep. You can always see the groundwork being laid for each potential scenario if you pay close attention. I remember when Arsenal was doing well in the Champions league, the narrative was building that if Arsenal wins it, it would be because other top teams in the competition weren't at their best.
