Slash 4X4 BL-2S | Center Driveshaft and Spur Upgrade

We took the Traxxas Slash 4X4 BL-2S and installed a Hot Racing 54T Steel Spur Gear, and we upgraded the center driveshaft with a Traxxas Anodized Aluminum. In other to installed the aluminum driveshaft you must installed a front drive hub to the pinion shaft. We hope this video helped anyone looking to beef up their Slash BL-2S, more upgrades on the way.

I bought a dust cover for my slash. Best $10 investment ever. No more pebbles, dirt, mud all in the frame. Only need to clean with an air gun. I only really run off road with mine. Highly recommend

Those plastic driveshaft covers were pointless. It seems to cause more damage having them.

I did my stampede I didn’t expect to have to buy the front shaft pinion gear if that’s what it’s called. 6888x I went with mod1 gears also now it’s a beast on 3s over 50mph easily and I haven’t pinned it yet

What was your top speed with this set up? Idk if the center diff adds anything but this is the exact set up I have right now and it’s super fast stock pinion and spur wondering what it hits

Our speed test showed 42mph on stock gearing but it can definitely get faster with a higher pinion.
