Woodcraft: A Great Slingbow For Under 5 Dollars (Tutorial)

- Slingbows are great for fun AND survival - but there aren't many commercial products on the market. This little tutorial shows you how to make one from a natural fork and some very basic material, such as rubber bands, some paracord and a bit of string. The sole tool you need is a knife.
The video also includes instructions how to make yourself a great slingbow release from a twig.

I loved this video! There are so many videos about how to add arrow guides to an existing sling shot, but your idea to use the base of the "V" in the fork is perfect and as natural as can be. Also loved the way you made the entire process fun and easy, yet extremely effective. Your laughs after you shoot the arrows with it really express the joy you obviously get from doing this and compelled me to subscribe to your channel. 😀

Great tutorial! This looks cool, and fairly easy to make. I may to try this. I like tying knots, and there's lots of knots to tie with this one, haha. You should make more tutorials, I just like listening to your voice and they way you explain things.

1:21 Nice work cutting that wood, but you'd be impressed as I was too when I watched my dad do the same thing. Almost perfect round cuts. I still own that sling that he made for me years ago, only the rubber snapped.
+Jay Dzananovic The rubber will snap even on a polished cast metal slingshot. Natural rubber has a limited life.
