- Badd Medicine here and its Maze Runner reaction time
Back with Maze Runner and this one did not disappoint! At least in our opinion. Transported to a remote fortified outpost, Thomas and his fellow teenage Gladers find themselves in trouble after uncovering a diabolical plot from the mysterious and powerful organization WCKD. With help from a new ally, the Gladers stage a daring escape into the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with dangerous obstacles and crawling with the virus-infected Cranks. The Gladers only hope may be to find the Right Hand, a group of resistance fighters who can help them battle WCKD.

Ohhhh the darn Teresa!!! In our opinion, this was a great follow up to the first movie. Curious to what you all think about Teresa decision? Did we miss anything?

guys please watch EEGA from raja mouli the director of RRR please do it
what do I think abt Teresa? I think she supposed to die, I hate her with all my heart. that’s it, thanks❤ OH i’d like to add, Thomas should’ve pushed her off that cliff, just saying.
It's a good one. I just am wondering what we're in the first pod things when they went snooping around
@@jessicablueheart9772 those were greivers the monsters that where in the maze that came out at night
If you like this type of stories, I think you might like Divergent movie series 😉 Please check it out after these 🖤💗
I do understand where Teresa is coming from, and I think it's a tough decision to make. What makes me so angry at her is the fact that she isn't sacrificing herself. She gets to have a nice job for WCKD, never putting herself at danger, while she decides to risk the life of other teens. If she had been like "This is the only way" and then also offered herself for harvest, then fine, I would respect that. But the fact remains that she isn't willing to risk her own life and still speaks about "This being the only right way". Like girl?? Wtf??
Couldn't have said it better myself!
Yeah I was so disappointed with her character.. personally I think they should have ditched the love story and made Thomas and Teresa siblings instead. I think that would have made the whole betrayal a lot weightier
Finally someone who sees it like me. She's a hypocrite of the worst sort.
But like wasn't She the only doctor amongst the other immunes?
@@drevenstranger1730 True
The scene where they were walking away and they heard the gun and stopped. So sad but powerful. Rip Winston
and the spot missing where he would've stood
That scene is incredible. Wes Ball was fucked up for that cuz it had me crying pretty hard in the theater.
@@riahw3750 so that's what that was?! every time i watch that scene i always wondered why there was a big gap. after all these years now i know why 😕
literally the only moment from the film that has stuck with me for years
Isn't that a very common trope in movies
I don’t think y’all noticed but George, Brenda’s brother, was the one on the grave in the woods in the Glade. Thomas used his skull to hit Ben when they were fighting. And his name was crossed out on the wall in the glade too. So sadly George is dead, but we do know what happened to him. WCKD put him in Thomas’s maze and he died in there somehow.
in the dvd case there was a mini comic for George. he was second in the maze and it just shows alby at his grave apologizing for not knowing better. So Alby was not only alone for one month in the maze but also alone again after George died. It was really cool that they added it in the dvd case
@@briannaloffredo6688 Thats so sad for alby
Ooo- thanks know im gonna fight these people who made the movie
Wait so alby didn’t even bury him?!?! 🤯🤯🤯
Just to clarify he wasn't the second one in the maze. Nick was the one who greeted him when he came up the box. But he was the first to ever get stung, newt was there at the time with alby and nick when they ended up having to kill George not knowing about the whole griever thing since it was the first incident.
George was also a runner that's why he got stung
"I will never trust a man with a turtleneck and a leather jacket."
FACTS
💯😂🤘
I am BEGGING y’all to please watch the bloopers after finishing these movies! I have never laughed as much in my entire life as i did when watching the bloopers for each movie 😭😭 dylan (thomas) and the entire cast is so incredibly hilarious
Oh... There's bloopers? I'll have to find that.
omg yes ESPECIALLY scorch trials 😂😂😂 istg i always cry real tears of laughter when they all run around trying to find a place to hide but just end up running in circles, never gets old
The part where Dylan fell backwards down the sand dune absolutely KILLED me 🤣. I've gone back and rewatched the bloopers for these movies more times than I'd like to admit over the years, for a good laugh.
Oh I'm happy to see this today. Dylan is one if the funniest actors out there. So down to earth. I love to watch all real Dylan moments
Omg yes the bloopers are so fucking funny
The scene where the other Gladers stood with Thomas when he bad the bomb is so powerful. It really shows how they would genuinely rather die, and die together, then go back and be WCKD’s lab rats. Incredible job by Wes Ball for that scene!
Haven't seen anyone mention it yet. But George, Brenda's brother, is the same George who's grave Thomas stumbled on in the Maze when he was getting fertilizer.
Based off of the questions you guys were asking I’ll provide some answers (the movies don’t explain all the details but the books do, and I’ve read the books so I can give some info to clear up any confusion):
1) not all of them are immune. WCKD put some immunes in the maze and some that weren’t immune.
2) whatever the grievers injected the gladers with wasn’t exactly the flare virus. That’s why they could send them that antidote. It’s unclear exactly what the grievers infected them with, I think it’s very similar to the flare so the kids that get infected by it show similar characteristics to people infected with the flare, but it’s not the flare. If it was, then all of the non-immune in the maze could catch it by being close to anyone infected even if they weren’t necessarily scratched or bitten (yes the flare is airborne too). That’s why WCKD still needed them after the maze, they needed to do more trials etc to find a cure.
3) they’re not in Europe. They’re in America. In the final book they went to “the last city”, which was Denver.
4) just a random thing I thought I would add about the cranks - in the movies once someone is infected they turn FAST, but in the books it’s very gradual. They start to lose their temper more etc. and slowly over time they can’t control themselves anymore. Once they go full crank and lose all sanity they’re said to be “past the gone”. Also in the movies they’re portrayed more as zombies, but they weren’t zombies. The virus definitely makes them appear as zombies, so the movies got that right with their veins and very scary look, and the cranks do make those horrendous screaming noises you hear in the movies, but they also still talk and think etc. Just much more maliciously. They don’t just see anything alive and hurtle towards it.
In the Scorch trials book, when Thomas and Brenda came across a group of cranks in the sewers, they met a crank who had no nose. He stood there, and smiled at them and taunted them, making terrifying giggles etc. he said something like “No nose, I suppose” multiple times, and then said “you’ve got a nice nose” Thomas and Brenda ran and him and his crank buddies ran after them. The crank kept screaming that he wanted their noses. They found a room to hide in and I believe they went in a cupboard. They heard the cranks in the room and they were even screaming to each other to try to find them. Then it went quiet and Thomas and brenda thought they could leave, but the crank was still in there waiting for them to come out.
The book cranks are so much more terrifying because even though they’re completely insane, they still seem somewhat human. They still talk and laugh and taunt (even if it doesn’t make much sense), and if you hide, they can still think about the fact that you could be in a cupboard. They’re not just going to blindly run past it.
W explanations. i love the book cranks, it’s sm more terrifying to me to have a predator that still thinks like a person rather than mindless zombies. don’t get me wrong tho zombies are great
Thanks for this explanation I haven’t read the books but I really like the movies and this adds extra detail
The city they were in after they left wckd was New York, the George Washington bridge was seen in the background of one of the shots
In the books, the Scorch was located somewhere in Mexico while New York was flooded when the solar flares hit the earth and melted the polar ice caps
@@richfilmsproductions3968 The Scorch was Primarily around the Equator line wrapping around the earth due to the Solar Flare. Also the Flare began due to WICKED (Book Name) wanting a way to profit, but in the end suffered the loss of many because they thought they can contain the virus as trial runs.
Everyone asking Thomas what the plan is and Thomas having no plan never fails to make me smile. My boy Thomas is just flying by the seat of his pants and taking every second as it comes.
The primary reason why the Death Cure (part 3) didn't hit theaters until 2018 was because Dylan O'Brien had a major horrible accident while filming the cold open. During filming of the opening scene where they did the Train Job, Dylan O'Brien fell off of the vehicle he was riding on and had a head-on collision with the camera car resulting in the the effect of a 60mph hit to his skull. He was in the hospital for several months and the production essentially halted until he had has his reconstructive surgery and fully recovered. Props to the Studio and Production Team and most of all Dylan himself for sticking it out and being the absolute soldier he is to finish the project after he had healed. Truly. one of the greatest examples of self-determination and pure will-power in recent times. Endless respect to everyone involved.
Really? Sounds like he could’ve died. Lucky that he’s not though
@@lexfushi8504 He was so fortunate that he didn't. Right when it happened the crew didn't know if he was still breathing. His recovery was amazing.
Dylan does most of his own stunts he almost died jumping from a train in one of the movies
😱
If you were wondering what Thomas did when he worked for WICKED, Thomas helped design and create the maze. He is also the closest thing to a super soldier in the Maze Runner Universe thanks to WICKED’s tests, experiments, and conditioning.
We actually had to wait for like a reaaally long time if i remember correctly it was more than 3 years, bc Dylan O'brien (Thomas) got injured pretty seriously while making the third film he's fine now but yeah..anyways, discovered you guys from the harry potter reactions and now im loving this journey of dystopian/apocalyptic - future film genre you guys are on!
I will never get tired to say this: almost 9 years and this movie's thrill is still chef's kiss.
I love your reactions to this so much. It's one of my favorite series, and Dylan is such an amazing actor.
Speaking of, the last movie was so delayed cause Dylan got into an accident on set for the last movie, he got hit by a truck. We didn't know if he would survive or not, and we don't know much about it, but he needed physiotherapy and he had to get back into the mental space to finish the movie after that. So the fact we have the last movie, is a miracle.
Also, the girl that had the face covered, that Mason Quinn thought could be Zoe Kravitz, is the girl that plays Missandei in Game of Thrones.
That is brutal. But glad he recovered. That's right! GOT.
@@BaddMedicine yes, very glad he recovered, seemed to be a really heavy situation for him though. Interviews I saw he seemed quite traumatized. I'm glad he got better and in a mental space where he felt okay to come back to this and finish it.
@@TheMermaidBru selfishly, I think it would be great to have just 1 more. 😁
@@BaddMedicine I agree with you, and I think it was their plan. I know the last one had more plot points in the book, that were super important but cut out to fit in just one movie, and it would have been great if they did it, but I have a feeling they couldn't get Dylan to sign up for it. And I really can't blame him there. The last one isn't my favorite, although the book really is.
She is actually Natalie Emmanuel (she also plays Ramsey from the Fast Furious series)
These are my favorites movies of all time. One of the things that sets this YA a franchise apart from the others is that it’s not centered around a love story. It’s about found family. It’s centered around this incredibly close knit friend group, basically family, that will do anything for each other. Everyone in the group puts the others before themselves. They literally only have ever known each other. They have no memories before the maze. They have no families so they became a family. And we get to know them throughout the movies and feel like a part of the family. That’s what makes these movies so amazing.
I agree. That's definitely one of the coolest things about it.
Too bad the movies after the first are incredibly disappointing as a maze runner book fan
Unfortunately there’s a very sad reason as to why there was a delay between this movie and The Death Cure. Dylan (Thomas) suffered a very traumatizing accident while performing a stunt during the initial filming and all production was paused. It’s actually quite sad seeing him speak about this incident because it was a great struggle for him to get back into acting and back to filming the final movie of this trilogy.
Dylan O’Brien is such a great actor. I’m so used to watching him on Teen Wolf as the sarcastic, comedic best friend with amazing slapstick comedic timing. Seeing him in things like this and that new movie Not Okay shows his depth.
Also fun facts about Dylan O’Brien, he was the voice of Bumblebee from the Bumblebee transformers movie and he almost didn’t get this role because he auditioned with a buzz cut (from Teen Wolf) and they wanted that Hollywood hairstyle. They weren’t sure if he’d make the cut with longer hair lol obviously he’s gorgeous though
The Maze Runner was really great, especially the 3rd one.
What's funny is that I haven't seen 1st and 2nd when I watch the 3rd movie but it still got me hooked and made me watch em all.
This series really is based on RUNNING.😂and it’s great. They want your attention the whole time and it always works. The actors truly crush there characters (my favorite being Newt…) This is my favorite out of the series and I’m excited for you guys to enjoy the Finale :)
It really is! When I think about why I didn't like it the first time was cos "someone was always running" 😭🤣😂🤣
that's why the title is maze runner
What I liked about the movies was that at least they kept almost the same pace as the books. Nonstop action. Keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.

That blonde girl (Sonya) is Newt's younger sister
But since they don't remember anything before Wicked they don't know they're siblings
Also their names are not Their real names but it was given to them by Wicked
Thomas was Stephen
Teresa was Deedee
And Sonya was Elizabeth (Lizzy)
My favorite part of this film is the scene with Brenda and Thomas with the giant windows. Just WOW!!
Clicked on the channel hoping there'd be a scorch trial upload and what do you know, uploaded 0 seconds ago 👀
Telepathy 😁
Oak I love what you said about the morality dilemma in this series. It feels like Jansen is the only real “bad guy” here. I don’t know what I would do in anyone’s position if I had to choose. Great reaction guys!
I knew about teresa's betrayal bc I read the books first, so when I saw the movies and it happened I wasn't as surprised. (still really mad but slightly less just bc the betrayal in the books is soooo much worse.) But when I first read her betrayal in the books I literally tossed my book across the room lmao
Would love to hear how the book explained it
I coulnd't belive it either! It was ehartbroken. I couldn't belive her apolgise after Thomas elft the Chamber...
@@but.stephanie Is a lot more complex. For a start in the beggining of the second book there is no Theresa. They were in this cabine and Aris took her place. In the second book you have Team A and B. One of only Men and one of only Women.
Also her betrayled didn't have to do with agreeing with WCKD. She betrayed Thomas' HEART. and the build up to the final betrayel makes it so heartbraking... When the "main betrayel" is all over, Thresa cried out for Thomas to forgive her and said WKCD made her do it, etc etc. But as the story is from Thomas POV is hard to even belive a word of what she is saying... I hated her so much after reading it. But in restrspective, I think she wasn't liying at the end, however, you are blinded by emotions as Thomas was in that moment.
@@but.stephanie So as the other person commented, there is an entire B group full of women, and while Aris gets moved to our maze runner boys group, Teresa gets moved with the girls. Basically she doesn't call on wckd like in the movies. Her entire plan and motive in the second book is to break thomas (although this is bc wckd threatened to kill him if she didn't.)
But essentially she drives him mad by cutting off their telepathic communication (he's constantly begging her to call out to him its so sad), she convinces group B they need to kill him, so they literally kidnap him and TORTURE him (And she does a majority of the torturing, even when the group is like hold on maybe this isn't okay.)
The absolute worst part tho in my opinion, and what made me toss my book, was that her and Aris' were in kahoots, and there's an entire scene where they lure Thomas in again (After you think teresa is good again) and then Aris and Teresa basically tell thomas they are in love and that they didn't care about him AND START MAKING OUT AND PROCEED TO TRY AND GAS HIM OUT!!!
Teresa eventually I feel like has a redemption in the last book before (if you know you know) but they completely trash it in the prequel when you find out how truly evil she was (in my opinion)
@@GLEEKmikechangholy shit, i was obsessed with the maze runner when i was a kid and i completely blocked out ANY memory of that scene with aris and teresa. truly crazy
Dylan Obrien is great, I rate him as an action star, especially after American assassin. But he’s so well suited to teen movies like this and love and monsters, teen wolf as well.
I'll always have a soft spot for these movies because it was my young adult series growing up.
The creatures in the Maze in the first film were called "Grievers".
You're welcome
I absolutely love you guys’ reactions to dystopian films. When you finish the maze runner trilogy, I recommend movies like the giver, the divergent series, the darkest minds
Not the divergent lmao
@@connieteixeira2766 The first two movies are okay-ish/tolerable..but the third one is terrible.
I was disappointed with the movies as a whole, because the series was one of my all time favorite dystopian book series..but the movies are a big let down. The best out of the 3 is definitely the 1st movie.
@@mariank425 I’m a book worm so I’ll always choose the books over the movies, but I know everyone doesn’t read the books. So I feel that people who have never read these books before could probably appreciate the movie bc they don’t really expect anything since it’s all new
@@mariank425 The thing is they didn't even do the last movie didn't even come out... they cancelled it. Why would they watch it?
@@connieteixeira2766 Well I've seen the series recommended a few times in their comments, so they might watch it. To non-book readers, they may have liked the movies because they didn't have anything else to compare it to/it's all new to them as stated by the comment above^
I'm not really recommending them to watch it, but if they do..the first two would be worth watching, if ever.
I think one of my favorite things about your reaction (and channel in general) is that I can re-contextualize certain moments through a different viewpoint. I remember liking this movie enough when it came out but I enjoyed it much more watching it again with y’all. Thanks, looking forward to the next video regardless of what you’re watching!
It was not a leg break. Dylan got a concussion, brain trauma and a facial fracture during a stunt in the beginning of the movie. He needed a LOT of work to get back on set.
I literally came back everyday since your first reaction to this movie, its my favorite film series and books so its amazing seeing people discover it. The Maze Runner was my first time seeing your channel and I loved watching you guys! I literally watched both your hunger games reaction series and the harry potter reaction series while waiting for this one! Can't wait for the death cure!
much appreciated! Thank you! Next one drops next Tuesday at 930am CST.😀🤘
Dylan had more than a broken leg, my guy almost died (unless you guys saying that was a figure of speech hahah). I remember getting the news notification since I was already a huge fan of Dylan and his work when it happened and I didn't realize how serious it was until days later when more details came out! So crazy and I'm so glad he’s okay! Great reaction to an amazing movie :)
YES, I was like DUDE ALMOST DIED! He got hit with a car filming the 1st scene and it broke his face badly and everyone said they thought he died. He was out recovering for 6 months after that the thing happened in Feb of 2016 and he and was scared of coming back to work and he had to work on American Assassin before this last movie and the few eps he was in teen wolf he was only in 5eps for season 6 of that show and in 2017 he filmed the 3rd one and it came out in Jan of 2018.
Yes you guys are very lucky you can watch the next one right away. I remember when they said production was put on hold becuase Dylan got hurt. It was a mixture of "oh my goddness, I hope he is okay" and "noooooo" lol.
Oh yeah! Just what I needed, an hour with my top guys on YT ❤ it’s awesome to get excited about this serie again and rediscover it with you! Keep on keeping on 🎉
Letsss goooooo! 😀🤘
If you guys like Dylan Obrien and you want another fantastic film with him in the lead I highly recommend american assassin, while its not quite a good representation of the book its based on it is still in its own right a great movie, and its got a stellar cast.
Yeah it features Thomas/Stiles; Batman/Birdman/Vulture; Friday Night Lights WR/Battleship Guy
Seems a common occurrence Dylan gets stuck with poor adaptations of books, maze runner scorch trials would of been so so much better if the cranks acted like they did in the books instead of boring zombies
Since the first movie I've always felt like they invent the story and the plot as they go along. Almost like a tv-series that goes on forever.
Nope, doesn't work like that. There's too much money involved in making films like these.
In a way I can't entirely blame Teresa for her choice. Taking "a cure for mankind" off the table for a sec ang get more specific, how far would you go to save a friend? A family member? I feel like that's where her mind's at, sort of a "I couldn't save my mother, but what if I could help a little girl like I was to save theirs". There's probably a lot of projection and she's caught up in that fog. Is she right for doing what she did though? That's a right or wrong that changes from person to person. I don't know how to answer it, but I'm glad they asked; I love emotionally complicated themes.
LOVEEEEED the scare jump after the lighting storm with the crank!!!! 🤣🤣 Your faces throughout the movie were amazing, you convey the "edge of our seats" thing with your faces. Also, Dylan is an AMAZING actor, after season three of teenwolf and these movies, I'm just waiting for people to realized he has HUGE potential. Loved your reaction!
They say He is one of the best underrated actors ever I loved him in Love and monsters that movie is where I fell in love with him not teen wolf or the maze runner it was that movie and the 2 movies he was in with Mark Walberg was cool too and KICK ASS in American Assassin he was great in that one but the best acting ever he was in is this little unknow movie that came out last year called Flashback he is brilliant in that movie. Thank God for T Swift for having him in the all too well music video she knows true talent.
@@KHWendy28 I saw those two as well, really good!! I wish they would have change roles, mark and him, to have him as the main character, because he did an amazing job with the action scenes and with the sword there. In the third season of teen wolf he plays both good and bad characters and he did it amazingly
I feel like the Maze Runner Series takes the young adult genre and brings it up to a higher more mature level. I love these movies and I was one of the few that loved it when they came out! I defended the hell out of these movies. Granted they do stray a little from the books, but as a film they are great!! I hate comparing or having expectations for things that are adaptations. These are great on their own!
Exactly. You can watch the films as a young person and enjoy them at, shall we say, a basic level. At the same time, there are aspects that are over the heads of most young people, it seems. These allow more sophisticated viewers, like some adults, to also be able to enjoy the films at an elevated level. They're really examples of what I'd call "classic cinema."
One of my favorite fun facts about this series is that all of the characters are named after inspirational historical figures:
Thomas - Thomas Edison
Newt - Isaac Newton
Teresa - Mother Teresa
Aris - Aristotle
Alby - Albert Einstein
Chuck - Charles Darwin
Gally - Galileo
Siggy (Frypan) - Sigmund Freud
The list goes on... The only real exception is Minho, who is named after the husband of Thomas Dashner's (the author) niece.
I been binge watching this channel for the past few days and this has slowly become one of my favourite reaction channels you guys are awesome ❤️
Much appreciated and thanks for watching with us 🤙
In the books they are in America and they actually end up travelling to Denver ( the last city ) where a bunch of immune people live.
But the second and third movie and the second and third book have a completely different story.
Its been so long since iv revisited The Maze Runner movies, so watching you guys react to them has been nothing short of refreshing! I was surprised you guys mentioned knowing that Dylan had an accident during the filming of The Death Cure. If i remember correctly- it was a near death experience that almost made him quit acting, it was rumored that it wasnt even known if he'd be able to continue as Thomas. He suffered from facial fractures and brain trauma, amongst other injuries. Makes me see The Maze Runner franchise in a very bitter sweet light. Its a beautifully adapted story with such a great group of actors making up the cast, and Dylan being phenomenal as the lead, but i always remember that this franchise also caused a huge shift in his life. Personal and professional. So the fact that he found within himself the strength to comeback and wrap up the last movie always added weight to his performance- for me.
He filmed Amercian Assassin before he went back to filmed the 3rd one and he had to kick it in the ass working out for that movie They should watch that movie it's based on a book too and it did ok but was not a big block buster but man Dylan was so bad ass hottie I love him in it.
The antidote they used in the maze after bring stung by the monsters in the maze was for the sting you get from the monsters the antidote wasn't for the virus outside of the maze
Yep. Not many people seem to grasp that for some reason. So, kudos to you!
Let's explain it to the uninitiated: The "Maze Runner" trials mean to develop, isolate and produce a curative enzyme that only occurs in immune's brains so humanity can be saved, even if it means killing the immunes. The Flare is the trilogy's MacGuffin. In any experiment, you need a treatment group and a control group. The control group is the benchmark against which you compare the treatment group. The control group must be non-immunes, the treatment group immunes. Some of the Gladers are immune, others are not. The immunes are naturally immune to the Flare. If the Griever sting were the Flare, it would only give the immunes a nasty wound, not the disease. So, the Griever sting cannot be Flare because all the Gladers, both immune and non-immune, have to be at risk of death for the sake of the experiment. We conclude Griever sting is similar in effect to the Flare, but it's 100% curable by WCKD since Thomas was cured. Also, it can't be communicable since WCKD would not want all the test subjects to die if one were stung.
“Do you think they feel like TV dinners?” 😂😂 love the Die Hard reference
😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘
the third movie of this series is probably one of, if not, the the best movie i’ve ever watched. i had the pleasure of seeing it in theaters when it first came out and to me, a movie has never made me feel the way the third movie did. i’m excited to see ur reaction to the next movie.
Was just watching your get out reaction and thought ‘I can’t wait for the next maze runner movie’, and here it is!!! Can’t wait to watch 🎉
Hope you enjoyed😁🤙
I dont know if anyone else has said this but Brenda's brother was in the maze with our main characters, on the wall ith the names his was crossed off.
For once I think it's a huge benefit for you to be able to watch these films all at once. I remember watching them as they were released and not really thinking they were that good. However I rewatched them again recently and entirely changed my mind. I realised that the reason I didn't think they were that good was the long release breaks in between. Exactly as you say they're so fast-paced and there's absolutely no fat and I found that difficult to follow with the long break between this and the final film. So glad I watched them again as they're truly a fantastic set of films!
I love Dylan O'Brian so much.
Loved your reaction you guys! These are phenomenal movies. The opening scene of the third movie is pretty damn amazing… looking forward to that reaction. It all ties together well.
It isn't mentioned in the movies but Sonya, the ginger girl that hugged Aris, and Newt are siblings. Additionally, all the kids that were taken by WCKD were given different names like how Thomas's real name was Stephen and Newt was Sam, etc...
Book spoilers!
@@KHWendy28 I'm sorry but you had 6 years to read it 😭😭
I'm so glad y'all get to experience those movies for the first time. It's honestly always making my day watching your reactions! Thank you for that 💜 And I totally forgot that Petyr Baelish and Missandei from Game of Thrones where in that movie. Also I agree with Mr Quinn here, that it's kinda weird to see Giancarlo Esposito in a nice role for a change 😂
BADD MEDICINE IS BACK
The organic/mechanical creatures are called Grievers.
I can't believe it's taken me this long to realize the cranks down in the underground are crazily similar to the monsters in The Last Of Us.
Children of men is one if the best dystopia style films. Clive Owen's performance is amazing.
The Maze Runner is my all time favorite trilogy. Can't wait for you guys to watch the Death Cure
getting ready to go to bed so i can go to the gym and this notification popped up. looks like i’m losing sleep
😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
Fun fact: if u didn’t notice, there is another boy who escaped with them who’s name is jack, he wore a black hoodie in this film, he actually just straight up disappears in the mall crank chase, he actually had a deleted death scene which would’ve occurred before they went up to the 3rd floor. jack would had basically let the others pass him and he would’ve then saved frypan from a crank, then another crank grabs jack and he is then tackled by another crank and is pushed off the side of the ledge and is hanging off the escalator bar, frypan goes back and tries to save him as he yells for help, but a 3rd crank jumps on to him and he falls to his death.

Yay to the upload! Boo to Teresa! 😅😅😅
Each movie has such a different feel and I'm not mad at it...Great sequel.
The bridge is the George Washington Bridge connecting Manhattan and New Jersey
I love how every few videos or so you guys are like "they did this on myth busters" that's so relatable, i can't help but say it anytime i see something that was debunked on mythbusters
Yayyy I loved the reaction I was surprised to see you reacted to this so soon usually it takes weeks or so for you to see people react to a second movie thank you guys!
Always love your guys reactions!! Keep it up!! Love this series!! 🙌🙌🙌
I love watching you guys react to movies (and you Diamond Dave ;p ), I keep coming back to rewatch older reactions and I love it every single time. Keep up the good work guys!!
If we don’t get the divergent series from you guys I WILL CRY 😭 ❤ big fan x
Coming soon 😁😁😁
The woman who was shot by Janson (Who is Lord Baelish on Game of Thrones) was the lead actress in the first Conjuring movie. I absolutely love the Maze Runner movie trilogy. These types of movies and TV shows for the record are so phenomenal because it did not worried about ideology or woke culture. All the these people cared about back then was telling a great story and brining it to life. 😍
Agreed.
Been waiting for this reaction. Can’t wait to see y’all’s final reaction
This is awesome guys, can’t wait for y’all to see the third one that one is my favorite!
When I first saw these movies I was in awe also. Then in this one with Theresa I was blown away and shocked.
That moral dilemma you spoke about reminds me of Minority Report (where I side with the villain). I really like when they include that in films. It was done right in Civil War (you understood where both parties are coming from and that made it realistic and intrigued you) and I can't wait to watch more things with it in its plot.
So many familiar faces in this movie, conjuring lady, clary from shadow hunters effy from skins the list goes on all great talent
No better way to unwind after a long day than to watch you guys react to great movies. Loved the video and your opinions about the movie 🤩
I was blown away when I first watched the Maze runner. Unfortunately I had to wait years to watch all 3😉 definitely worth waiting for. I bought all the movies and I’ve watched all of them twice so far. To be continued…😊
Love your reactions. I “found” you at Lotr and have been following you since.
I'm glad we don't have to wait a week or month with you guys!
From what I remember the original release date for the Death Cure was February 2017 and was pushed back a year to January 2018 because production had to be stopped for a year after Dylan's accident.
We don't have much details but from what I read Dylan was on top of a moving car, it malfunctionned, and Dylan was sent into the back of a train. He broke half of his face. He had reconstructive surgery then was in recovery for months.
After that he filmed American Assassin (which I highly recommend you watch) and Teen Wolf (supernatural tv show; his first role ever; breakout role) before finishing the Death Cure.
Speaking of the movie, it's an emotional rollercoaster, prepare yourselves!
I love this trilogy so much.
PS: The accident happened during the opening scene.
Just realized that you guys are my favorite yt channel.
This is my favorite in the series! I think the next one is better, but the cranks/zombie type of thing is why I love this so much haha and the addition of Brenda and Jorge. Also I can’t stand Teresa!
Not happy with Teresa choice lol!
I love watching videos like this Thank you so much fun
I read the books before the release of each film and i remember being absolutely amazed at that lightning storm scene in the film bc it played out exactly as i had imagined it as i read the book! I also HATED Brenda in the books but loved her in the films. Might have just been bc i was the character's age when i read them but much older by the time the last film released. I might reread the books just to see how my adult perspective differs from what i remember feeling when i read them as a teen 🤔
When I first saw these movies I was in awe also. Then in this one with Teresa I was blown away and shocked.
The one you thought was Zoey is MISANDE from G.O.T! Also idk if you already watched Divergent but Zoey was actually in that.
Not sure if someone else has clarified this but Dylan more than just broke his leg. He basically broke his face and almost died. He was jumping onto a train from a car and his harness malfunctioned and he got ran over by the car. He was pretty messed up and mentally traumatized.
And a real trooper and team player for coming back and finishing the film.
Man I read the books way before the movies came out and I still loved the movies, both this movie and book were my favorites out of the series.
One of the best book adaptation in YA novels. . Just like the HG trilogy this series is fire!!
The Hunger Games is the best book-to-movie adaptation I know of. Maze Runner is an excellent film saga and an even better saga in books, but it's a very bad adaptation because from the second volume onwards it becomes two different stories
Gotta disagree there. I love the Maze Runner books and the movies. But the 2nd and 3rd movies aren't the best adaptations. They're pretty fucking different. The Hunger Games, however, is pretty accurate all the way through. Those are good adaptations
Oak always gives such interesting, in depth commentary especially about themes/messages/ethics. I enjoy it 😊😊
yess! I was just wondering when you guys would react to part 2
Honestly the level in which the cast grew with so many great actors make this one such an entertaining one, you are just seeing lots of familiar actors pop up. Funnily you thought the girl was going to be revealed as Zoe Kravitz but it wasn’t I for sure prefer Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) for the tone of this film, don’t know if Zoe would play the character the way I’d like but she was in Divergent. The other OTHER dystopian series.
Divergent will be coming real soon here.
Yeah I think all these movies were very much marketed as "for teen girls".
For Hunger Games they focused way too much on that whole love triangle thing, really pushing the "Team Peeta or Team Gale" thing in an attempt to replicate that era of Twilight fandom (where everybody was either Team Edward or Team Jacob) when that obviously wasn't the point of the movies (and most teen girls understood that, the marketing execs did not). And they had Effie/capitol inspired make up lines and those pink nerf crossbows as the "girl" version of nerf guns were marketed as being hunger games inspired... I don't blame you guys for that not catching your attention and not making you want to watch the movies. And then I think anything that came after it was put in the same category, so the logic was "Hunger Games is for teen girls so all of these other Hunger-Games-era dystopian movies are also for teen girls. Especially the Maze Runner, teen girls watch that only because Dylan O'Brien is hot". And because oftentimes that is "for teen girls" is perceived as vapid (or at least less complex), the general public really slept on all those movies.
Hmmm. Well, Dylan O'Brien would certainly have attracted teen girls. To be honest, all of the guys were pretty good-looking. For example, I thought the actor who played Ben in the first film was extremely good-looking. All that said, I feel these films appealed to males more than females. There weren't any love-triangles or anything of that ilk. It was very much an adventure/journey story albeit with some rather deep and dark subtext.
Yeaaaah was exited for this cant wait for the next one!!!
I can't remove my eyes on Oak's whiteboard with deathly hallows drawn on it 😆
I don't think it's ever really said what city that's supposed to be but I'm fairly certain that in the third one a part of it is set in what used to be Denver so it's definitely North America
Can’t wait for the 3rd reaction
i saw it and clicked straight away!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@BaddMedicine i hope you make a reaction to death cure as soon as possible 😁
Having not seen this movie until now, the first thing I thought on seeing the guy in charge of the base is, "oh, it's Little Finger. I don't trust him already!" Then when he starts calling out names to go to "The Farm" I immediately start thinking 2005" Ewan McGregor film The Island.
I love this trilogy of Maze Runner, the first one is still my favorite, but they r all great
