  • Here is a detailed look at the blues scale, with left and right hand techniques and a closer look at synchronising.
    A slow and methodical look at guitar is important, as with any other musical instrument, as what happens between the notes is as important as the notes themselves. Messages passing from the brain to the fingers, and along the way involving sight and sound, all play a pivotal role in creating an accurate and intentional stance with playing.

    How to blues in 100 simple steps. This is step one. I like it.
    And I need to work on muting strings between notes, too. They doesn't sound bad, until effects boost them up.

    Here's one for a techie.
    I have a Mackie CFX12 anologue mixer, please correct me if i go "out of tune"!
    Using the busses (SUB), the sound going through is signal level. suitable for interface use.
    Using the 2 aux sends in post fader mode, the sound going through is signal level. suitable for interface use.
    Using the channel strip master section, the sound going through is signal level. suitable for interface use.
    Please correct me if I am wrong at any stage of this garbled blah blah!
